The next morning, everyone arrived at Draven’s palace, where they had to start their plan. This ti, another addition was there with them—Oriana’s father, the previous Demon Lord. Yorian had introduced him to everyone.
Valeron had recognized Draven and Evanthe. Yorian had already explained to him about them, so it didn’t co as a surprise to him.
"If Lord Valeron returned to the Demon realm, can your powers be redeed?" Evanthe asked. If he was a Demon Lord, his original powers must be really sothing that could challenge the Heaven realm.
"It will take ti, as I had lost most of my cultivation during the last battle. The darkness takes a longer ti than the divine power to cultivate," Valeron replied as he looked at Draven—once their enemy.
Draven had nothing to say, as he had no mories, but he could not help but wish for everyone’s powers to return so they could be more powerful against the gods.
"Lord Valeron is aware of the Heaven realm, and his guidance will help us," Yorian comnted. "But before that, he has to return to the Demon realm along with Oriana so he can strengthen his existing powers in the essence of the Demon realm."
"He can go there with Oriana, as we have to create a distraction for the gods when the rest of us enter the Heaven realm," Drayce comnted.
Valeron humd, while Oriana turned to Arlan. "You don’t have to accompany to the Demon realm. You need to save your strength for the Heaven realm."
Everyone agreed to this fact.
Evanthe looked at Oriana. "It would be taxing for you to travel between three realms—first the Demon realm and then teleport us to the Heaven realm. I will try to create a strong potion for you."
Valeron interrupted her worry and said, "Once Esray is in the Demon realm, she can go to the depth of hell and regain her darkness to the full extent to help you go to the Heaven realm. Do not worry about her."
Hearing it, Evanthe felt relieved and heard Valeron again, "There are so relics in the Demon realm that I will send back with Esray. Those relics will help you hide your presence in the Heaven realm when you sneak around. The Demons used them whenever they sneaked into the Heaven realm in the past."
"That would be helpful, Lord Valeron," Evanthe replied.
Oriana finally left for the Demon realm along with Snowflakes. In the Demon realm, Xyron was alerted by Oriana’s arrival, as they had decided beforehand. He knew it was ti to create the disturbances in the Demon realm to help Oriana, and he had already prepared the Demon forces to aid her.
When Oriana arrived in the Demon realm, Xyron was stunned to see soone familiar next to Oriana. It didn’t take him long to recognize the man, and he imdiately fell to his knees. "Demon Lord!"
The other Demons standing around did the sa, still shocked at who they were seeing. First their princess had returned, and now their Lord as well.
"Rise!" Valeron instructed.
As the Demons stood up, Valeron spoke, "We have more important things to do. We can talk about later."
Oriana chid in as she said to all the Demons, "As we have decided before, using Soul Reaver, I will create strong disturbances in the shield around the Demon realm and leave. You all have to continue using your powers for a while to keep shaking the Demon realm."
Everyone agreed to it. Xyron had already decided on the highest peak of the mountain in the Demon realm from where they would be conducting the mission.
Oriana stood at the peak as she looked up toward the sky, the magical shield around the realm visible to her eyes.
She closed her eyes to gather her inner darkness and pointed the sword toward the sky. Soon, the strongest absolute darkness seeped from her body, passed through the sword, and collided with the shield.
There was a loud collision that left the entire Demon realm shaken. The vibrations were so strong that they even reached the other two realms—Heaven and Human realm.
The deities in the Heaven realm once more got alerted with worry. In the Human realm, Arlan and the others realized Oriana had started it already.
At Valeron’s signal, Xyron led all the Demons to use their powers. Valeron asked Oriana to stop after a while, and both of them disappeared from there, leaving everything to Xyron. They would continue to create those vibrations for a while longer.
Valeron and Oriana appeared at the depth of hell, filled with utter darkness—but it was as if that darkness was a part of them.
"Spend so ti here and try to absorb the darkness as much as you can," Valeron instructed her.
Oriana sat on one of the rocks and closed her eyes. She knew she had to make it back quickly and didn’t waste ti. Her body started to absorb the absolute darkness around, while Valeron absorbed so darkness and used his powers to summon the relics he had ntioned before.
After a while, Oriana opened her eyes and said, "Father, I have to leave."
"Would that be enough?" Valeron asked.
"I’m not sure, but they must be waiting for ." Oriana stood up, ready to leave.
Valeron handed her the relics and said, "Make sure to use them when you enter the Heaven realm."
Oriana accepted those dark, stone-looking relics surrounded by darkness and disappeared along with Snowflake.
The day had already passed in the Human realm by the ti Oriana returned. None of the others could wink an eye until she ca back.
The mont Arlan spotted her appear in the garden of the palace, he hugged her. "Are you alright?" He knew she must have spent a lot of her energy in shaking that strong shield made of her own powers.
Oriana nodded as Arlan led her inside. Evanthe offered her a potion, which made Oriana feel better after the teleportation.
"I am fine. We can leave for the Heaven realm," Oriana said with determination.
All of them teleported to the Heaven realm using Snowflake’s teleportation ability under Oriana’s command—the three Dragons, Oriana, Evanthe, and Morpheus. Yorian was left behind to help Aureus look after the kingdom in case sothing happened during their absence.
