An hour before.
"Drew, Why are you dragging when I have an important eting in an hour and you very well knew I am a public figure right?" Devin furiously looked at his annoying best friend who was pulling him from his office.
"You still have 2 hours for the eting Vincy. Azure's privacy is unerring. You don't need to worry about your fans. Even I am very busy with many cases at my office. But I want to taste the authentic food of Azure hotel again." The last ti Drew went to Azure hotel for a lunch with Devin and he happens to drink a banana smoothie and it tasted heavenly. So here he is dragging his best friend again along with him.
"Your fetish over that banana smoothies is not over yet?" He really wondered what's so good about banana smoothies that Drew drinks it every day even now.
"Don't insult them. They are the best in the world." Drew exaggerated as if he is very proud of it.
"No one would say that except you." He remarked shaking his head and Devin suddenly rembered sothing he has asked for.
"Did you get the list of people from the Serene hotel I have asked for?" It's been three days and this idiot did not even bother to inform anything and he was really getting impatient and that little kitten is haunting his dreams every day without fail.
"Hey! Do you think I have ti for all those? I am a famous attorney and I am very busy. You have to wait until I_"
Devin kicked his leg interrupting him.
"Owww, It hurts Vincy." Drew started his tragic acting again holding his leg, wailing like a child.
"You still suck at acting. Now tell the truth." He demanded crossing his arms.
"I was playing video gas." Drew sheepishly admitted when his best friend sees through his lies.
"On my table, tomorrow or else go by yourself," Devin stated and started back to his office but the irritating Drew pounced on him.
"All right. I will use all my powers and get that precious file on your table tomorrow." He barked at his friend and dragged him out of the office. Devin reluctantly stepped into his Maybach. He accelerated his car and sped off to hotel Azure.

Drew ordered all his favorite dishes and started eating like a starving pig while Devin was looking intently at his mobile phone playing a ga. When he was about to ask if Drew has finished his food, his eyes unconsciously followed to see a familiar figure walking into the hotel in a gorgeous dress.
Her raven hair was tied into a ssy bun leaving a few baby strands falling over her sides. His heart skipped a beat when he looked at those amber-brown eyes like a pool of honey shining brighter than any night city. He was rooted to his spot again by this enthralling beauty. No. His world has stopped every ti she has appeared in front of him.
She has reached over a table and flumped on the seat clearly oblivion to all the stares she is receiving including the famous Wang Devin the mont she stepped into Azure. Devin imdiately flared up from his stance to et her again. He wanted to speak with her continuously for the three days he has missed seeing, but his footsteps stopped in his tracks when he finally noticed a man sitting in front of her.
Another man! he sighed! How many bees she will attract. But It's not her fault right when she is drop-dead gorgeous.
The little jealousy Devin felt without his knowledge was imdiately thrown out of the window when his girl did not even encourage any sweet-talkings the man was continuously blabbering.
He knew his little kit's temper. The way her razor-sharp tongue jabs each word, he has personally witnessed it in DewGarden. She did not even bother if he was a rich heir to teach him a lesson. A strong woman would never back off at anything, the first quality Devin liked in her.
Judging by the way she was acting not even bothering talking to the man, he knew she would definitely give a hard ti to him. Looks like I will see another crazy show from her, Devin scoffed.
And she didn't disappoint him.
The mont she asked the waiter to get a banana smoothie and the way she was explaining how to blend the mixture properly and the awkward stares both the n were giving to her, which she did not even bother and continued her mission, he wanted to roll on the floor laughing but held back. He really pitied those two souls.
"That must be super awkward for both of them." He closed his eyes smiling and shaking his head. That was a smooth way to ruin a date without even crossing her limits.
God! Where does she get all those crazy ideas?
While Devin was imrsed in his own world, there was another person who was looking at the sa person in awe. He is none other than our Drew. When he finished eating his food and was about to drink his favorite banana smoothie which he has kept it for last to savor the taste, one particular food from a distance ringed into his ears crisp and clear, and that imdiately grabbed his attention.
Banana smoothie.
His mouth watered with the way she was explaining it to the waiter on how to blend the mixture perfectly. It was so tempting that he wanted to taste that divine elixir on priority. He smiled with pride and happiness when he finally found a person who has the sa liking as him and looked at her as if she is an angel descended from heaven, but the little happiness died down when he heard the scariest word in the world that can literally make him pee on his pants.
