Clara Bennett was pregnant when she died, about to give birth.

In the middle of the night, she unexpectedly caught her husband, Samuel Grant, in an affair with her friend Daisy Stone.

While chasing after them, she accidentally fell down the stairs.

The bright red blood quickly stained the white carpet.

She clutched her stomach tightly, her face distorted in pain, shouting loudly, "Samuel Grant, call 911, save ..."

The good husband, praised by everyone on ordinary days, now stood high above with icy eyes.

"Clara Bennett, do you think I would let you two live?"

"This is your own flesh and blood!"

Before Samuel Grant could respond, Daisy Stone leaned against him, displaying a smug expression, and said, "Your child isn’t even Samuel’s. On the wedding night, after you got drunk, I found a thug to be with you. At that ti, Samuel was in my bed."

Upon hearing this, Clara Bennett was completely stunned, nearly collapsing.

"You’re lying! Samuel wouldn’t treat like that."

They started dating a year after they t, and two years later, when they graduated from college, Samuel Grant proposed to her, and everything naturally followed from there.

In their married life, he was all obedient to her, treating her like a treasured jewel.

But the look in Daisy Stone’s eyes was full of sarcasm, as if she were looking at a pathetic creature.

"Samuel, this fool actually believes you love her! Doesn’t she know emotions can be faked?"

Then Samuel Grant held Daisy Stone’s waist and gave her a deep kiss on the lips, making it sickening.

"If she weren’t so foolish, how would she have been chosen as our plaything? It’s been exhausting putting on a show with her all these years!" Samuel said coldly.

"Impossible, I don’t believe it..."

Clara Bennett shook her head wildly, tears streaming uncontrollably down her face.

More painful than any injury was hearing such words from the person she loved most.

The physical condition worsened after the shock, with blood still flowing abundantly, the abdominal pain severe.

"Samuel, don’t deceive , please?"

In her heart, she refused to believe that four years of love was just an act.

Yet, reality is always cruel. Samuel Grant released Daisy Stone and slowly walked toward her.

As if seeing the last glimr of hope, Clara Bennett desperately grabbed his pant leg, pain causing her teeth to chatter, and cold sweat to drip from her forehead.

"I’m begging you, I really can’t hold on any longer, please call an ambulance..."

"Roaming around in the dead of night. Originally, I planned to drive you out after you gave birth to this bastard. Hmph, since it’s already been discovered, I have no choice but to send both you and the child to death!"

As he spoke these words, the knife in his hand cut through her abdon’s skin.

A harrowing scream pierced the entire villa.

Then he cruelly ripped the child from her abdon alive and threw it forcefully on the ground.

Blood splattered onto Samuel Grant’s face, and now he looked like a demon from hell.

"Ah!! Why are you treating like this..."

He seized her slender neck, "Do you rember how you disdained back then? Saying I wasn’t even qualified to carry your shoes."

"Just to bring you down from the heights, I’ve played along in this drama with you all these years."

"Gotta thank you for giving the chance to beco the Grant Family’s heir. Once you’re dead, I get everything that’s yours."

"One more thing I forgot to ntion... Your father’s car accident was also my doing; the brake line was cut. As for your mother, I personally disconnected the oxygen tube, sending her on her way."

"Samuel Grant, I despise you! Even as a ghost, I won’t let you have an easy ti..."

Clara Bennett’s eyes wide open, filled with blood, as her breath gradually ceased, her body slowly turning cold, rigid.

Can’t die content!

...

Wall Street, Yland.

Atop a tall building.

A man was sitting at a desk, dressed in a well-fitted bespoke suit, exuding an extraordinary aura with every gesture.

Illuminated by the golden light outside the window, the man’s facial contours beca even more defined, sharp and powerful like a sculpture.

"Boss Foster, we’ve found the woman from the trap incident nine months ago, but..."

The assistant hurriedly entered, placing a docunt on the desk, hesitation evident in their tone.

Looking at the woman in the photo: oval face, arched eyebrows, delicate nose, beautiful appearance, hair tied in a high ponytail. Her face sparked a mory, and a brief shock flashed across his face.

"Where is she?"

Upon hearing this, the man’s gaze imdiately beca deep and heavy, suppressing his inner turmoil as he asked.

"Last night, at ho, she died from excessive bleeding during childbirth... They say it was ’one corpse, two lives.’

The assistant finished these words with trepidation.

The whole office beca suddenly terrifyingly silent.

William Foster’s expression was extrely grim, face muscles taut.

"Investigate every single detail imdiately! If she was truly murdered, I’ll make the perpetrator pay!"

...

"Clara, once I officially beco a mber of the Grant Family, let’s get engaged!"

The man beside her spoke softly. Clara Bennett slowly turned her head to see his face clearly, and intense hatred surged in her eyes.

Fate played an imnse trick on her, actually giving her the chance to return to when Samuel Grant had not yet been recognized by the Grant family.

In the previous life, she hid it from her father, Thomas Bennett, giving the Grant Family billions in assets for nothing, helping this man gain recognition and beco the heir of the family business.

After the engagent, Samuel Grant, with the help of the Bennett family, quickly rose in the business world!

The once controversial illegitimate child suddenly beca an object of admiration.

At this mont, footsteps were heard from the stairs, a middle-aged man supporting an elderly gentleman who appeared rather dignified slowly descended.

Upon seeing their arrival, Samuel Grant imdiately stood up, appearing sowhat flustered and uneasy as he greeted them, "Sir Grant, Grant..."

But Clara Bennett remained absolutely still, rembering that this day was the one in which she was going back to Samuel Grant’s hotown formally to join the family register and, at the sa ti, hand over hundreds of billions of assets for him to manage, in front of his whole family.

The old man looked over and, seeing Clara Bennett, smiled kindly.

"Miss Bennett, did you bring the docunts?"

Clara Bennett clenched the purse in her hand tightly, her nails nearly piercing the skin.

"Upon reflection, I think this investnt is not worthwhile! The Grant Family’s affairs are really none of my business."

Just because she was rich and foolish, did it an she had to stupidly support soone like Samuel Grant, a renegade?

After finishing these words, regardless of how the others’ faces looked, she swiftly turned to leave.

"Clara, stop right there!"

Samuel Grant quickly caught up with her, grabbing her wrist, an unpleasant expression on his face, "What do you an? Wasn’t it all settled?"

"What?"

Clara Bennett flung him off, glaring at the nauseating face in front of her.
