When Xia iren went back, she was surprised to see her brother sitting alone. It was a good thing that their table was at the corner so what happened earlier didn’t caught the attention of others since most of them are either in the dance floor or with others, socializing.
"Sinian-ge, where is llo?" Xia iren asked.
Xia Sinian raised a brow upon hearing the na. "llo? Didn’t you nad him ’Gua’?"
"Yes, but his na here is llo, and besides, my son likes it when I call him llo." Xia iren said as she looked around for Little lon and Feng Ning. Did they went sowhere together? "By the way, where is he, brother?"
"He went running off sowhere. Feng Ning went to go after him." He replied calmly. "He’s a troubleso child, running off wherever he wants."
Xia iren turned to her brother as she narrowed her eyes. "Xia Gua is an obedient boy. He won’t go running off sowhere unless you said sothing to him."
Xia Sinian’s face remained calm, "I said a few things." He didn’t deny anything since he was a straightforward person.
"Y-You...!" She gritted her teeth. "I will beat you up later." She turned and left him alone since she was very worried of her son.
Xia Sinian ignored her, there’s no way that she can beat him just because she said so. He stood up and decided to talk with his friends.
While searching for Little lon, she bump to Feng Ning. "Ning-ge! Have you seen my son?"
Feng Ning shook his head. "No, not yet. I’ve been looking for him since earlier but I couldn’t find him"
This ti, Xia iren started panicking. Feng Ning saw this that’s why he patted her shoulder. "Calm down, Xiao i. llo must be hiding sowhere. You search over there while I search over the other side, okay? If we work together, we will be able to find him soon."
Her eyes beca watery as she nodded her head. "T-Thank you for your help Ning-ge..."
"I will go ask fo my friends to help us too, okay? Lets go."
Once again, they separated.
Xia iren was worried and was panicking since she couldn’t find Little lon but at the sa ti, she was angry because of her brother. If it was not for Xia Sinian, Little lon wouldn’t have run away!
Did he went down to hide in another floor? That was possible since he couldn’t be found anywhere in the dining hall, that’s why Xia iren went to the elevator. By the ti she went there, the elevator doors slid open, revealing a man, holding a little boy’s hand.
"Xia Gua!"
"Momma!" Little lon quickly pulled his hand off from the man’s hold before he jumped into Xia iren’s embrace as he cried. "Momma... momma..."
Xia iren held him close in her arms as she carried him, relief finally filled her whole body. "I finally found you..."
"Momma won’t leave llo, right? Right? Momma... please don’t send llo to orphanage..." He sobbed.
She furrowed her brows upon hearing his words, she looked at him, "Mommy will never leave you. I will never send you to the orphanage, who told you this?"
"U-Uncle Sinian." He sniffled. "U-Uncle Sinian said that... that momma doesn’t love llo that’s why... that’s why momma nad llo... Gua!" He cried out loud once again. It was a good thing that no one was around the corner or else they will definitely catch the attention of others.
The man who brought Little lon was quietly watching the two at the side.
Xia iren was filled with rage when she heard what Little lon said but it didn’t show on her face. She gently wiped Little lon’s cheeks with her thumb. "Don’t cry, don’t cry. What he said is a lie. I love you so much, okay? Besides, I nad you Xia Gua because of my love for lons! lon is one of my favorite fruit, that’s why I nad you after it. Xia Gua is my favorite and the one I love the most."
Little lon finally stopped crying as he looked at her with red and puffy eyes. "R-Really? Momma’s saying the truth?"
Xia iren’s eyes softened. Little lon brought light and happiness in her life. Who wouldn’t love a boy that brings joy to her? She gave him a loving smile, "Yes, it’s the truth. I will never lie to you." She leans and placed a soft peck on his lips.
A smile finally appeared on his face, "llo still prefers llo, is it okay?"
She nodded. "Mm! Of course it’s okay~ llo is still from lon." She chuckled.
"llo loves momma a lot." He buried his face on the crook of her neck.
"I love you too." She gently patted his back. It hurt her to see her son crying earlier. How dare her brother do this? Even if Xia Sinian was her brother, she will not forgive him. so easily!
Xia iren suddenly rembered the man who brought Little lon back which made her raise her head to look at him.
"Thank yo-" she paused as soon as she saw the man. Her eyes went wide in surprise.
The handso man was wearing a black retro suit and his features was the sa as Little lon, except for his dark black eyes.
"Y-You..You’re... L-Lu Yifeng...?"
