The gas between humans are often very complex, involving both overt and covert strategies, analysis of trends and deceptions, and the evaluation of a person’s tactics can be multi-faceted. Yet, in the face of natural creatures’ fights for survival, strength and the ability to react on the spot decide everything.

Fei Fu Ma was an impressive figure, able to endure in silence for twenty years without giving himself away, concealing his strength even under the watchful eyes of soone like Siao Mingyue, and seizing the chance to turn the tables at the critical mont. By any asure, he was an extrely formidable character. But now, he really wasn’t as clever as the giant octopus before him...

Countless tentacles covered the sky, rendering his normally reliable Southern Clear Li Fire completely useless. His firepower was limited, whereas the opponent’s flesh seed infinite. Why hadn’t he anticipated that the enemy would employ such a thod to evade his flas?

What to do? What should he do?

Clearly, the opponent wasn’t going to give him ti to think. The surging tentacles, like a storm, indicated that the Heavenly Ghost Octopus knew very well that by swallowing him, it would have no natural enemies left!

"No!!"

Once again, flas erupted into the sky as Fei Fu Ma wrapped his body with fire, attempting to escape, but the enemy had already arranged everything. How could they let him get away?

After forcibly bursting through a portion of the fleshy sea with his flas, Fei Fu Ma discovered to his despair that countless tentacles, unknowingly, had surrounded him from all sides. He looked back at Weichi Feihong, who was smirking. Had that guy realized this from the beginning?

Had he lost his mind?

"If I die, Chen Qing will be next!" Fei Fu Ma roared vehently.

Weichi Feihong didn’t bother responding directly. He dared to do this because he had absolute confidence in Chen Qing. He believed that as long as Chen Qing had enough ti, no matter how terrifying the giant octopus beca, he would definitely find a solution!

"It’s in your hands now... My lord!"

In a blur, Weichi Feihong felt a gentle flow of water wrap around him, a faint smile of relief erging on his lips, but he was too exhausted to even open his eyes.

Murong, on the other hand, was astonished by the sight before her.

Clad in dragon-scale golden armor, wielding a trident that shone with a cold light, and with three thousand strands of hair freely floating about—in that instant, she sensed what it was to be the once-preeminent War God of the West Sea.

"He has a good subordinate," Ao Zhen said softly, looking at the bloody and mangled Weichi Feihong.

At this mont, Weichi, almost reduced to a pulp and wrapped in Ao Zhen’s Water Elent power, had injuries so severe that she didn’t know how he had held on until then.

Murong remained silent. Princess Bai Yu once said that Weichi Feihong had a Steel Bone Physique and a will as unyielding as steel, an outstanding man among n. She had looked down on him in the past, thinking she was mistaken.

"You all seem to have a lot of trust in Chen Qing," Ao Zhen remarked, looking at the sky filled with fleshy tentacles and sighed, "You seem to think that as long as he has ti, he can solve any problem."

"Because that is exactly how he has always perford," Murong Yunji replied seriously. "I am not his subordinate, but since the day I t him, I have never seen anything that has stumped him, not even once. No matter how troubleso I thought the situation was, it always got resolved in his hands, so I think Weichi Feihong thought the sa!"

"Is that so?" Ao Zhen chuckled, "That does sound like a reliable man, although this ti it might be a bit doubtful."

Murong frowned and followed Ao Zhen’s gaze. She was about to argue, but then she was taken aback...

Because Chen Qing was gone!!

The crystal that had sealed Chen Qing, along with Chen Qing himself, had disappeared without a trace.

"Where is he?"

"He’s been taken away..."

"By whom??"

"I don’t know..." Ao Zhen shook her head. "He was gone by the ti I awoke. I think it wasn’t him who disappeared on his own. After all, his subordinates are in a life-or-death situation. If it weren’t for my tily intervention, there would probably be nothing left but a pile of mush."

"How could this happen?" Murong Yunji turned sharply to look at the nearby Yaksha, which was just as confused.

It had been concentrating on the battle ahead and hadn’t expected Chen Qing to be taken away.

Moreover, the individual who had taken Chen Qing was probably no ordinary person. Their Yaksha clan was naturally endowed with vigilant senses, with sll and instinct virtually unmatched in the seas, but for soone to silently take Chen Qing away without them noticing, that individual must be incredibly powerful!

Hearing this, Murong Yunji was completely dumbfounded. Weichi Feihong had risked his life to buy ti, but now that ti had been bought, Chen Qing was nowhere to be found.

"What do we do now?" The Yaksha also seed uncertain.

"Follow the original plan!" Murong gritted her teeth.

"Oh?" Ao Zhen watched Murong Yunji with interest. "Are you sure?"

"I don’t know what accident Chen Qing has encountered, but I know that as long as we stick to his plan, we will definitely be right!"

"Really?" Ao Zhen nodded, "If that’s the case, then follow up!"

