Lu Yifeng took a glance at Xia iren, he has to admit that when he saw her earlier, he was stunned by her beauty, just like that first night they shared together. He turned back to Little lon and carried him, he made the boy sit on his lap. His gaze was soft and gentle towards the little boy. "I am not your uncle Xian Yu, I am his twin brother, Lu Yifeng."
Little lon blinked a few tis as he stared at Lu Yifeng’s face before he grinned, he reached out and touched the small, almost unnoticeable beauty mole under his left eye. "Okay! Uncle Xian Yu doesn’t have mole here so llo believes uncle Yifeng!"
Xia iren felt like her heart was going to explode, she wanted to grab her son away from Lu Yifeng but she was too scared!
anwhile, Xia Sinian was internally panicking because of this as well.
"I am not your uncle. I am your father." Lu Yifeng was a straightforward person so he didn’t hesitate on telling Little lon that he was his father.
"No way! Dada is in heaven! llo has only one dada!" He pouted as he crossed his arms.
Lu Yifeng’s eyes darkened dangerously as he turned his head to Xia iren. "Will you believe it if it ca from your mother’s mouth?"
"Yup!" Little lon nodded cutely before he looked at Xia iren as well. "Momma said dada is in heaven, right?
"Co here and sit with us." Lu Yifeng said as he stared at her.
Xia iren was hesitant. The last thing she wants was to be sitting beside him.
"Momma..." Little lon reached out his hands to her as if wanting her to co close.
"Don’t worry, I’m here." Xia Sinian whispered to her.
The nervousness that Xia iren felt was lessen knowing that her older brother was there for her. She went and sat on Lu Yifeng’s side with enough space between them.
"Momma, is uncle Yifeng llo’s dada?" Little lon asked as he looked at his mother.
"He’s... h-he’s..." Xia iren started panicking when she saw how Lu Yifeng was looking at her, he was glaring at her. Although it was just Xia iren’s imagination since this was Lu Yifeng’s resting face. "Y-yes... he is..."
Little lon started tearing up, "Why did momma lied to llo?"
Lu Yifeng gently patted his head. "Your mother didn’t lie. What she ans is that I am here in another country."
Little lon looked up to him. "R-Really?"
He nodded. Lu Yifeng couldn’t help but soften his heart to this small kid on his lap. "Yes. Didn’t you fly in the heaven earlier? I was so busy with work that’s why I will apologize to you for not being able to spend ti with you... I will make up for it."
Lu Yifeng couldn’t help but be frustrated upon learning that he missed three years and a half of his son’s life. Lu Yifeng couldn’t help but hug Little lon in his arms. Just like his brother, Lu Yifeng was a man who would soften up whenever it cos to children.
"Dadaaa..." Little lon hugged him as he started crying. To be honest, Little lon was envious of seeing the other kids with their fathers. Back then, Little lon would always ask for his father but as he grew older, he stopped asking after Xia iren said that he is in heaven. Little lon always yearned for a father’s love.
Xia Sinian was surprised to see the gentleness that Lu Yifeng was showing to Little lon. He never imagined that a cold person can show a gentle side in him.
Xia iren lowered her head and clenched her fists tight. This was the last thing that she wants. She knows that Little lon will be able to accept Lu Yifeng at once. Growing up without a father makes Little lon yearn for one. She knows that feeling well since it was the sa thing for her. Growing up without her parents made her yearn for one.
"Don’t worry, I will make up for the ti we weren’t together." This was another side of Lu Yifeng that no one will ever expect to see.
Being embraced by the strong arms of his father made Little lon feel safe, it was different from Xia iren’s warm and gentle motherly hug. He easily opened up to him because of this.
Lu Yifeng finally faced Xia iren. "I will take responsibility for our son and for you."
’Our son’, this words made Xia iren’s heart race. She hates him so why is she reacting this way?
Lu Yifeng was the cold and ruthless twin but why is he acting so nice right now? He was a man that is supposed to belittle others but he doesn’t look like he is belittling her and Little lon, in fact, the gentleness in his eyes made her doubt the rumors about him.
’Not all rumors are true’, this was what her brother told her once.
Despite all of this, Xia iren couldn’t forget the fact that he raped her, he touched her without her permission. He was the person that violated her. He was her rapist and she was his victim. This was the biggest wall between her and Lu Yifeng.
