Morpheus felt Ember’s emotions strongly—not just through the bond, but through the way her body froze in his arms. Isis’ words had clearly affected her.

He held her closer and said in a low, assuring voice, "Ember, don’t trust anything she says. She’s a wicked woman, and you know it."

Ember didn’t respond, her moist, still-shocked gaze fixed on Draven’s back, asking herself again and again if she was truly the one who had hard him. He hadn’t denied it when Isis claid she was Draven’s murderer. That ant... it was the truth.

At that mont, Draven turned around and looked at her, their gazes finally eting.

He looked at her as if it’s been an eternity since he saw her. And, he was not wrong to feel that way.

It had been truly an eternity since they were separated in the past, when she was still the sa woman he loved the most, even when she stabbed him in his heart.

He missed her.

He had already taken care of the crystal and saved the three realms from destruction. Now, his duty was toward his mate—who didn’t look well at all.

Without consideration for anyone, the great God of War walked toward his mate.

His gaze was solely on her, not leaving hers even for a mont.

When he reached her, Morpheus freed her from his arms, and Draven stepped forward to hold her steady.

"Draven..." his na left her lips like a whisper, as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I made you wait?" he said gently as he pulled her against him and wiped her tears.

She shook her head, unable to speak.

He wrapped her in a soft, protective hug and said, "Just a little more, and we’ll return to our ho. I give you my word—after this, no deity, no demon, no earthling will ever be able to hurt you. Before they try, they’ll already be dead."

She hugged him tightly and let her tears roll against his chest.

All the deities around them watched in silence.

Even in this life, the God of War was still bound to the Deity of Fire. They were inseparable, bound by divine fate and destiny.

anwhile...

Isis, shaken by Draven’s resolute words—and having already lost this battle—let out a bitter laugh that echoed through the Heaven Realm.

She swept her hateful gaze across Evanthe, Ember, and Sierra.

"These powerful goddesses... I got rid of them with so much effort, but they still returned. And once more, all of you deities are siding with them. A re Deity of Desire has no value in your eyes?"

She looked at all the deities in the throne hall, as if each one of them had wronged her deeply—and in her eyes, they all deserved to be destroyed.

"If I was born with strong elental powers like them, I would have been worshiped just like them, instead of being looked down upon by you all. What wrong had I ever done, being born as a Deity of Desire, for you all to consider worse than an ant? You simply worshiped the ones with power—then what wrong have I done to crave it, just to make you all see my existence?

"All I wanted was to show that I am no less, that I am worthy of being the Queen of this realm—and I did. But still, it wasn’t enough for you to recognize . So I decided to rule all three realms alone. To make all of you bow to , accept as your sole Sovereign. I, Deity of Desire—Isis—could be more than just soone worshiped to fulfill your desires."

She looked at Grianor and Drayvor.

"See? I am powerful now. But you won’t let have this hellfire just because you favor her. You deities have always been biased. Only if I had power before..."

"Power cos to those who deserve it," Grianor spoke, his voice calm.

"You are wrong," she said through her greeted teeth, "Power cos to those who desires it. But your bias towards her, won’t give a chance to prove it. I can be the most powerful deity, just because I desire it."

Grainor looked at Drayvor. "Lord of Darkness, what do you think?"

"We should give her a chance to experience what you just told her," Drayvor replied.

Grianor humd and turned to Isis. "As you wish."

Drayvor moved the hellfire surrounded by his darkness. He let it flow slowly toward Isis, keeping it tightly controlled, and said, "If it shows acceptance toward you, Deity Isis, I give you my word—I will use my power to rge it into your core so you can be its owner."

As Drayvor spoke, Isis looked at the hellfire, her eyes glowing with the hunger for power. This was her chance to get hold of what she had craved until this mont—Eternal power.

Deities around them felt a wave of anxiety. If Isis got hold of the hellfire, what would happen to the world? If not for the God of War, she had already been seconds away from destroying the Crystal of Life. What will she do if she posses hellfire?

Ember looked at the hellfire drifting away towards that wicked deity. But she closed her eyes and buried her face in Draven’s chest to avoid the pain of losing it.

"It’s yours and will always remain yours," Draven assured her.

She shook her head lightly, her voice muffled against his chest. "I have you. I need nothing else. I just want to return ho. Our ho. With you and Morph. Having you two is enough... Can you just take back?"

She sounded tired, but it was more than that. She was hurting.

Morpheus, standing beside them, gently caressed the back of her head. "We’ll do as you say."

At the sa ti, the hellfire floated closer to Isis. She began preparing her divine core, channeling her power to receive it. But...

The mont hellfire ca in contact with Isis’ divine power, the hellfire flared in fury—enraged—and repelled her with a force.
