Captulo 1715: Chapter 124: Quiet Changes

North Suburbs of Tert.

Compared to the bustling and vibrant downtown, the suburbs were naturally much more declined.

Especially the relatively backward northern suburbs.

The people gathered here are basically not locals of Tert, but those who ca with the dream of striking it rich, failed, and are unwilling to leave.

One could say it’s a gathering place for failures.

Of course, there are also so special groups mixed in.

You could say it’s a mixed bag.

Therefore, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ set up his coffin here.

Compared to a half-baked guy like Tercon, the ‘Tomb Guardian’s resurrection was masterful.

A mont ago, he perished in the ‘nuclear leveling’.

The next mont, he was resurrected here.

Moreover, he didn’t need to read a diary to revive his mory.

He possessed complete mories.

Because of these complete mories, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ beca even more resentful.

Damn it!

Bastard!

Arrrgghhh!

In the basent, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ scread in fury.

He was truly enraged.

Although he didn’t die, it would take over a decade to recover, not to ntion he lost one of his trump cards.

The core that constructed his ‘little world’ was gone.

Although his ‘little world’ was sowhat of a pseudo-thing, the ‘essence of the Hydra’ was real!

And now?

Gone!

"Jason!”

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ gritted his teeth and squeezed the na out from between his teeth.

The hatred in his eyes was almost tangible.

Malice and murderous intent boiled over.

However, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ did not act rashly.

He understood Jason’s power.

Such power was beyond his imagination.

Even beyond his understanding.

When he thought of the explosive power of that dazzling brilliance, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ shivered involuntarily.

"How can he be this strong?”

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ was puzzled.

He had investigated Jason’s strength — during the battle in the Imperial Palace, he had caught a glimpse, and his understanding of Jason was limited to the ‘five-colored brilliance’ being very strong and Jason being very fast. ȓἈꞐ∅BĘṠ

But that ‘five-colored brilliance’, although strong, was in a one-on-one scenario!

What about him?

He had tens of thousands of undead ready at his command.

And in such numbers, Jason’s speed would be useless.

To know, many of his undead were more adept at speed and were more bizarre.

However…

Everything crumbled to ashes under Jason’s single punch.

The brilliance of that punch was terrifying.

The impact was terrifying.

The explosion was terrifying.

More terrifyingly, it completely restrained him.

His abilities, his undead, were utterly countered by that single punch.

This was sothing the ‘Tomb Guardian’ could not accept no matter what.

Similarly, it convinced the ‘Tomb Guardian’ to resolve not to appear before Jason again until he found a way to counter him.

As for being taken down by a ‘Knight’ or an ‘assassin’?

He had anticipated that.

After all, he wasn’t really dead.

"Just wait!”

"If ten years don’t suffice, then a century!”

"If a century doesn’t suffice, then a thousand years!”

"I will definitely find a way to break your move!”

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ muttered to himself.

There was no trace of dispiritedness in his words, only boundless confidence.

Before becoming the ‘Source,’ he had failed more than once.

Several tis had been worse than now.

Although this was the first such failure since becoming the ‘Source’.

But what did that matter?

He was still the ‘Tomb Guardian’!

Still the ‘Source’ of all Tomb Guardians!

With the passage of ti, he would recover slowly, then stand at the peak once more.

In this, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ had no doubt.

So, when he turned and saw Jason, he was instantly frozen in place.

"How are you here?!”

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ exclaid in surprise.

This was supposed to be his secret hideout.

Perfectly disguised.

In terms of hiding techniques, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ was quite knowledgeable, after all, in his younger days, he’d done too many unscrupulous things, always getting hunted down, accumulating hundreds of years of practical experience.

So, he considered himself unfindable.

After all, this place was not only hidden, but also had nothing of value.

No valuable items ant no pursuit.

And no attention.

He could hide smoothly.

But,

Jason appeared before him just like that.

No!

This can’t be!

I must turn the tables!

At least stabilize Jason!

Thinking this, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ imdiately spoke —

"I…”

Whoosh!

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ had said just one word when a silver slash swept through his body.

The corpse fell to the ground, split in two, and flas spurted from Jason’s palm.

In a breath, the corpse turned to ashes.

After completing all this, Jason’s nostrils flared again.

He again caught the sll of the ‘Hydra’s fractured essence.’

"Still in Tert?”

Jason was surprised.

Then, he transford into light and vanished from the spot.

"Arrggghhh!”

"Damn Jason!”

Once again resurrected, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ roared in anger.

He couldn’t understand why Jason could still find him, despite his perfect hiding.

A leak?

Impossible!

That hidden refuge was arranged by him personally.

No one else knew.

Where did he leave a trace?

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ pondered.

He recalled everything since eting Jason, but found nothing.

Finally, the ‘Tomb Guardian’ shook his head.

"Maybe Jason was just lucky?”

"Happened to be nearby and noticed my revival aura?”

The ‘Tomb Guardian’ thought of a non-answer answer.
