The people looked at each other. Today’s drama was really over the top and many of them were still in disbelief.
Having been present there, they did not want to be dragged into this matter as well because be it Lu family, Chen family, the enigmatic Kingsley clan or simply the lone existence Ryle Harper, they could not afford to offend any of them in the slightest.
The only reason they had dared to stand there and witness the drama was because Lu family was the perpetrator of it.
So, hearing Lu Xian’s words, everyone bid their farewell to the Lu family before quickly dispersing.
’’Ah Xian...’’ Mrs. Lu called out to her son who left right after he finished speaking, without looking back even once.
In the chaos, nobody noticed that a person was leaning against a pillar in the distance with a glass of wine in her hand. Her collarbone was exposed, revealing several garish hickeys that almost seed like bruises and her eyes were sensual. The lower half of her face was covered in a veil.
She giggled softly as she swirled the wine in the glass, ’’Cheers to the chaos,’’ she whispered softly in the air before she turned around and walked away, blending into the darkness of the night.

Ryle did not drive back to the Chen Mansion imdiately.
Daisy had dozed off in the car and even though she did not say anything but he could feel that she was not in the best of moods. Things were bothering her.
And that only made him want to destroy both the Lu and Si family at once. To think that he left barely for a few days but those clowns managed to upset his woman.
Ryle stopped the car in front of a condominium and he glanced at Daisy who was peacefully sleeping in the car. And many black cars stopped behind his car in a queue.
Ryle carefully opened the car door and walked away so as to not wake her up.
After a few minutes when Daisy was stirred awake, she did not find Ryle in the car. Looking at the unfamiliar surroundings, she could not help but frown. However, seeing that she was still sitting inside Ryle’s car, her emotions cald down.
She pulled her phone out but before she could call the man, the door to the passenger seat opened, ’’You’re awake?"
Daisy turned to the side and looked at the man who imdiately raised his hand to stroke her hair, ’’Where were you? What is this place?"
Ryle’s lips curved up in a sly smile, ’’There there, princess. How many questions are you going to ask all at once?"
Daisy blinked.
’’I left to make so arrangents,’’ Ryle said, looking at the black cars that were retreating.
Daisy did not know if it was an illusion but she saw a glimpse of mischief in his eyes. When she followed his gaze, she realized that all their guards that had initially followed them were leaving.
She could not help but look at him, waiting for him to explain.
’’You will like my arrangents,’’ Ryle did not reveal what he was up to but his eyes twinkled when he saw the curious look in her eyes.
Since she had just woken up, her long hair was slightly ss, with strands of hair falling here and there. No matter how he looked at her, she seed adorable.
Ryle could not help but clutch his chest with one hand as he raised the other to pinch her cheeks.
Daisy who got her cheeks pinched out of nowhere looked at him blankly.
Ryle’s heart skipped a beat. He leaned in and kissed on top of her eye, ’’Looking at like that, are you trying to seduce , Miss Chen?" he asked as he slightly pulled back to look at her.
Daisy pushed him away slowly. As she alighted from the car, she looked at their surroundings, the quiet road and lone condominium that was surrounded by trees, ’’What is this place?"
’’I have kidnapped you,’’ Ryle ca to stand behind her as he lowered his head to whisper by her ear, ’’Now you can’t think of escaping.’’
Daisy turned around to look at him, ’’Childish.’’
Seeing the ’do you even dare to kidnap ?’ look on her face, Ryle chuckled and quickly grabbed her hand, intertwining their fingers, ’’Let’s go.’’
The man held her hand and led her inside the condominium. As they stepped inside, she realized that the place that was dimly lit. The condominium was small but luxurious.
’’I got this place a few years ago when I was staying here for a business deal but later, it remained vacant so I mostly stayed in hotels,’’ As he led her to the couch, Ryle spoke, ’’I got this place cleaned in the recent days.’’
The Chen Mansion was good but with the servants and guards that were always third wheeling, he felt like it would be good to steal her away from ti to ti.
As Daisy sat on the couch, Ryle knelt in front of her and removed her heels. Looking at her feet that had turned red, he could not help but frown.
Daisy who was observing the intricate décor of the place gasped when Ryle held her feet and started massaging it gently.
Her toes curled and she retracted her feet imdiately.
Ryle looked up at her but she averted her gaze, not eting his eyes.
His heart was in disarray when he saw her acting like that.
Ryle pushed himself to his feet and sat beside her, ’’Tell what is bothering you,’’ he held her hand.
Daisy felt a lump in her throat when she heard his gentle voice. His other hand was caressing her hair as he looked at her patiently.
’’Daisy, do you want to die?"
Daisy looked up at him when she heard his words.
