Obito swiftly dealt with the enemies behind him.

It was probably the guy who earlier remarked about the "bitter" taste.
Taiseki raised his head, his gaze hardening as his expression turned serious. He locked onto the Konoha ninja. "Even though I warned myself to stay vigilant, I didn't expect this... I still underestimated you!"

He never could have imagined such a strategy.
Though it was foul, he had to admit—it was an astonishing tactic.
With a heavy tone, he continued, "Konoha genius, Hatake Kakashi!" He paused between each word before adding, "And..."
For so reason, he hesitated, pausing for about ten seconds.
"... Konoha's pervert, Uchiha Obito!"

Obito's proud smirk froze. He stared at the Iwa ninja, wide-eyed.
"Damn it! Who are you calling a pervert?!"

Without the Sharingan, the speed brought by Lightning Release chakra made it impossible for him to track his enemies accurately, forcing him to attack blindly.
Obito, on the other hand, combined his three-tomoe Sharingan with Uchiha clan taijutsu, allowing him to precisely locate their opponents.

Their movents shone like glimrs of light as they dove into the fray, resembling fierce wolves.

Obito glared at the now-lifeless Iwa ninja on the ground, spitting angrily. "Who are you calling a pervert?"

It was ti to break through.
They had succeeded!
Obito couldn't help but glance back at Kakashi, and at that exact mont—Kakashi also turned to look at Obito.
The two locked eyes and, in an instant, broke into triumphant laughter.
"Hahaha!"

She realized she'd been forgotten again.
She glanced dejectedly at the two boys.

Since when did Kakashi look at Obito more often than at her?

Obito's three-tomoe Sharingan reacted first. His face hardened as he made a split-second decision. Without hesitation, he pushed Kakashi and Rin out of harm's way.

Both Kakashi and Rin's expressions shifted.
Crash!
The boulder slamd straight down.
The two looked at the massive rock with grief, but before long, Kakashi stood up resolutely, wiping his eyes. His expression grew firm as he reached out to Rin.
They had to break through.
They couldn't linger any longer.
They couldn't waste the chance Obito had given them.
But then—
A figure—
A figure suddenly erged from the rock.
"Obito?!" x2
The two turned in shock to see Obito standing there, unhard.
"You..."
"???"
Obito himself was utterly baffled.
How did the boulder... passed right through him?
But now wasn't the ti to dwell on it. Without hesitation, he hurled a fistful of leftovers at the shocked Iwa ninja's face.
Bastard! He faked his death to ambush us?!
Then, exchanging a quick glance with Kakashi, they both nodded.
Retreat!
Without hesitation, they grabbed Rin and bolted toward Konoha.

"So that brat actually survived on his own."
"A little unexpected, huh?"
"What kind of ability was that? A space-ti ninjutsu?"
"Whoa, that's so cool!"
"Forget it. Let's just report this to Madara-sama."
"Actually, I feel like... that Kakashi seems to matter more to Obito than anyone else. Didn't you see? The first thing he did was check on Kakashi."
