A year passed.

I was walking down the street when I saw a farr milking a cow.

And that was it. With that, my day was ruined.

Or rather, not ruined—quite the opposite. I was already practically drooling involuntarily. I stopped, looked at the stream of milk, at the bucket, at the cow... and my legs carried

closer on their own.

"Uh... old man farr," I said, "could you spare so milk?"

He turned around, looked at

in surprise, then smiled.

"Yes, of course, Master. Why wouldn't I."

He handed

the bucket.

I didn't even wait. I brought it to my lips. The milk touched my tongue.

And that was it. The world disappeared.

"O-o-oh..." was all that escaped . "It's been so long since I've tasted this..."

Such a taste.

I imdiately drank the whole bucket to the bottom.

Then I looked at the farr.

"I want more."

He was a little taken aback.

"Uh... we have so, I'll bring it to you right now."

"I'll help you, man," I said.

We went to his place. He had a cellar. And there stood a whole barrel of milk.

I looked at it with almost tenderness.

Because of this, I was half an hour late for the lesson.

The students were already training without , and I walked into the hall with a glass bottle of milk in my hand.

"Hic. Hello, students," I said. "Today I'm in a good mood."

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

They turned to . Soone wasn't even surprised.

"We noticed," one of them said. "You are in a good mood every day."

I looked at him, then raised the bottle and drank almost half.

"Students, today your task is..."

I raised the bottle again and finished it to the end. Looked at the empty glass.

"Damn. The milk is gone. Mood ruined."

The class imdiately tensed up.

"I will throw various attacks at you, and you defend yourselves."

"But you just said you were in a good mood!"

"Not anymore," I answered.

I started launching spheres. Small, fast, bouncy. They bounced off the walls, changed trajectory, flew back, hit the stone again, and returned again. Faster every ti.

At first, there were only a few. Then more. Then half the hall was already packed with these spheres.

Now fifty of them were flying around the room.

The students tried to dodge at first, then quickly realized it was useless and started putting up barriers.

One of them built a good barrier. I imdiately increased the pressure so that he would be working at his limit.

"Co on," I murmured. "Don't fall apart."

He gritted his teeth. The barrier trembled, crackled, but held.

I lazily watched this, sitting in the air.

"Damn, I want milk," I said.

And created another fifty spheres. The class's mood died completely.

"Oh," I said. "And so you don't relax, keep moving too. The rules are: to win, you have to high-five ."

After that, I lay back entirely lazily in the air and began to slowly drift around the hall, looking at their tornt.

In theory, they should be able to handle it. If they can't—it ans they're weak. If they can—it ans I can increase it next ti.

I was already almost dozing off when a ball of water suddenly flew into my palm.

Splash.

I opened one eye. A senior girl was standing in front of .

"I high-fived you," she said. "You didn't specify with what."

I looked at her for a few seconds. Then I snapped my fingers. All my spheres imdiately fell to the floor and disappeared.

"Yeah," I admitted. "That was stupid of ."

The students started breathing heavily; soone imdiately sat right on the stones, soone leaned against the wall. The girl looked pleased with herself.

I looked at everyone and said cheerfully:

"Then in the next lesson I'll make two hundred spheres. And my hand will dodge."

Their faces imdiately soured.

"Teacher..."

"No 'teacher'," I waved it off. "Learn to think ahead. That was actually the main lesson."

I stood up, stretched, and went ho. In my hands, I had a new bucket of milk. On the way, I drank almost all of it.

When I returned, Alastia imdiately noticed the bucket. And she also noticed how quickly it was emptying.

She didn't say anything at first. Just sat and watched.

I drank everything to the last drop and only then looked at her.

Alastia propped her cheek on her hand and pronounced calmly:

"I wonder how this will turn out."

I wiped my mouth with my sleeve.

"It won't."

She raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Really?"

"Of course."

"Uh-huh."

"What do you an, 'uh-huh'?"

"Nothing," she said. "It's just that right now you look like a person who has already made a bad decision, but hasn't realized it yet."

"That's slander."

She quietly chuckled and looked at the empty bucket again.

And for so reason, I was already starting to think about where to get more tomorrow.
