"I have asked and found out from the soldiers that the Crown Prince brought n to search for the Princess. Apparently, the box the Princess was bringing to the Prince was discovered," Gavin, who had been paying attention to the situation, ca back to report to his captain.

Eldric, upon hearing this, lowered his head. "Let’s find the Crown Prince. We have to report my kidnapping. Those two n were also looking for the Princess. I am guessing they realized they kidnapped the wrong person back then," Eldric said. He knew that if he remained in hiding, he would only create more problems for himself. Until the Princess was found, he did not dare tell the truth; after all, it could cost him his head. The two made up their minds and decided to find the Crown Prince.

After following the lead, they soon arrived at the young man’s house.

"Commander," the soldiers outside recognized Eldric as he walked over. He had been missing for four days. These n did not know what had happened to him.

The Commander had left the camp, dropping a ssage that the Assistant Commander should take charge. It was said that the Commander had sent a small portion of the supplies by road, and it had encountered a bit of a challenge, so he had gone to sort it out.

Then the news of the King’s death had arrived shortly after he left. The next day, they heard that their soldiers had suffered a defeat, and they were called upon for backup at the military camp. No news had been heard of the Commander, and now, seeing him looking sick, they were curious about the situation.

"I am here to seek an audience with His Highness, the Prince," Eldric said.

"You will have to wait a bit. The Princess was found unconscious by the owner of this house, and His Highness must be busy," the soldier said, sharing the news with a smile. After all, they had failed to protect the Princess previously. Now that she was found, he felt they could finally rest a little easier.

Eldric was shocked to hear this news. Now he was not sure what to say to the Prince.

After all, the Princess had been found. He was unsure what they would even talk about and what should be left out.

"How is the Princess’s condition?" Gavin asked.

"Well..." the soldier was about to answer when the soldiers inside, accompanied by the Crown Prince, ca outside.

"Your Highness," they all bowed.

The young man who owned the house lent them his carriage. Although it was not as comfortable as a noble’s carriage, it was enough to transport Anastasia to the military camp.

The Crown Prince carried Anastasia into the carriage. After laying her properly on the temporary bed prepared for her, he had the old physician accompany the team back to the camp.

It was already evening, and it would take all night to travel to the military camp, as they could not ride as fast as they had co.

Eldric then reported about his encounter with the Gube spy. "I heard you went to sort the issue with the supply?" Prince Edward asked. Since the last attack on their supply, he had paid special attention to it.

"Yes, your higness," Eldric answered m

"So, have you sorted it out?" Prince Edward asked. After all, giving the situation of things the war might still go on for a while. Those supply was not only good but dical herbs. The soilders could not fight on empty stomach and no matter how skilled the physician was he could not treat the patients without herbs.

"Not yet your higness..." Eldric answered m

"So, you are not sure if the situation of that batch of supplies?" The prince frown.

"Your higness, since the people of Gube seems to be after our supply, I had my subordinate disguise as Marchant guards to transport the supply over. One of the caravan at Lowe pass check points contained the supply. I was going to speak to the captain in charge of the check point when I was kidnapped by those spies. It was fortunate that my subordinate noticed sothing was wrong with those n and managed to save ," Eldric said. He then guesture for Gavin to speak about the condition of the supply.

"Your highness, I have received a ssage from my second that the supply are safe at the check points but those two spies seems to know a lot out the situation of Lowe pass. If there are not captured soon I fear they might have a map to trespass into our border shortly," Gavin said.

The Prince also understood this, so imdiately sent a ssage to the soldiers at the checkpoints, instructing them to spread out and find those spies. In truth, the checkpoints had been established to find the Princess and her kidnappers. Now, hearing about Eldric’s encounter, the Prince grew even more anxious to find those n. He had a feeling they might even have the missing seal.

As for the group with them, twenty n were sent to the pass to accompany the supply back. "You said they asked about the princess?" After he finished making arrangents to find the spies he asked Eldric.

"Yes," Eldric answered. He was feeling complicated about where or not he should tell the prince the truth but he stopped asking any questions.

Prince Edward on the other hand was thinking about the entire conversation in his head. He felt that’s his dedication was very close to the truth. Anastasia must have been among one of those caravan, she managed to ecape those n. Perhaps while the kidnappers were looking for her, they ran into Eldric. Knowing that he was the commander in charge of the supply, they thought he might have helped Anastasia hide. "If this is true, then why did they believe his nonsense about the princess being in Wiwell?" Prince Edward felt that the situation was not adding up.

Unless, the princess did not escape towards Lowe at first, they thought she was heading to the royal city. If that is the case, how did the princess appear in forest and that box? No matter how much the prince thought about it, he could not figure anything out.

He looked at the slow moving carriage and instructed that they moved a bit faster. He could not wait for Anastasia to wake up so he could ask questions.

When they arrived at the military camp, it was already the early hours of the next day.

The royal physicians were already waiting at the tent that had been prepared for Anastasia because the Prince had sent a few n ahead to deliver the ssage.

Prince Edward carried Anastasia out of the carriage and hurried towards the tent.

The noise was a bit loud, and everyone around the camp, particularly the dical camp woke up.

Rosa had been unable to eat or sleep since the previous day, worried sick about Anastasia’s safety.

As soon as she heard that the n who had left with the Prince were back, she hurried outside.

Dorothy, who shared a tent with her, felt a bit annoyed by the noise. She did not care much about the Princess’s situation, but she wanted to keep up appearances, so she also followed Rosa outside.

Seeing the Crown Prince carrying a woman, Dorothy’s gaze turned dark. Her heart felt deeply uncomfortable.

She knew that if the situation were reversed, the Prince would never carry her in front of so many people.

After a mont of jealousy, she ca back to her senses and followed Rosa towards the tent.

Dorothy and Rosa reached the tent but were not allowed to enter.

"I am Her Highness’s personal maid," Rosa introduced herself, worriedly.

Seeing Anastasia carried back had filled her heart with both relief and anxiety.

"The physician needs to check Her Highness’s condition. Wait by the side," the guard instructed, not letting her inside.

"Let go in. I might be of help. The Princess was not in good health. As Her Highness’s personal physician, I might be of so assistance," Dorothy said.

Hearing this, the guards allowed her inside.

Rosa wanted to stop Dorothy from going in, as she did not trust her but she did not know what to say.

So she could only watch helplessly as Dorothy made her way inside.

Inside the tent, the royal physician had just finished checking Anastasia and listened to the old physician explain her condition and the treatnt thods he had applied.

"How is she?" the Crown Prince asked.

"Your Highness, after checking her condition, she seems stable. It’s strange that she is still unconscious," the royal physician frowned.

In fact, Anastasia could be said to be rely sleeping. But if it was just sleep, why was she not waking up?

"Is there a thod to wake her up?" the Prince frowned. It was taking too much ti already.

"No. We will have to let her wake up on her own. I am afraid that if we force her to wake, she might fall into a daze and be unable to rember many things," the royal physician answered.

When the Prince heard this, he frowned.

If Anastasia woke up but could not rember many things, it would not benefit him at all.

"How long do we need to wait?" he asked after a short silence.

The royal physician looked at Anastasia.

She might wake up at any mont, given her body’s condition but it might also take a day or more. He was uncertain.
