"It’s that person from the project!!"

Soone finally reacted. That person... was the one who, so ti ago, the Central Federation had announced as part of that deadly project.... that so-called individual with the most potential.

Back then, a Huazhong person nad Wu Xiaoli, during the project demonstration, had all the key footage focused on their infiltrated agent, Jiang Xiaoling, while the main character of that operation, the youth nad Chen Qing, appeared only briefly on screen.

And just now.... everyone was shocked by the power of the man in white and didn’t realize at the ti, this was the person from the project.

No wonder they didn’t recognize him at first.

To many white people, mbers of the Yellow Race all look the sa, not to ntion these Yellow Race individuals in ancient attire, most of whom like wearing white clothes, appearing almost identical to one another, of course... except for the beauties.

"What Mr. Cady ans is...."

"That person is not within their control!" Cady judged definitively, "You all must be aware of how many resources the Central Federation has spent on maintaining that project. If they could control that person alone, they wouldn’t need to cooperate with us at all; they would have already begun using the power from that world to attack us."

"But they haven’t. I had espionage reports earlier claiming that the Central Federation learned from past lessons and installed decomposition programs in the players who entered later. It is said that twenty years ago, there was a massive invasion by an individual codenad Number One, who almost completed the mission. But an accident at the last mont led to the failure of that operation. After twenty years, the old guy Zhang Zhengyuan felt he could not hold on much longer and thus took the risk of launching a second one."

The other people nodded in agreent upon hearing this. Zhang Zhengyuan was known for his bold moves, authority, and capability to do such things, and the Central Federation would probably acquiesce, not just because of the temptation of eternal life in cycles within that world but also due to the current dire situation.

The top-tier masters of the Central Federation were dying one after another, and now Zhang Zhengyuan was the only one holding on.

In contrast, on the Western Camp side, whether it be the Duchess or Stall, both were in their pri.

They had at least a hundred years left to live, enough ti for the Western Camp to slowly sche against the Central Federation. The intense crisis could also lead them to take risky actions.

"The reason I believe that the cessation of Huaxi Pass this ti is because I judged Zhang Zhengyuan would take those risky actions, and sothing unexpected happened. It was very logical, but I must say their setup was too realistic and too ruthless. Just the internal turmoil alone may have cost hundreds of thousands of lives. Who could have thought it would be a show?"

"Despicable Huazhong people!" Countless mbers of the parliant were filled with righteous indignation once again.

"However, I still feel that they haven’t fully grasped that project," Cady remarked, "The information on Chen Qing had already been leaked by spies; he was not any of the players that the Central Federation had ever planned, but a person whose origins are still unclear. So say he is Pu YunChuan, the original designer of the Demonic World; so believe it might be a conspiracy of ancient players from the ga while others say, it was a mysterious high-level figure from within the Central Federation who secretly sent the person in."

"No one has figured it out yet, so I deduce that there’s no decomposition program on that person; the Central Federation’s noble houses simply can’t control him!"

"Since he can’t be controlled, there must be sothing that compels him to serve them," Cady added. "General David ntioned a detail earlier, that is, the guy only killed top-tier fighters and didn’t even show interest in taking down high-ranking officers like them."

Cady looked at everyone and said, "Actually, if he had simply eliminated all the high-ranking officers on the spot, our people wouldn’t even have been able to retreat; a complete rout would have been possible. But by sparing those officers, he allowed the possibility of a retreat from the battle. This, I believe, is sothing the other side is well aware of, but he still didn’t do it. What do you think is the reason?"

Most of the parliantarians present were seasoned politicians; how could they not think of it?

Soone quickly caught on, "You an to say, Mr. Cady, that person... doesn’t want the Central Federation to dominate alone?"

Cady imdiately smiled, "Exactly, he doesn’t trust those noble houses of the Central Federation. As a powerhouse from within the ga, he has a fatal weakness — the ga could be shut down by external forces at any ti, which is the deadliest threat to him."

"The Central Federation has always been strong-willed and rarely willing to tolerate an uncontrollable force; their desire for control is very strong, which is the source of the conflict. That person is smart; he knows that the Central Federation must have competitors, and that those noble houses must feel the external threat before they have any reservations about shutting down the ga. That’s the reason he held back. So I’m quite certain that his agreent with the Central Federation does not include swallowing us up!"

All the parliantarians suddenly realized this, nodding their heads in understanding.

"If this is the case, should we attempt to contact this powerhouse?"

"What will you use to contact them?" Cady gave the interlocutor a disdainful glance: "The other party is from the East, naturally siding with the Easterners. Do you think he would help you? Keeping us around is only to balance out those noble houses, not to cooperate with you. Not to ntion that we can’t reach out now, even if you did, would they care?"

The ridiculed parliantarian’s face turned red with embarrassnt.

"So, what should we do now?"

"Issue a surrender declaration imdiately, without any hesitation!" Cady commanded sternly: "Don’t entertain any illusions, thinking that by resisting a bit longer and draining the Central Federation’s resources, they might demand less at the negotiation table. They are eager for you to keep resisting, to keep fighting!"

"If I’m not mistaken, the Central Federation’s agreent with that person is to help them clear away top-tier fighters they can’t deal with, as long as we keep resisting, the other side must keep eliminating our top-tier fighters, as per the agreent. The longer you hold out, the more people die, and if possible, the Central Federation would even wish Chen Qing would wipe out all our top-tier personnel!"

-------------------------------

"A declaration of surrender?"

Almost the mont the counterattack horn had just sounded and the Central Federation’s troops had not yet reached the enemy’s front line, all four Federations, without any dignity, issued their declaration of surrender.

At this mont, whether it was the netizens of the Central Federation or those of the other Federations, all were stunned!

"Oh my God, what happened? Is it because of the beer I just had? Am I dreaming?"

A potbellied white man’s huge beer mug fell from his hand as he stared blankly at the latest news. All the white people in the pub were incredulous, as they had just been betting on which Federation’s heroes would be more nurous, and whether Zhang Zhengyuan would die at the hands of Stall or the Duchess.

But no one could have foreseen this outco!

The four Federations, having amassed a million-strong force and gathered almost half of the top-tier fighters from the four Virtual Realms, had lasted not even half a day before surrendering?

What a joke!!
