Daisy swallowed the big lump in her throat.

The thought of it made her feel like soone was clutching her heart.
And the funny thing was that she had even considered abortion at a point. Yet, the thought of losing her child was giving her waves of nausea now.

The cab ca to a screeching halt.
Daisy paid the driver so cash she had withdrawn and stepped out of the cab as she rubbed her chest, trying to get rid of the dark thoughts that consud her head.
But as her gaze shifted to the place in front of her, her heart dropped.
’Light Orphanage’
Yesterday, Si Yena was gone from the motel and upon tracking her again, this turned out to be her new location.
And Daisy believed that the man who was with her, apparently Ryle’s subordinate and Si Yena’s lover was trying to protect them from getting tracked.
But it was not a big deal for Daisy to track her anymore unless Si Yena deleted her social dia account which she would never do considering how obsessed she was with her fan following.
’’Miss Si had asked to hand this over to the owner of this orphanage,’’ Daisy, still disguised as Dexter, slapped a thick wad of cash on the table.
’’Who?" The receptionist was initially dazed by the handso man standing in front of her but she asked as soon as she ca back to her senses.
’’Miss Si Yena,’’ Daisy said, looking around the apparently small orphanage which seed to be going through a detailed renovation.
’’Benefactor?" the receptionist asked.
Benefactor?
Daisy’s brows raised subtly, ’’Yes.’’
’’Then, let take this to the owner...’’
Daisy grabbed the girl’s hand when she reached out to hold the cash, ’’I need to leave for business. Let et Miss Si first. In fact, shoot your owner a text so that they can thank her for this.’’
The receptionist was initially suspicious because she was told that nobody knew about Si Yena’s presence there but when she saw the cash, heard the man’s words, and noticed that the man seed to be acting like he was Si Yena’s subordinate, she did not doubt her anymore, ’’Please follow .’’
Inside a guest room in the orphanage.
’’Baby, don’t leave...’’ A woman was curled in the bed, naked in a man’s arms.
Si Yena’s bodyguard bit her shoulder, ’’We will make it out of this,’’ he palm squeezed the woman’s breast and as she moaned, he kissed her deeply before standing up, ’’If that crazy man does not stop coming after us, then I will let go of all my remaining respect for him. I will assassinate Ryle Harper.’’
He pushed himself to his feet and started getting dressed while the woman lay there on the bed, naked, ’’But...’’
’’There are not buts. I did not betray the organization. I love you and I did everything for you. I let him bother us enough. If he tries to co after us once again, it will be the day he will breathe his last,’’ a nacing glint flashed across the man’s face as he spoke.
Si Yena nodded coyly at her lover, ’’Can you not go?"
’’Baby, you wanted to eat chocolates, didn’t you? You have already been sacrificing a lot for these days. The least I can do for you is to let you eat the food of your choice,’’ he kissed her neck deeply before he left.
Si Yena blushed. The chocolates he ant... were a different kind of chocolates.
’’Close the door,’’ the man ordered.
She put on a robe and closed the door obediently.
Five minutes passed before there was a knock on the door. Did he co back so early?
Si Yena frowned.
Hesitating, she walked towards the door but she did not open it.
She checked from the peephole.
Since this was initially a very small orphanage, it did not take her long to recognize the person standing at the door. The receptionist.
She sighed in relief before opening the door but the relief on her face was replaced by disbelief when she saw the person standing next to the receptionist.
She tried to close the door but a foot was stuck in between the wall and the door, halting her movents abruptly.
The receptionist did not notice the small exchange between both people.
Daisy smiled at her, ’’Thanks, we have personal matters to discuss. You should go and find the owner,’’ she said.
The receptionist instantly rembered the huge amount of cash she had stacked on her desk. She did her greetings quickly before she rushed away.
Si Yena was too stunned to react. ’’I don’t know this person....’’ By the ti the words made it out of her mouth, the receptionist was gone and Daisy had stepped inside the room.
She locked the door behind them, ’’Yena, calm down, it’s ,’’ she talked in her own voice this ti.
But Si Yena did not stop panicking.
Daisy pulled the wig from her hair, ’’It’s , Daisy. I know you are in trouble right now but don’t panic...’’ she said, ’’I will protect you. And it’s tricky but I will try my best to help you escape with your lover,’’ Initially, she thought that it was going to be hard to be able to do that with Ryle’s involvent in it.
But Daisy then thought that she was not going to sit around and watch her friend drown in grief. She would try her best to find a way to help them.
Si Yena gulped, gradually calming down when she heard the ntion of her lover, ’’Just leave,’’ she said.
’’I am not here to put you in a spot. I am here to help you. The person you both have ssed with is not an easy target but I will try my best to let you escape.’’
