He sat beside her and let out a heavy sigh as he leans and stared down the ground. He clasps his hands together and rested it on his forehead in a praying position. "He won’t be able to protect you when she cos..."
"What do you an, Ning-ge? Who’s she?" Xia ilin asked as she looked at him in confusion. What was he saying? Why did it sound like sothing big will happen if she cos?
"I’m trying to protect you, Xiao i..." He turned to her and held her hands together. "So co with . Let’s get out of this country. I promise to hide you well and-"
"Wait, wait, wait." Xia ilin tried pulling her hands away from his hold but she failed when he tightened his hold.
"She will kill you and your son, Xiao i. If you won’t leave this place then you’ll put Lu Yifeng in danger too." Feng Ning said seriously. "The person who killed your parents."
"I think you got it all wrong, Ning-ge. My parents died in an accident." Xia ilin could help but feel nervous, her hands started sweating and the way Feng Ning looked at her made her feel that what he was saying was the truth.
"Was it really an accident? It may look like one but they were both killed by her." He lowered his head, his lips stretched into a thin line. He wasn’t supposed to tell her this but he couldn’t tolerate it anymore when he learned that she was targeting Xia ilin too.
Her parents were killed? They did not died in a car crash? "How... how can you say that?"
Feng Ning looked at her and stared into her eyes. His eyes filled with fear and sadness at the sa ti. He looked like he was having a hard ti telling her but he has no choice, he needs to let her know if he wanted to keep her safe. "She’s coming with my parents."

Feng Ning’s lips were stretched into a thin line as he nodded. The woman was simply after the Xia family.
"No. I will not leave my grandma and grandpa here if she’s also after them." Xia ilin said firmly. "If she’s coming here to fight with us then we will prepare for that! Does she think she can destroy the Xia family so easily?!"
"Think of your children! Do you want them to be a part of this?! She’ll show no rcy even to your children!"
She pursed her lips as she instinctively placed her arms around her tummy in a protective manner. "You need to leave before she cos."
"But... my grandparents..." Xia ilin was not going to leave her grandparents.

Xia ilin shook her head as her tears started forming on the side of her eyes. It almost gave her a heart attack when she saw Lu Yifeng bleed in front of her. He got hurt because he protected her and she doesn’t want that to happen again.
