As a man who wants to have a great grandchild, Lu Qian was happy to see Little lon. He was his grandson’s child after all.
At first, when Lu Qian learned that his grandson, Lu Yifeng married soone else other than Bai Xiu Ying, he got angry at him. He was about to summon Lu Yifeng and ask him about this but he decided to look at the background of the girl he married first. He needs to find sothing against her so that he can make Lu Yifeng divorce her.
He saw in the news that Lu Yifeng and Xia ilin was married for four years. Obviously, Lu Qian didn’t believe that. If Lu Yifeng married a woman for that long, he should have found it out already.
Lu Qian found out the real relationship between Lu Yifeng and Xia ilin. They just shared one night with each other and because of this, Little lon was made.
Xia ilin was a well-known pianist in the country, so this reputation of her has reached Lu Qian. He doesn’t really mind that Lu Yifeng married Xia ilin because she ca from a good family even if it wasn’t as good as the Bai family.
What attracted Lu Qian in the report he received was Lu Yifeng and Xia ilin’s son, Little lon.
Little lon was known as a prodigy just like his mother. He was considered a genius in playing the piano. He may have not attended Xia ilin’s concert but he watched it online.
The last part, where Little lon joined his mother was sothing that fascinated him. Little lon wasn’t like any other kids, he was intelligent and his piano skills was sothing not to be taken lightly.
After eting Little lon in person, Lu Qian was sure that the little boy was taught well. He couldn’t help but feel proud to have a talented grandson.
Having two great people as parents, they were able to make such a beautiful and talented child.
"Grandfather, this is my wife, Xia ilin." Lu Yifeng introduced as he and Xia ilin stood before the old man.
Lu Qian looked at Xia ilin for a while. He can tell that she was nervous but she was able to manage to maintain a calm front. He smirked inwardly as he looked at her. Xia ilin reminded him of soone...
"It’s nice to et you, grandpa Lu." Xia ilin politely bowed at him.
Lu Qian gave her a nod in acknowledgnt before he turned to look at her grandparents.
"Hey! Old man Lu!" Xia Jiamu grinned when he saw Lu Qian. "Co here and sit with us!"
Lu Qian’s brow twitched. Xia Jiamu was still the sa as ever.
Ji Ruo hit him on his arm, "What are you, a kid? Act your age old man!"
Lu Qian sighed. Ji Ruo was still aggressive as ever.
"Do you know the Xia elders, grandfather?" Jing Yue asked. From the looks of it, it seems like they know each other.
"Old friends." This was Lu Qian’s only response before he went to join the oldies table.
Once upon a ti, these three oldies were all in the sa circle of friends during their ti in military camp.
Xia ilin and Lu Yifeng looked at each other. Was this a good thing?
"I heard that you gave my grandson a good beating, Ji Ruo." Lu Qian said as he sat on a chair beside Xia Jiamu.
"He needs to be taught." Ji Ruo crossed her arms. She took a glance at Xia ilin and Lu Yifeng. Seeing that they were now in good terms, she nodded at herself. "A man should always treat a woman right."
anwhile, Lu Xian Yu went to his mother with Li Bingbing on his side.
"Hey, mom."
Jing Yue turned and saw her son, she took a quick glance at Li Bingbing. "Have you finally found yourself a wife?"
"I am just his friend, Madam Lu." Li Bingbing quickly said. Making sure that Lu Xian Yu won’t be able to say anything strange to anyone anymore.
"Ah... I thought he finally found one." Jing Yue sighed. She didn’t mind the kind of girl Lu Xian Yu choose since he was a difficult case. As long as he chooses a woman, she will accept her.
Lu Xian Yu narrowed his eyes at what Li Bingbing did. It looked like he still needed to give her a strict lesson for her to be obedient to him.
Li Bingbing quickly pulled her hand away and turned away from Lu Xian Yu, leaving him there. This was the chance she was finding to escape his grasp.
Li Bingbing went towards Little lon. "Hi there, cupcake."
"Sister Bingbing!" Little lon smiled at her.
"Here’s a simple gift from ." Li Bingbing knelt in front of him. She took a small box from her pocket.
Little lon quickly opened the small box and inside it was a Puss in Boots keychain. Little lon couldn’t help but grin when he saw the adorable keychain. "llo loves it! Thank you, Sis Bingbing!"
Since Li Bingbing was kneeling in front of him, he gave her a hug.
"I still have so more but your uncle Xian Yu took it so you’ll see it together with his gift." She hugged him back.
"Okay! llo can’t wait to see the other gifts!"
She pulled away from the hug and patted his head. "I am a busy woman, I have to go now, okay? I’m so happy that I was able to attend your celebration."
"Sister Bingbing should visit llo at ho." Little lon said while looking up at her.
Li Bingbing grinned at him. "I will." She turned to Xia ilin and Lu Yifeng. "Both of you are doing well as parents."
"Are you sure you want to leave early?" Xia ilin could see that there was sothing wrong with Li Bingbing even if she was all smiling.
"Yes. I’m just going to rest early tonight."