Ghosts.
The one chilling word was making Drew shake in terror as if he has seen that live Lava ghost. He knew ghosts exist, but none of his friends believed him when he tried to explain them. With a shaky hand, he held his friend's hand for support while Devin was in his own trance looking at his little kit. He tried to brush off the little intrusion, but the stubborn Drew held him even more tightly.
Finally, the date Leena has successfully ruined was accomplished and was about to leave the place when she felt a pair of eyes watching her intently. Chills ran down her spine as if she has been thrown to Antarctica when she looked at one person with her mouth gagged open.
"Close your mouth, I saw a fly roaming here." She heard a voice clear and pleasant like an evening breeze. Leena imdiately shut her mouth.
How did the tables turn?
Despite Devin stated in a flat tone, he was trying to self-control from every ounce of his body not to burst out laughing. She sure will be the death of one day. Why is she so cute?
Leena imdiately sat on her chair trying to hide under the table. Why is this jinx here? Why am I eting him again? She cried. But why are you hiding Leena? Lookup. You have not done anything wrong this ti. Give him back for copying your invented script.
"You copy cat, brother of a rusk. Shalessly using my own discovered screenplay script." Leena angrily rebuked.
"Well, I don't mind being shaless for you. FYI, I have a brother and I don't mind you calling him a rusk if it's you." Devin flashed a wink at her.
Leena opened her mouth to reprimand him again but nothing would co out of her. Why is this man so shaless? Didn't he hate ? He has clearly declared he would sue for my adulterous activity right?
While she was in her own thoughts, there was one more person who was equally shocked looking at his best friend. Did I hear clearly? When did Vincy beco so shaless?
Devin ignored the bewildered looks of both and got up from his position. When he was about to go near his little kit, a handheld back.
"Vincy, don't go. She can see and talk to live ghosts." Drew uttered in a trembled voice to save his friend.
"Drew, She is just bluffing to_"
"I didn't"
"She didn't"
Both uttered at the sa ti.
Leena and Drew looked at each other nodding their heads as if they agreed. But Devin shook his best friend's handoff from the tight grip and walked towards her with his long legs. The tall figure has to bend down slightly to reach her sitting position.
"Do you like banana smoothies a lot?". His voice was a lody to her ears entering into a trance. He made ntal note to learn the best blend for her.
Leena was completely lost gazing into his clear hazel eyes, she unconsciously nodded her head when he questioned. She did not look at him properly when they last t. Now, that she was looking at him, she was dazzled by his striking features. 100 tis more charming. It was repetitively ringing into her ears. She brushed off that thought coming out of her reverie.
"Good job. I am really proud of you. That's a very clever way to ruin a date." Devin gently patted her head. He wondered why she is not barking at him right now the way she did earlier.
"I hate soone touching ." Leena broke from her trance when the shaless man was patting her head as if she is a dog. She imdiately swatted his hand with her index finger. Good job? Proud of ? What is this jinx thinking of ?
"All right. I won't." He sighed. The little kit is back to her badass mode again. At least I enjoyed her soft side for a minute.
RING.RING.
He has to put a stop to tease her when he heard his ringing mobile reminding of the eting again. Can't I postpone this eting? No. That annoying secretary will co up with a battalion and start a war with .
"I have an important eting today and they really need my presence. Don't worry. We will be eting again. Besides we have so matters to settle right?" He was speaking to her as if they have known for a long ti. He flashed a wink and mouthed a goodbye to her before walking out.
Leena stared at the retreating figure without blinking.
Drew looked at the walking figure blankly. Did he forget about ? He went near to Leena's table and stared at the untouched banana smoothie. All the earlier mories flooded again.
"Can I have this smoothie?" He asked innocently trying to hold the glass. He imdiately put the smoothie down when Leena sharply gazed at him.
"Actually, I am a very good person. He is a very bad and shaless person." Drew tried to buy his friend off. He wanted to try his luck again if he can get a hold of the glass.
"Birds of the sa feather flock together. He is one shaless idiot and you are one hungry pig." Leena kicked him on his leg and rushed out before he could catch her.
"Oww." Drew winced in pain with the strong kick. What did I do now? It was clearly Vincy who provoked her.. Why didn't she kick him? He cried and went out.
