"That’s a sha."

Saber sat down on the bench as she stared at the carved wall. It had been weeks since she had carved her ssage, yet no one ca to give her anything.

She was not saddened, after all, she could not feel. The only thing that she felt was her growing desire for modern snacks.

Saber wanted to feel a flicker of emotions towards the group — rage, sorrow, joy. But she could not. In the end, she softly sighed in what could only be described as disappointnt.

"It cannot be helped. There must be other things they need to attend to rather than ."

Saber looked off into the distance for a few monts, shaking her head.

"And here I thought they would be interesting. In the end, humans will be humans..." Saber trailed off.

"I wonder if one day — soone can make human."

Without another word, she walked away from the building. Whatever sll lingered from her last visit to this area had not gone away, but was quite faint now.

It gave her the privilege to explore without limits. Before, she had avoided this area due to the sole fact of this foul scent. It was as if shit and rotten corpses had fused into a form of sludge, attacking her nose.

Now, there was only a faint aura of what slled like rotten green apples, which she did not mind. With this newfound area, she went west, contemplating what she might find.

Many thoughts road around in her head, most of them being food.

But you cannot bla — most of my als are other entities.

To be entirely honest, no one seems to understand what it tastes like. Nor how it feels to eat your own kind. Occasionally, there will be so that taste like a delicacy, but they’re quite hard to find.

This is because they take the form of animals, giving them a tender texture. Other than that, it tastes like you’re eating what you just vomited. Looking back at it, I can understand why so many of them have a...

How do humans say it again? I’m not quite sure. Hmmm? I guess I’ll say they weren’t fond of for now. Ultimately, I think this is why I had such an interest in Simon.

Although, it does feel weird to call Saber myself. Please, do not call that. Even if it is the first section na, I do not enjoy it. It’s like referring to you as "Humanoid," or perhaps a nickna you despise that soone you once loved used to call you.

Ah, my mind is wandering again, isn’t it? Sorry, it tends to happen every now and then. I apologize. Now, where were we? Yes, that is right.

On her journey west, she could hear a low hum coming from sowhere. It wasn’t as if soone was breathing, using a Signature, or anything else. It was oddly chanical.

Following this sound, she was t with a supermarket. This was the sa supermarket that Simon had stayed in, and she noticed the lights were kept on.

Without a second thought, she entered the building. Even if she didn’t take precautions — who was really going to slaughter Saber? The answer is clear: nothing in this world can truly compare to her now at 25% power.

The faint sll was stronger here, but bearable. She noticed the way boxes were discarded and cans of food tossed around.

"Whoever left must’ve been in a rush."

She began to thoroughly search the place, noting that there were three tents set up. Saber checked this one by one, the first one appearing to be Leo’s. There wasn’t much in the tent, just a few items for entertainnt and music players.

The second was Simon’s, whom she was disappointed with. There was not a single thing in this tent besides a jug of water.

"Is this person even human?"

Then, the last tent was Haruto’s. To her surprise, it was surprisingly neat. Of course, like the other tents, there was a sleeping bag, but there were more personal items kept here.

These included a flute, a book, and dicine for what seed like his ears. However, sothing else caught her attention. In the corner of the tent, there was a box signed H.S.

Curiosity getting the better of her, she lifted the lid open, and what she found made her expressionless eyes shine.

"What do Westerns say again?"

The contents of this box were snacks. Soda, chips, gummies, anything Haruto could get his hands on, apparently. It looked like soone other than Saber had a sweet tooth.

"Jackpot."

Everyone’s thoughts had left her mind as she sat down cross-legged and emptied the box. She opened the first bag of potato chips, shoving her entire fist in the bag, then into her mouth.

Biting her hand off, it regrew in just a few monts, and she opened a cherry soda. She gulped it down, not bothering to finish what was already in her mouth.

This continued for everything else that was in the box, crumbs and blood flying across the tent.

"So... Good."

She would occasionally choke, but when this happened, she would reach into her esophagus and shove it down.

The sounds of bone, crispy potatoes, and corn blended into each other, as another noise appeared.

BOOM!

The noise had appeared from the basent of this supermarket, but Saber couldn’t care less.

She continued to eat, even as the sound of footsteps approaching ca into her senses.

Only after hearing the faint sound of the tent unzipping did she stop with her entire fist in her mouth.

Zipppppp!

She turned her head, seeing the old lady again.

"Yew agun?"

Saber bit her hand off again, swiping her spurting arm toward the woman. The crimson blood painted her, Saber shooing her away.

"Shooo! Shoo! Or oul kull yew!"

The woman was persistent, although not saying a word, she stared down at Saber with murderous intent.

"My master says you have to die."

"Okway? Go, kwill sowone wels!"

"No, she wants you. I have to kill you! Or else I’ll die too."

Saber finished the gummies that were in her mouth, throwing her sword directly at the woman with her back turned.

The force was enough to kill a hollow beast by itself. However, when she turned around, the woman was unhard.

"...Could’ve sworn I hit you."
