Captulo 1718: Chapter 125: The Continuation of Change! (Part 2)

Facing the skeletons that had already co up, little He Le quickly crawled into her parents’ bedroom.

Then, she shut the door and locked it.

Bang!

The sound of a longsword hacking at the door reverberated.

She could even feel the door tremble.

She knew this door couldn’t hold them off for long.

So, she quickly lit the kerosene lamp in her parents’ bedroom.

The fla could kill such monsters.

Having just confird this, little He Le picked up the kerosene lamp, standing behind the door, in a spot unreachable by the sword, patiently awaiting the mont when the skeletons would break through.

The wailing sounds continuously ca from outside the window.

The window, which relied only on a latch without a locking pin, shook violently as the gale intensified.

Bean-sized raindrops pelted against the window with a patter.

Little He Le didn’t know what was happening.

But she knew that such monsters were outside as well.

These monsters had not only invaded her ho but also those of others.

Bang!

A hacking sound was heard again.

The flimsy bedroom door finally shattered.

The door fra could still hold sowhat, but the door panel had splintered.

The skeleton twisted its form, squeezing through like that.

Then, it was fiercely struck by the kerosene lamp.

Easier than before.

The narrow corridor limited the already non-agile skeleton, allowing little He Le to hit it in one strike.

Flas swiftly spread.

The door fra caught fire too.

The skeleton rapidly turned to ashes.

And an abrupt notebook appeared amid the ashes.

Little He Le looked at this thin notebook, hesitantly extending her hand.

"Hahaha!”

"Burn!”

"Perish!”

"You shall be the perfect accompanint to my becoming the ‘Bone Desecrator’!”

Delinke laughed wildly in the storm.

He could distinctly sense that he was almost successful.

Though there were so hindrances, the undead he contracted had dealt with those patrollers.

Of course, the contracted undead were also completely lost.

But, that didn’t matter!

How could two contracted undead compare to a level five ‘Tomb Guardian’ ascension?

The latter was a hundred tis more important than the forr!

The fierce flas burned evermore, and even the downpour couldn’t extinguish such a blaze, with cries of death incessantly intermingled, bloodshed pervading the entire seaside. 𝙧ἈΝ𝘰𝐛ÊŚ

Soon enough, a poorly defended city, devoid of any real ‘Mystical Side individuals’, fell entirely in this man-made disaster.

Feeling that the requirents were t.

Delinke acted without hesitation.

"Ascend to ‘Bone Desecrator’!”

At the sa ti—

A mysterious piece of information appeared in his heart.

Delinke had just completed his ascension, not truly feeling the joy yet, stunned on the spot.

The source point changed!

‘Tomb Guardian’ changed!

The profession underwent earth-shattering transformation!

That brand-new title.

Entirely different ascension conditions.

Left Delinke at a loss.

And likewise, with so anger. .

"Is this kind of ‘Tomb Guardian’ still a ‘Tomb Guardian’?”

He growled lowly.

"So this is the ‘Tomb Guardian’!”

Picking up the brand-new ‘Tomb Guardian’s Evidence’, little He Le instantly understood a lot.

Then, she clutched this ‘Tomb Guardian’s Evidence’ tightly.

Because she knew, this was her only trump card to avenge her parents, brother, and sister.

The flas grew bigger.

Little He Le exerted all her strength to drag her parents’ bodies; on the first floor, she saw her brother’s and sister’s bodies.

Skeletons showed no rcy.

The undead harbored hatred towards the living.

Only slaughter.

No distinction of age.

Family corpses were taken by He Le into the cellar.

When closing the cellar, little He Le looked up at the already completely engulfed second floor.

She wanted to imprint everything into her mind.

Then…

She was going to find that bastard who took her parents and siblings to take revenge.

She wanted to make the other party pay in blood.

Bang!

The cellar was shut.

Little He Le silently stayed by her parents’ and siblings’ bodies, quietly waiting for rescue.

And Delinke, who completed the ‘Bone Desecrator’ ascension, didn’t stay long either.

