Arlan decided to speak to her. "It’s a beautiful waterfall, just like how beautiful you are." His hand caressed her cheek, and she moved her face closer to his, as if seeking sothing more.
He leaned in and whispered against her lips, "I thought I was greedy, but you’re no less. Just made perfectly for ." He captured her lips with his, and she gladly welcod the kiss. He whispered again, "It’s good that you’re a demoness, or I don’t know how I would have ended up hurting you. Only you can bear ."
After a while, when they reluctantly stopped, Arlan spoke, "You haven’t eaten anything in a long ti. I’ll cook sothing for us, but how about we bathe first?"
In response, she took his hand and led him toward the waterfall, saying nothing, but her actions were anything but dull, clearly showed her intentions.
Arlan had heard her speaking in those mories, so why was she silent now? After waking up, she had called his na, which ant she could clearly talk.
They stepped into the water pooled beneath the waterfall. Arlan led her drag towards the depth of it, deep enough to reach just below their chests, with a gentle shower pouring down on them from above.
As they stood in the water facing each other, Arlan’s hand moved to remove her robe. Once it was off, he pushed it aside and looked at his mate, drenched all over, her long black hair clinging to her wet and shiny skin. He must admit, she must be the most beautiful demoness ever existed.
Those who has painted demons as ugly and dark creatures while describig in the ancient books, would feel ashad if they ever see Oriana and would burn all those books, accepting their mistake. But even if she was how they had described, his love for her would be the sa. Her heart was what he desired than her beauty.
His fingers ran through her hair. "Whether red or black, both suit you well." He shifted his gaze to her red eyes. "Do you prefer it like this now? Your previous appearance was like your mother’s. Don’t you like it anymore?"
Her gaze wavered for a mont, but then she leaned in and kissed him, clearly trying to stop him from speaking further. Arlan didn’t press the issue; if she didn’t want to talk about it, he would respect that, at least for now.
Instead, he asked with a playful tone, "Don’t tell you used to bathe here in the past when that golden lotus was floating in the water. That Dragon’s soul could see you, you know?"
Arlan almost ended up imagining if he would have mories of Dragon where he would witness her past self taking a leisurely bath under the waterfall.
Esray shook her head, letting him know she hadn’t bathed there.
He smiled. "Good, then let create so mories of my own with you," he said, before claiming her lips once more. His hands road around the small of her back, beneath the water, pulling her naked form entirely against him. His breathing grew heavy, his intentions clear.
Esray didn’t resist; she surrendered to him easily, showing her own passion toward him. Surrounding of the waterfall echoed with the erotic sounds of the pair of mates being intimate under the waterfall.
After they bathed and dressed, Arlan prepared a al for both of them while Esray went to her pet, who was quietly sitting in her place.
Esray lay down with her back resting against Snowflake’s soft, furry side. In response, Snowflake’s fluffy tail gently wrapped around Esray’s stomach. She caressed the soft tail with her hands and continued to gaze up at the sky.
Busy cooking, once in a while, Arlan would look at her, wondering what was going on in her mind. He found himself relatable to Seren, who had been facing the sa situation for long while dealing with Drayce’s other side which never talked to her. Now he could understand how difficult it must have been for Seren but she found her way out. He hoped he would be able to do the sa with Oriana’s other side.
Once the al was ready, Arlan brought it to her and even prepared sothing for Snowflake as well. Esray ate quietly, and, like Oriana, she seed to cherish the food.
"Is it similar to what you used to eat here in the demon realm?" Arlan asked, hoping to get her to talk.
She didn’t respond, so he tried again. "I cooked many things; which one did you like the most?"
Esray picked up a piece of at from one of the dishes and held it out to him to feed him. "You liked this one the most?" he asked.
She nodded and fed him.
"Then, I’ll make sure to cook for you often," Arlan said.
Once more, there was silence. Arlan decided to try sothing else.
"Esray, you’re always so quiet, but..." he stopped intentionally, prompting her to look at him, eager to hear more. She was just like Oriana, who didn’t like things left unfinished.
"But, you’re so active and demanding when we’re intimate," he said, "Is intimacy the only language you speak?"
She seed taken aback by his words, her fair skin turning a shade of pink blush. She imdiately lowered her gaze and started eating, but Arlan could tell she was just pretending to eat, to hide her shyness.
A shy demoness was a sight to behold.
A light smirk played on his lips as he noticed that he had finally gotten a reaction from this demoness. "Well, not that I mind it. You can be as active and demanding as you want. I’m more than happy to fulfill every single desire of yours."
As he spoke, he thought, ’At least say sothing now.’
But she simply picked up her glass of water and emptied it, avoiding his gaze.
She’s intentionally avoiding talking. What’s on her mind? But now I know how to get a reaction from her.
Once they finished their al, they stood at the highest point of Esray’s residence, which was built on the mountain. Arlan decided to ask an important question. Standing by her side, he held her hand. "Esray, now that you’re back, have you regained all your mories from the past?"
She looked at him, and he asked again, "You must rember everything, right?"
Her red eyes wavered as she looked at him, and then she hugged him instead of answering. She was not only avoiding his question but also the mories of her past. Arlan wrapped his arms around her. "Is it too painful for you to even rember it?"
In response, her hold on him tightened, letting him know that what he said was true.
"If you don’t want to talk about it now, that’s alright. I can wait," he assured her, then added, "But now that you’re alright, I think we should return to the human realm. What do you think?"
She moved her face back and looked at him, as if trying to gauge his emotions.
"Drayce and Draven are both here with us, away from their own mates," Arlan spoke gently. "Ti in the human realm moves faster. It must have been a long ti already, and their mates are likely waiting for them. We shouldn’t keep them apart, just as we two can’t be apart."
In response, she rested her face against his chest and closed her eyes.
Arlan knew he needed to be patient with her. "Are you sleepy?" he asked, noticing the sky growing darker as the day here was short. "You must be tired as well," he said, lifting her in his arms to carry her back to their chamber.
Esray kept her eyes closed, snuggling against his chest. Arlan continued to caress her head, coaxing her to sleep while wondering how his two friends were faring. They must be missing their mates, and he knew he had to do sothing, but it all depended on Esray.
Determined to find a solution the next day, he closed his eyes as well, letting their bodies rest after the intense intimacy they had shared till now.
The next morning, when Arlan woke up, he looked at the woman still snuggled in his arms. To his surprise, her hair was no longer dark but had returned to its original shade of red blond.
Was Esray gone?
"Esray?" he called softly.
She stirred gently in her sleep and opened her eyes, which were no longer red but hazel. "Oriana?" Arlan called softly.
"Are you disappointed to see ? Do you want that demoness back after spending a night with her?"
Hearing the jealousy in her voice, even in her sleepy state, Arlan was entirely sure his Oriana was back. Only she could talk to him this way and be jealous of her own self.
