The king and his mother were shocked they did not expect to hear such words from Anastasia .

"What do you an?" King Edward frown deepen.

"Your majesty, we got married because of this late king’s request. Your majesty does not like , I do not dare to ask for your majesty favor, but I can not allow a mistress to step alover . Since his majesty wants to protect his love, I will give way. My Duke residence is not very influencial anyway, my mother is already dead, so his majesty can deovice without worrying," Anastasia said. Her voice was calm.

Mary looked at her surprised after all, she had thought that Anastasia was too kind for her own good.

"Is that what want?" King Edward asked.

"When has his majesty care about what I want. There is evidence of sothing been wrong with the prescription but his majesty still wish to cover up for his mistress.

As a physician how can she not know that those two herbs had conflicting properties. Even if she did not deliberately harm , she must have not taken care of the prescription properly. Mary was surprised to hear that her son had never shared a bed with Anastasia. What surprised her more was that Anastasia said it without sha. She felt that perhpars this daughter in-law of hers was not a push over like she had imagined.

King Edward also felt uncomfortable when she ntioned it. Although he did not love her, he should fulfill his duty as her husband.

Moreover he did not expect her to say it out that they have never shared a bed. Usually a wife was blad for not being able to please her husband but in Anastasia’s mouth it sounded like he was the obsessed with his mistress and failing in his duty as her husband.

King Edward looked at Anastasia and saw her calm gaze knew she was not worried he would agree to this divorce. He hated that she dared to threaten him but he did not really dare divorce her now.

He turned to look at his mother hoping that she would say sothing but Mary pursed her lips. After listening to what Anastasia said, she also suspect her son was making excuses to save his mistress.

If she knew she was not competent to be a physician why did she dare take the offer.

Moreso, Physician Nathan had just said he explained each herbs and the effects. Now she began to suspect Dorothy to be a spy sent to her son again.

King Edward and Mary were shocked by this answer after all, Anastasia was usually gentle.

"She is carrying a royal blood, she can not be killed," king Edward said.

"She can die after giving birth, I just need the king to give his words," Anastasia answered. Of course she knew the king would not agree to kill Dorothy.

King Edward looked not knowing what to say, indeed her cri of hurtung Anastasia is punishable by death but he could not want to kill her. He kept feeling like sothing about the case was not right.

"Son, the Queen is right, if you let her go after committing such a cri then others would beco bold," Mary said.

"Mother, Dorothy saved my life, she would be punished but I want to take a chance to investigate. This matter is not clear, if she is guilty I will not let her go," King Edward said after so thought.

"Your majesty, I can agree that she did not deliberate harm , but she is still guilty of carelessness and should be punished," Anastasia insist. If she did not have a nightmare she would have believed the king’s empty words.

King Edward looked not knowing what to say.

"Send her out of the palace, when she gives birth to the child, hand the child over to the queen to care for," Mary said. After carefully thinking about the situation she was a bit worried about Anastasia not being able to give birth in the future. So she hoped to use the opportunity to solve future problems.

King Edward and Anastasia spoke at the sa ti.

Mary pursed her lips, she was not angry with Anastasia’s actions. After all, she understood that everyone was thinking of what benefits them the most.

Anastasia looked at him not hiding the dissatisfaction in her gaze. "She would not be recognized my official mistress. She will be confined to her quarters before she gives birth," he added.

"Alright, I thank your grace for standing up for . I am in poor health and have to go to bed on ti," Anastasia said. From the beginning she just wanted to send Dorothy away. Now that her goal was achieved she decided to leave. There were still seven months before the child is born. As long as Dorothy was not officially recognized as the king’s mistress, no one would look down on her for not being able to keep her husband.