Though most of the patroller force was dispatched, such events at the seaside would still attract quite a hassle, not sothing he wanted to encounter without being at full strength.

Rescue ca quickly.

In fact, it arrived after just an hour.

"Damn ‘Tomb Guardian’!”

After a simple investigation, the leader of the patrollers cursed.

As a professional, he didn’t need to ask much to understand what happened.

In fact, every year, every country.

Guarded against such occurrences.

Yet, they were always caught off guard.

"Extinguish the fire, rescue people.”

"Collect data.”

"Then, put a warrant out for this bastard!”

The captain shouted.

The patrol team swung into action.

Young Xile was rescued. Faced with comfort, her precocious nature kept her from crying out; she rely stroked the new ‘Gravekeeper’s Certificate’ pressed against her heart.

"My lord, please bless !”

She prayed silently.

And then—

"Okay.”

A voice resonated from the void.

This was rare.

Or rather…

It had never happened with any other ‘source points.’

Because, this ‘source point’ didn’t care about exhausting the so-called power accumulated from ‘source points.’

However, such a response was indeed cumberso.

As if forty or fifty people were talking to you, speaking all at once.

Jason couldn’t help but rub his brows.

Prayers continued nonstop in his ears.

Having just made changes to the ‘Tomb Guardian,’ Jason had to respond to each one.

He hoped the new ‘Tomb Guardian’ would quickly get on track.

After responding again and again.

"Matthew, do you have sweets?”

"I think I need to make myself a bit happier now.”

Jason called out.

At the sa ti, his brow furrowed slightly.

Because he could sense a more pure power erging within him.

Very rare.

Yet,

Incredibly pure.

Sourced from ‘source points.’

Yet different from the power of ‘source points.’

It seed…

More advanced?

Jason was a bit unsure.

Then, his gaze fell on the ‘Knight’ and ‘Assassin’ before him.

Indeed.

The two ‘source points’ hadn’t left.

In fact, after Jason suddenly left, these two sat waiting for him to return.

Moreover, their conversation was calm and peaceful.

Even, quite friendly.

Not a hint of so-called ‘ideological discord.’

The friendliness of ‘Knight’ and ‘Assassin’?

This felt odd to Jason.

But he didn’t dwell on it; he only wanted to see if the two could detect that sudden power within him—not within his stomach, but in the deepest part of his heart.

That point!

A point so minute it couldn’t be described!

Unfortunately, to Jason’s disappointnt, the two ‘source points’ showed no reaction.

"Haven’t been back for a long ti.”

"Tert is getting more and more prosperous.”

The ‘Knight’ sighed.

"I hope for more books, preferably novels—you know, after that bastard’s death, books beca my only joy in my castle.”

The ‘Assassin’ sighed.

"You can maintain weapons, or raise horses.”

"Or simply raise a hunting dog.”

"All are good choices.”

The ‘Knight’ advised.

"No, I prefer being alone.”

The ‘Assassin’ shook his head.

Then, these two ‘source points,’ as if no one else were present, simultaneously turned their heads to look at Jason.

"Jason, do you have any hobbies?”

"It’s not playing cards and charming female magicians, right?”

The ‘Knight’ asked frankly.

Jason shook his head decisively.

"No.”

"My hobby is: eating!”

"Delicious food always brings joy!”

Jason answered without hesitation.

"Food, huh?”

"A good choice.”

The ‘Knight’ and ‘Assassin’ nodded, then the two ‘source points’ extended a warm invitation.

"If there’s a chance, I’ll go.”

Jason replied.

Then, the two ‘source points’ got up and took their leave.

Just as suddenly as they had appeared, they departed equally abruptly.

And with a sense of nonchalance.

Completely indifferent to others.

For example: those hiding in their rooms, like Luodeni, Matthew.

They were slightly better to Taniel.

But there was still a deep estrangent.

"Not considering themselves as human!”

Jason touched his chin, then smiled wryly.

Others are others.

He is him.

He always firmly believed he was human.

The best evidence is—

He eats supper.

And he eats two tis.
