Captulo 1730: Chapter 131: Finally Rembered You!

In the final scene, ‘Jing’ saw Jason.

He didn’t know how Jason had returned to the Lower City District and appeared beside ‘the old man’, Lauren Delder.

These were unimportant.

What mattered was that Jason succeeded.

"Maybe…”

‘Jing’ thought of sothing, and the smile on his lips beca more joyful.

The more Jason acted mysteriously and powerfully, the more advantageous it was for him.

After all, his enemies weren’t limited to ‘Yao’ alone!

In fact, in a certain sense, he never took ‘Yao’ seriously.

From the beginning, he never faced ‘Yao’.

Everything was just for this mont’s plan.

The car went faster.

The driver was a contractor he previously arranged, and for him, this kind of Planner wasn’t just the one from the cetery.

He had many.

Although for confidentiality, they were all inconspicuous, but at critical monts, such inconspicuous people were exactly the most useful.

Screech!

Amid the sound of tires screeching against the ground, with the sll of burnt rubber, ‘Jing’ pushed the car door and got out.

A bit shaky.

The elderly appearance was not an illusion.

It was real.

If one wants to give, there needs to be a return.

‘Jing’ was well aware of this.

In front of the car, there was a small alley.

At this mont, two people stood there, a Secret Magic Array had already been ticulously drawn on the ground.

"Master!”

Seeing ‘Jing’, the two bowed in salute.

Then, quickly retrieved jars of fresh blood and hearts from hidden corners.

The blood and hearts were warm.

Their origins were self-evident.

On regular days, Uptown was peaceful, not to ntion murder cases, even theft cases were absent—at least on the surface, those taken away by the Enforcers in secret weren’t included.

However, with the monster invasion, everything changed.

With the assumption that even the ‘Council’ had been ‘breached’, the Enforcers and military were overwheld.

Don’t ntion one or two deaths.

Even if hundreds or thousands died, at this mont, no one would notice.

Thirty-three hearts were arranged in an orderly fashion.

Jar after jar of blood began to be poured over them.

‘Jing’ chanted the incantation quietly.

Two minutes later, a three-ter-high light gate appeared.

Similar to the Transmission Gate appearing at the ‘Council’, just much smaller.

Knights clad in black armor rode through.

They ignored ‘Jing’ and turned to reinforce the ‘Transmission Gate’, and expanded it.

‘Jing’ then turned and got in the car with his two subordinates, and the driver imdiately started the car, heading toward the next destination.

Through the car window, ‘Jing’ could clearly see that a layer of illusion began to shroud around that ‘Transmission Gate’, unless one approached, it was impossible to tell there was a ‘Transmission Gate’ here.

"The first one!”

‘Jing’ thought silently.

At this mont, it was the most critical step in his plan.

As for the ‘Council’s Transmission Gate?

That was rely the beginning.

A man who seed to have given up everything, in exchange for a life-risking strike.

Actually?

The man indeed risked his life.

But,

Not just one strike.

"The real show is just beginning.”

‘Jing’ chuckled lightly.

Gasp, gasp.

‘Yao’ gasped heavily.

He looked at the three Shadowy Knights before him, his eyes slightly narrowed.

Out of the total twelve Shadowy Knights, only three remained at this ti, the remaining nine had been completely taken down by him just monts earlier.

Of course, to ensure a swift fight, ‘Yao’ not only depleted his Physical Strength greatly, but his hands also suffered nurous injuries, at least his secret technique couldn’t be used easily at this mont.

Within the crimson gate, the monsters grew fewer and fewer.

Victory was within reach.

But, a tinge of unease lingered in ‘Yao’s heart.

Was ‘Jing’s plan this simple?

Or accurately, did ‘Jing’ sacrifice his life, yet only exchanged for twelve Shadowy Knights and so monsters?

Regarding the monsters entrenched within District 30, ‘Yao’, as one of the twelve councilors, naturally was quite knowledgeable.

The remnants from the previous war weren’t just this level of strength.

Even the sudden outbreak just now was less than a tenth.

"Only knight level, no lord level has appeared…”

"This doesn’t make any sense!”

"If I faced such a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity, I would definitely make every effort and stake everything to open the situation completely!”

"Could it be?!”

‘Yao’ thought of sothing.

But at this mont he couldn’t afford to think about these.

The three Shadowy Knights launched another charge.

Still as fiercely determined.

Still as overwhelmingly aggressive.

‘Yao’ dodged nimbly, like the wind on a mountaintop, seemingly intending to beco invisible, easily weaving back and forth between the three Shadowy Knights, while stirring up a formidable invisible force.

Mountaintop wind, intangible.

Yet, possessing imnse Strength.

When this Strength gathered, it was enough to produce a force that could throw a person.

The force ‘Yao’ generated exceeded such power by far.

Crunch!

The imnse force acted on the three Shadowy Knights, and the sturdy armor instantly emitted a sound of compression.

In an instant, the three Shadowy Knights, along with their horses, were compressed into ‘a piece’.

Like an aluminum can crushed underfoot.

But, ‘Yao’ didn’t feel a trace of joy.

He looked pale as he gazed at his pierced chest.

Although he managed to dodge the opponent’s fatal strike to the heart at a critical mont, such a piercing chest wound still left this newly-appointed ‘Councilor’ in extre pain.
