"What?" she asked. "It’s not appropriate for a lady to et a man before anything is fixed."

"Hmm, you’re right. I will ask Father to talk to them about the engagent between you two so it will be official," Rowan said. He then turned to Euron and Rafal. "Who would co from Aaron’s side as a family to complete the formalities?"

"He has no relatives except for the family of Lord Rainier. We can arrange everything through them," Euron answered.

The mont Erin heard the na, her cold and emotionless gaze flickered, there was a change in her distant and stubborn deanour, but she collected herself quickly, regaining her composure.

Rowan humd, "Lord Rainier? I’ve just heard about him, but it seems like I’ll finally get the chance to et him," Rowan said. "What kind of person is he? I heard he was Erin’s body guard to disguise himself."

Erin didn’t bother looking at her brother and instead served her brothers a tea which Bree had just brought. It was easiest way to avoid talking much.

"You can say all the good qualities of a capable young man, except that he is always detached from others and doesn’t get friendly much," Euron answered.

"Seems like an interesting person to et," Rowan comnted. "Then it’s decided. We’ll go through Lord Rainier since he’s the sole family our sister’s husband has."

"I’m not married yet," Erin comnted as she passed them tea cups.

"With the kind of resolve you have to fulfill our father’s wishes, I’m sure it won’t be long," Rowan countered.

Erin pressed her lips into a thin line, staying quiet for a mont.

"When are they leaving for the northeast?" Rowan asked.

"Tomorrow morning," Rafal answered. "Aaron and Lucian are both leaving together."

"Leaving already? What about our sister eting Aaron?" Rowan asked.

"Aaron needs to settle everything there first and establish himself as a lord. It will take a few months, so we have ti," Euron answered.

"Brother, you don’t have to be in haste," Erin spoke. "Let him take care of his territory first."

Rowan raised an eyebrow. "You’re not married yet, and you’re already worrying about your husband’s work?"

Erin sighed. "Do you have to find a aning in everything?"

"I didn’t find aning in how your eyes filled with stubbornness, flickered and your hands almost trembled at the ntion of Lord Rainier, while you don’t react when we ntion Aaron so many tis," Rowan spoke, his words plunging the room into dead silence.

Erin’s heart skipped a beat. Her entire body froze, her mind felt chaotic, and her hands clutched her dress. Her breath beca shallow as she tried to suppress the flood of emotions she had been holding back for a while now.

Rafal and Euron glared at Rowan, recognizing Erin’s distress.

"Erin?" Rafal called softly, his voice gentle.

She inhaled deeply and looked at Rowan. "I will et Lord Wynter when you arrange it. Now, I am tired. I want to rest." She put the tea cup down and stood up, her voice steady but distant. "Apologies for not accompanying you three for long," and with that, she walked upstairs.

The three brothers could only watch her leave.

Euron stood up. "We need to talk."

The other two followed, and they walked out of their sister’s residence.

Once outside, Euron turned to Rowan, their expressions displeased. "What were you thinking, bringing that up like that?"

Rowan shrugged, though there was a hint of regret in his eyes. "I just wanted to confirm what you told ."

"Wait! What are you two talking about?" Rafal asked.

"What I said to you a few days back in passing," Euron comnted.

"About Erin and Lucian?" Rafal asked, "Wasn’t that just your guess?"

"Doesn’t seem like just a guess now," Rowan comnted, "Our sister has taken liking to Lucian Rainier."

Rafal was shocked. He felt like he didn’t know what was going on with his dear sister. "Then why the marriage arrangent with Aaron?"

"Because Lucian has rejected the marriage proposal," Euron inford.

"He rejected marrying Erin?" Rafal asked in a disbelief like any other brother who would think his sister was the best woman for any man.

Rowan’s gaze turned cold, "He did his thing, but I swear I will make him regret his decision and then make him watch Erin marrying Aaron."

"Calm down," Euron spoke, "Aaron and Lucian are cousins and each other’s only family. We do not have to do this if Erin is marrying into the Wynter family. It would be uncomfortable for Erin and Lucian in the future."

"Uncomfortable only for that Lucian," Rowan gritted his teeth.

"Whatever crap you have in mind, keep it aside Rowan. I will handle everything after this. As your elder brother, I am telling you to keep your calm." Euron always acted calmly, his gaze and words serious, warning his young brother to not create any ss.

"What do you plan to do, Euron?" Rafal asked.

"Before our sister gets married, we need to see if she can stand the weather in northeast. For that we need to send her there first," Euron replied.

The three looked at each other in silence.

"That sounds like a plan," Rowan comnted as wicket smile painted on his lips.

"You are staying away from everything, Rowan," Euron warned.

"Of course. How can I not listen to my elder brother," Rowan replied.

"I will talk to father about it," the three resud walking as Euron continued, "Even if she gets married to Aaron in the end, I am concerned about her health there. I don’t want to what happened with our aunt, Nathan’s mother to happen with our sister."

"That’s another thing to be concerned about," Rafal added. "Erin is not used to living in cold."

"Tomorrow they are leaving. I have to go see Aaron off as Erin’s brother," Euron inford.

"I will co with you. I want to see this Lucian Rainier who broke our sister’s heart," Rowan added.

"Sure."
