Leena's heart pounded with the terity of his voice, as gravelly and penetrating deep into her soul. She could feel his throbbing heartbeat at the proximity of being close to his body. Desperate to drink a glass of water to quench her dry throat lifted.
She clasped his waist tightly to tranquil the raging beast. She doesn't want him to lose his control, for this place is not their territory. This witch queen has executed her brother rcilessly for the throne and Leena has a gut feeling that Eleanor's love for Devin was only because of power.
The inner turmoil in his body cald down and his gaze softened as he looked at Leena. "Stay here for a while. I will have to talk with her."
"No. You are not_"
"Sweetheart, I promise, it's just a talk." He assured understanding of her concern. He doesn't want Leena to hear the conversation that is going to happen between them.
Half nodding her head, Leena let Devin guide her to the chair. She doesn't want to be in this place but can't help it either. "I will be back in five minutes." He said and his gaze moved to the bodyguards. They nodded their head in understanding.
Devin's gaze then fell on Eleanor's face and she instantly knew he is here with a purpose. She turned around and climbed the steps to let Devin follow her.
The mont he entered the study room, his gaze fell on the report which Eleanor quickly closed.
"What is the aning of this, Devin!" Eleanor yelled. "You married her without my consent. I am still the head of the Wang family. I deserve so respect." She shouted. She is still legally married to Arthur and the reason she did not accept the divorce despite Arthur's pressure was to have a command over the Wang family. But both his son and daughter married soone without her approval and now her grandson followed the sa path.
"Respect is for those who deserve it." He stated.
"If you are here to showcase your marital status, I am least bothered by it."
"Neither I am here for it." Devin chuckled. "I will tell you a small story. Listen carefully."
"Once upon a ti, a lonely man was wandering in the darkest roads to escape from the dark. One fine day, he was pulled into the abyss of a cheerful girl and from then on her soul beca his moon. I will leave it to your imagination what sort of state they are in."
Eleanor's face grew pale and her eyes turned wide.
"You are right. The man is and the girl is my wife. You might be the queen of this country but you can never outshine my ruthlessness. If you are thinking that you can easily control by making the prince, I suggest you stop the cheap tricks else..." Devin's sinister smile terrified Eleanor. "I hope you are smart enough to catch the wind."
Devin looked at his wristwatch. "Oh! No. It's already a second late. I promised my wife I would take only five minutes. I will take my leave then, Queen Eleanor Catharina. Hope we don't see each other again."
As Devin left the room, Eleanor collapsed on to the floor when her knees gave in. Beads of trickled molded on her forehead. She has got threats from the ti she ruled as the queen. Nothing could shake her in fear but for the first ti, she quivered today.

From ti to ti, Leena's gaze would wander to the stairs but the man in question has not shown up. The mont Leena heard his footsteps, she rushed towards him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you."
"It's only five minutes, darling." He wrapped his arms around her waist and inhaled her lavender scent.
"I don't like this place."
" neither." He smiled Patting her head. "Let's go ho."

When Leena stepped into the private jet, Devin picked her up and placed her head on his chest. The mont of awkwardness has gone completely between them and Leena was back to her crazy self. Like a frog, she started babbling boasting about herself without thinking that soone is not listening.
"So, what do you think of my achievents?"
No response.
"Babylicious?" When Leena didn't receive praise from him, she looked up and was surprised to see he had fallen asleep.
"Am I neglecting you? Why did you get dark circles?" Leena traced his dark circles, saddened by them. "I will order one good eye cream for you." Speaking of his eyes, a thought occurred into her mind to decorate it colorfully.

Devin groggily woke up from his sleep when he felt a prick on his eyelids. Leena yelped when she was caught red-handed and imdiately retreated her arms.
"What prank did you pull now"
"I_I nothing."
With one hand, he captured her hands, and with the other, he grabbed the mobile. Terrified to see the bright colors on his eyelids, he directed his anger on the culprit. "Last ti it was pigtails, now it's eye shadows. What_"
"I was only trying to cover your dark circles." Leena pouted.
"It's been a long ti I punished you, right?" Devin flipped their positions and climbed on top of Leena tracing his thumb over her lower lips. Like a seductress, she bit his thumb maintaining eye contact.
"If you bite it again, I am not responsible for my actions."
"What kind of actions?" She bit his thumb to annoy him.
"Our clothes will probably co off within few seconds." His deep and husky voice was putting her into a wild imagination but if she doesn't stop him now, they would end up doing it in the flight. Although it's a private jet, it's a big no for Leena and she knew Devin also doesn't encourage it. A thought occurred to divert Devin's attention. "I have been thinking of it for a while. Why did you na this private jet as Raven?"
Devin pondered for a bit.. Why did I na it Raven? Even his friends asked him and he has now answer then and now either.
