This was the conversation between Chen Qing and the King of Qin after Chen Qing was replaced, following the King of Qin traversing the Demon Void Realm.
Indeed, upon entering that space, the first person the King of Qin saw was not Ziyue, but Chen Qing...
"Your Majesty, I knew you could make it out because you were unlikely to engage in a life and death battle with your current self, but I knew you wouldn’t just withdraw easily. I’ve been wondering what your backup plan was, and I didn’t expect you to deeply bond with a creature like White Drawing."
At the last mont, White Drawing should have died; the only way the King of Qin could have obtained the abilities was if the two had signed a life-and-death pact. Once White Drawing faced trouble, his abilities would transfer to the King of Qin, who would then be responsible for reviving White Drawing.
"Why wouldn’t you think of that?"
"Because your previous actions made think you had moral standards. You aim for a peaceful world and aspire to create a perfect one. Demon Statues inherently seek to destroy the world. While they can be utilized, sinking into depravity is never an option. It seems now you have gone mad to so extent."
"Moral standards?" The King of Qin, looking at the face that mirrored his own, his expression turning fierce: "I am not you. I haven’t experienced your kind of cruelty. Talking about moral standards while trying to achieve great things, wanting everything – people like you always think too highly."
"What about you, acquiring power at all costs? If you can’t control it and end up transforming into that Demon Statue, what will you think?"
"What will I think?" The King of Qin chuckled: "I’m not like you Reincarnators, protected by fate. If I die, I’ll just end up shredded on the Path of Yin Yang. Besides, if the Demon Statue successfully invades, there wouldn’t even be reincarnation after death. If I lose, everything is lost; if I die, death is all there is. What happens to this world after I die is of no concern to mine."
"I see..." Chen Qing nodded, a typical case of not worrying about the flood after one’s death.
But that actually was normal; such people are the norm. Selfishness... it’s a common flaw among many.
"So why have you sought out now?"

"Collaboration?" Chen Qing frowned. "You and I could collaborate?"
"As long as it brings benefits, does it matter who I cooperate with? Your tone makes it sound like we have deep-seated hatred. Compared to your nearly killing that ti, I’ve been quite nice to you, haven’t I?"
"How have you been nice?"
"When you were in Jiangnan, things weren’t smooth sailing. Your family suffered from four demon attacks; your father died at the hands of a Sea Monster. If not for intervening, your seafaring father would have been consud by other Sea Monsters, wearing your father’s skin to your house and devouring your entire family."
Chen Qing was stunned. Such a thing happened? Really?
"Of course, I saved you because I needed you alive; your survival helped recover my vital energy. It was for mutual benefit then, and it is the sa now. What’s the issue with us collaborating for mutual benefit?"
"Collaborating with you, what’s in it for ?" Chen Qing asked after taking a breath.
"Demon Statue!"
"Demon Statue?"
"You should know, with the Four Saints Array deployed by the Ancient Demon Clan, even the fourth version can’t hold them back, right? The power of the Demon Statue is key for the future, isn’t it? Even if you don’t want its power, don’t you want to eliminate the hidden danger inside Ziyue?"

Four Fiends looked at Chen Qing, truly unexpected because the aura of the two was too real, both intent on putting each other to death. This, it felt, could not be mistaken.

If it devoured her, then it would be reaping a bountiful fruit; but what if it was consud by her?
Theoretically, she couldn’t possibly kill the Four Fiends like the Guard Commander and seize their power, but now she was given a perfect opportunity.
A trendous power instantly enveloped Ziyue. The Demon Statue had a drawback; it liked to transfer power as bait, wanting others to fully absorb it, hence, it tried to tailor the power to the recipient’s constitution. However, the downside of doing so was once it lost control, it would beco the perfect food for the contractor!
Unobstructed, the pale large face visibly lted, terrifying power flowing endlessly into Ziyue’s body.
The King of Qin glanced at Ziyue, who was about to plunder the power of the Four Fiends Totem, showing little concern; instead, his wariness increased when he looked at Chen Qing.
Now that he had mastered the Spatial Art with the power of the Four Fiends, with no side effects, adding on the abilities of the Blood Ancestor and White Drawing, his gains from this journey were unparalleled by any forces, be it the Imperial Court or the Ancient Demon Clan. Should they et again, he would have ample confidence.
But what truly unnerved him was Chen Qing, who seed to desire nothing.
In the original plan, to deceive the Four Fiends, Ziyue had to be used as bait; forming a Ti Stop Magic Array during that phase was impossible, the best strategy was to tinker with Ziyue’s body, causing the other party major damage while absorbing Ziyue, albeit at great risk to her.
Chen Qing refused him and used a new thod.
That was the inexplicable Spatial Array before them!
Probably the Four Fiends didn’t realize before dying what they had fallen into.

"Mutually..." Chen Qing coldly returned, but then added, "Just now, while you were stalling ti with the Four Fiends, you seed very eager to take over my body, it didn’t seem like an act, and I’m curious, is my body really that important to you?"
The King of Qin laughed at this: "You guess?"
