"We will take care of her." Rail remarked.

She nodded, and together they walked in silence. When they reached the entrance, Rail caught sight of his Alpha and quietly retreated, leaving Luna Queen to her husband.

The greenhouse stood like an ancient temple, giving off the sa aura, stone-frad, its aisles guarded by chiseled animals, its pillars carved with age-old symbols of strength and bloom. It was far more serene than the King’s usual nature, yet this was his sanctuary. Here, he nurtured life with the sa hands that wielded death.

Ren’s lips parted slightly in awe, but then her gaze locked onto Kai.

Gods, he looked devastating. Tall, regal in his formal wear, the brooding weight of war and power still clinging to his fra, but his eyes, softened when they found her.

Before she could speak, he was there, pulling her in, hands on her waist, drawing her to him like she was the only air in the world he needed to breathe. His mouth t hers with fierce longing, and the kiss stole her breath and every lingering doubt. Her fingers twisted in his collar as he deepened it, and the air grew thick with the heat between them.

She lted into him, her heart thudding against her chest. After everything, the gas, the politics, the silent storms, they found one quiet mont of truth in each other’s arms.

"I missed you," she whispered against his lips.

His reply was a promise, spoken in touch, not words.

" too, Love."

The kiss deepened, and she moaned in his mouth. She had missed him so much that he didn’t care what dirty moves he’d do to her. After going through so much tension, she needed his warmth.

Before she knew it, her back hit the table, and her legs were spread. Kai’s monster was released and thrust into her. She moaned and was imrsed in his love, and didn’t care if anyone was there at all.

Kai completely filled her, growling and letting go of his pain. It was killing him that she ignored him for the past two days.

After Lora carefully unwrapped her belongings, Araben felt a simring frustration that she needed to release. Wandering in the castle like a crazy cat, she saw Ren.

Seeing her sister headed for the greenhouse gave her the perfect opportunity to act on her jealousy and blow off so steam. She still held a deep grudge that Ren insulted her mother in front of others.

How about breaking her leg as she did once so she would be limping during the feast? Showing how useless and weak she was.

’The cripple Queen of Thegara.’ the thought crossed her mind. It tasted sweet in her mouth.

The greenhouse was a place of solace for the King, a sanctuary he only shared with Ren. Araben had always envied the privilege Ren had there, while Ara wished to be the one invited, but was always left on the outside.

Today, she decided she’d ruin her sister’s peace.

Hiding in the shadows, Araben watched with narrow eyes, expecting to catch a glimpse of the King, who often invited Ren to tend to his flowers. But what she saw shocked her. Ren, her sister, and her husband were lost in a mont of passion, and lust, and their connection was undeniable. The sight stirred sothing dark within Araben, her breath catching in her throat as she watched the raw intensity between them.

She could feel her own core getting wet!

Her thoughts turned to her own desires, last week, she and Dankin had turned eighteen, and their parents had insisted they choose their future spouses. But after witnessing the bond between Ren and Kai, Araben couldn’t help but wish for soone like him, strong, commanding, and entirely captivating.

A dangerous resolve began to take root in Araben’s heart. She would prove to the world that her sister’s marriage was nothing but an illusion. If she could destroy that image, tear apart the idea of Ren’s perfect life, perhaps, just maybe, she could force her sister to feel the pain Araben had suffered in silence.

Her eyes glittered with malicious intent. There had to be a way to expose the Alpha King of Thegara and Ren for what they truly were, just another pair of heartless, power-hungry savages who cared only for themselves.

All of Thegara’s monsters were the sa, wild, hungry for gold, and fucking.

Turning around, she tiptoed out, happy that they didn’t catch her.

...

Back in the greenhouse, as both of them were released, Kai gasped and looked at the shadowy area of the place.

"Soone saw us!" He muttered, gasping. During the heat of their lovemaking, the sharp tang of feminine perfu stung his nostrils, but he didn’t care. He wouldn’t draw back even if that was the King of Alvonia himself.

"That was Araben. That shaless rat was watching us." Ren caught the scent of that familiar perfu the mont she entered.

Kai removed his wife’s shawl off her shoulders and started to wipe her off. After cleaning her, he carried her to their chambers as fast as possible and then to the bathroom.

"Take a bath with before dinner. There will be a lot of annoying faces there."

"Where is the King? I’ve not seen him for two days."

Ren helped her husband get out of his clothes.

Kai shrugged, "He let Sunkiath eat and heal, then suddenly vanished. He might be scheming secretly. Don’t worry, he’ll be at the dining table soon."

After their pleasant bath and another round of lovemaking in that warm water, they were ready to sit at one table with so human royals. Most of them were foes.

Ren dressed her hair and pierced a dragon hairpin in her bun.

"Gloria doesn’t like to be announced. Are you sure that the King will announce both of us at the sa ti?"

"Yes, wife. He will do this. And I’ve told you why."

Whatever he said was nothing new. She guessed why the King wouldn’t risk their lives. Both of them were legitimate daughters of House D’Orient. Araben could never be a legitimate princess because her mother beca pregnant before marriage. She hated this fact so much. This matter was also the only reason that scared Dankin. From childhood, he dread of becoming the King of Alvonia, pursued by his Grandfather, the War Minister of Sokalia, Karon Kalia. A powerful man who had a very important seat on the council of Alvonia.