As soon as her voice fell, Ao Zhen transford into a streak of white light leading the way, her trident swinging with a blade’s edge dense like a storm, directly shredding countless tentacles in front of her!

Murong frowned, about to remind the other party that the Heavenly Ghost Octopus could regenerate, but the next mont, she saw that the severed chunks of flesh were instantly frozen. It was clear that those frozen chunks were struggling to regenerate, but under the power of the ice, it was obviously very difficult.

Maybe this couldn’t stop them, but clearly, Ao Zhen’s approach had slowed down the enemy’s regeneration speed.

Murong’s pupils contracted, truly worthy of being a True Dragon from the West Sea, far more experienced than Fei Fu Ma, who had just beco a dragon.

"Let’s go!"

Ao Zhen quickly made her way, maintaining an offensive while also moving at an impressive speed, making Murong feel nearly unable to keep up even with the use of divine wind to the extre.

Looking back, Ao Zhen gave a slight nod to Murong. A re mortal limited to the Transcendent Threshold actually managed to use the divine wind technique to such an extent; the potential of the Human Race was indeed not to be underestimated.

Back when the Dragon Palace initiated the Dragon Transformation Channel, recruiting nurous human elites to serve the palace was also a crucial factor in its dominance in the latter ancient tis.

But who knows what the fate of the Dragon Palace would be now that the ancient era had been restarted?

Aoow!!

From a distance, a heaven-shattering draconic roar resounded, clearly signaling that Fei Fu Ma had reached his limit!

"Save !"

Without looking back, Ao Zhen thought how a man who only looked out for himself deserved a slightly cheaper death, but it was still acceptable.

She rembered that the Heavenly Ghost Octopus needed to digest higher life forms four tis over, using acidic fluid to dissolve scales, muscles, then bones, cycling in its stomach four tis until the bone marrow softened. Only then would it start to penetrate the spine with stomach spikes to absorb the spinal fluid, an excruciatingly painful process that ensured its prey couldn’t die easily.

The feeling of being slowly digested was utterly despairing.

If it were up to her, she couldn’t co up with a second thod that was more torturous. After all, she wasn’t too grim when it ca to torturing others.

Boom!!

Very suddenly, an extrely dazzling red light erupted at the center, the spreading flas making Ao Zhen, who had already left a distance of ten thousand zhang, squint.

"What is that?" Murong and the Yaksha both widened their eyes and looked back, a fear from the depths of their souls spontaneously arising!

Just as Murong thought to look back, she was stopped by Ao Zhen: "You better not look back!"

Hearing the warning, Murong felt her restless mind freeze, and hastily asked, "Do you know what it is?"

"Red Lotus Karma Fire, one of the most terrifying flas in the world!" Ao Zhen continued forward as she spoke with an icy voice, "Fueled by life, it will burn eternally in this world, never ceasing!"

"Is that the Red Lotus Karma Fire?" Yaksha cried out in horror, "Your Highness, shouldn’t we... stop it?"

Yaksha didn’t know much, but had also heard that this thing was dreadfully dangerous; once it ignited, there was no way to extinguish it, a cursed fla that wouldn’t stop until it burned all living creatures into ashes.

"There’s no need to stop it..." Ao Zhen said coldly, "The monster will naturally stop it."

"The monster?" Murong Yunji wanted to look back but forcefully restrained herself, "How will it stop it?"

"It will stop the Red Lotus Karma Fire the sa way it would stop Southern Clear Li Fire!" Ao Zhen sneered, "Both are flas, do you think there’s much difference? Its tentacles, which can sever themselves and strictly follow the orders of the main brain, will simply detach at the contact with the Red Lotus Karma Fire and then swim to the bottom of the sea where there are no living creatures, do you think the monster didn’t sense the seed of Red Lotus Karma Fire on that guy?"

"What a fool... Although the Red Lotus Karma Fire is terrifying, if such a thing were truly silent and stealthy, how could it have remained sealed until today? Didn’t you feel it just now? As soon as it revealed itself, that sense of vigilance, wasn’t it ingrained in your bones?"

Murong and the Yaksha both nodded; they hadn’t looked back, yet they could feel that indescribable fear.

"The Heavenly Ghost Octopus is no different. Despite its ostensibly foolish appearance, it is a cunning predator that detected the fire from the start. That’s why it deliberately retreated during our first encounter, in order to make the opponent let their guard down. If the opponent had stayed in the sky, not entering the sea, and wielded the fla of Red Lotus, perhaps there would have been so chance. But once they entered its encirclent, the fire seed brought within had no chance to ignite again."

At this point, Ao Zhen laughed and added, "I wonder who is behind him, being involved with such an ill-fated fellow is really tragic."

Murong: "...."

"Then Your Highness, where are we heading now?"

"Following Chen Qing’s plan..." Ao Zhen sneered, "We’ll go and find my dear father!"
