Qian Jiangn, Chen Yanhong, and You Shan all wore expressions as dark as thunder.

They had been betrayed.

Wangchuan had pinpointed their location with terrifying precision and brought so many n that the entire inn was sealed tight as a drum.

“Damn it!”

“This is bad.”

“Should we log out?”

Chen Yanhong’s face was pale. Outside the window, more than a hundred bows were drawn and aid, ready to fire. At any mont, they could be turned into pincushions.

Qian Jiangn felt a flicker of regret.

He finally understood why Chief Zhou had urgently called the three of them.

Chief Zhou must have caught wind of sothing.

But now—

“Three counts!”

“If you do not co out, kill without rcy.”

Under the torchlight, Wangchuan’s face was stern, his words rciless as he began counting.

Creak, creak!

Hunting bows tightened to full draw, the sound of straining bowstrings snapping taut against the silence. Every nerve was stretched to its limit.

In the end, Qian Jiangn did not dare to fight against Wangchuan’s assembled force. He flipped out of the window first.

“You win.”

“We admit defeat.”

Chen Yanhong and You Shan followed one after another, tossing their Hundredfold Steel weapons down symbolically.

Clang!

The weapons struck the ground.

The three adopted harmless postures and walked toward Wangchuan, only to be stopped by Chen Ergou and Wang Yuehui.

Inner disciples surrounded them on all sides, blades and bows pointed at their throats.

None of them dared make a move.

Qian Jiangn called out to Wangchuan, “We have thrown down our weapons. What are you still afraid of?”

Wangchuan stared at the three with cold intensity. His gaze settled on Qian Jiangn.

“The two who died by my hand yesterday—were they mbers of your second land-clearing team?”

“That is right!”

Qian Jiangn stiffened his neck and t Wangchuan’s eyes without blinking, his voice icy.

“Thanks to you, their families are completely ruined.”

Wangchuan’s gaze did not soften.

“Our Warring States Ga Studio lost the leader of our gold-farming team. He died on the spot. What do you say to that?”

“…”

Qian Jiangn’s lips moved, but no words ca.

Behind him, Chen Yanhong lifted her chin.

“We did not know at the ti! But our people already told you who they were—”

“Did you not say you did not know?”

Wangchuan’s voice carried a trace of ridicule.

Chen Yanhong fell silent instantly.

“Those who kill shall be killed in turn!”

“You dared to infiltrate my Yulong Gang and coordinate inside and out to strike at my hall. Then you had better be prepared to die yourselves!”

The mont those words left his mouth, the killing intent in Wangchuan’s eyes surged unchecked.

Dozens of bows locked onto the three, lethal force poised to erupt.

The trio’s expressions changed drastically.

Only now did they truly understand—they stood on the brink of annihilation.

“Wangchuan!”

“We can talk this through!”

You Shan panicked.

All three instinctively took a step back. Not a single Yulong Gang disciple showed the slightest intention of pleading for them.

Every inner disciple’s eyes blazed with murderous resolve.

“It is a misunderstanding!”

“We will leave right now—”

Wangchuan shook his head.

From the mont they chose to collude with the Five Poison Sect to assassinate him, he had already decided to show no rcy.

“Loose!”

At his command—

Whoosh! Whoosh!

A rain of arrows burst from the rooftops, streaking downward in a lethal storm.

“Break through!”

Qian Jiangn roared and lunged forward alongside Chen Yanhong, targeting Wangchuan directly.

You Shan’s skin flushed into a faint bronze sheen. He activated his protective body technique, intending to withstand a volley of arrows.

Unfortunately—

They did not know that every Yulong Gang disciple had co ard with Armor-Piercing Arrows.

With

1 armor-piercing properties, the arrows shattered his protective technique instantly.

You Shan was turned into a hedgehog on the spot.

Wang Yuehui stepped forward, saber flashing coldly. One strike forced Qian Jiangn and Chen Yanhong back.

Only then did they realize that beside Wangchuan stood a First-Rank martial artist.

A muffled grunt escaped their throats as they were wounded—

Then ca successive impacts from behind, followed by piercing agony.

They looked down.

Bloody Armor-Piercing Arrows had burst through their chests.

Qian Jiangn and Chen Yanhong were shot dead on the spot, following You Shan into oblivion.

One First-Rank martial artist.

Two official martial artists.

They fell in a pool of blood before Sihai Inn, their eyes open in disbelief even in death.

The battle was over.

Wangchuan stepped past Wang Yuehui, bent down, and searched the bodies of the three, retrieving a money pouch from each chest.

He straightened and ordered calmly,

“All of you—return to the hall!”

Tonight’s danger had not yet passed.

According to Black Panther Studio’s plan, the Five Poison Sect’s true target was the Yulong Gang’s Huishui County hall.

The Five Poison Sect had not arrived yet.

These three had only been lurking vermin. Removing them rely cleared the underbrush.

The real storm was still coming.

The Yulong Gang disciples moved swiftly, taking away the three corpses and collecting every arrow from the ground. Within monts, they had returned to the hall and sealed the gates.

The docks fell silent once more.

“Ahhh!!!”

“I will kill him!”

“He dared to kill !”

Qian Jiangn jolted out of the ga, his mind still trapped in the black-and-white void of death. Terror, rage, despair, and regret overwheld him. Without thinking, he flung open his room door.

Soone was already waiting.

The instant he stepped out, an iron-like arm clamped around his throat.

It was the captain of the first land-clearing team.

Qu Gongcheng, a peak Second-Rank martial artist, expressionless as he lifted Qian Jiangn into the air. Qian Jiangn’s legs thrashed helplessly against his unmoving body.

“Captain Qu…”

All the blood drained from Qian Jiangn’s face.

“No!”

“I do not want to die!”

“Chief Zhou, save ! I cannot die!”

Only now did he notice Zhou Tianqi standing behind Qu Gongcheng.

Zhou Tianqi adjusted his gold-rimd glasses and raised his eyelids indifferently.

“I intended to save you. But you refused to answer your phones. You sealed your own escape.”

In an instant, tears and snot stread down Qian Jiangn’s face.

“I do not want to die! I was wrong! Please, do not kill —”

“Too late.”

A complicated expression flickered in Zhou Tianqi’s eyes.

“Under your leadership, our second land-clearing team was wiped out entirely. Do you know how long it takes to rebuild a team? How many resources it costs? You fool—you deserve to die.”

As the final word fell, Qu Gongcheng’s fingers tightened.

Crack!

The crisp snap of bone echoed in the corridor. Qian Jiangn’s head twisted at an unnatural angle.

He went limp.

At that very mont, a nearby door opened slightly.

A pair of eyes stared blankly for half a second—

Then, bang! The door slamd shut.

The sound of shattering glass followed imdiately.

Qu Gongcheng reacted instantly.

He rushed forward and kicked the heavy security door inward. It flew more than ten ters across the room.

Inside, Zhou Tianqi and Qu Gongcheng saw Chen Yanhong standing before a shattered tempered-glass window. The back of her hand was torn and bleeding. Neon lights shimred beyond. Wind howled through the broken fra, whipping her hair wildly around her pale, hopeless face.

When she saw them burst in, she said nothing.

She leapt.

Her figure was swallowed by the night.

Like a heavy object, she plumted from dozens of stories high.

Zhou Tianqi’s eyes burned with fury. His voice was ice.

“There is one more.”

“You Shan.”
