[V2] - 95. Dr. Yuto, The Uchiha’s Psychologist
---
He hadn’t expected that after returning, he would actually be resurrected—and co back with anger.
As he stepped into the forr base, Madara’s face imdiately filled with mixed emotions. After all, this was the place where he had barely clung to life after being betrayed by everyone.
How long had he lived here?
A very, very long ti.
Even he had forgotten.
Touching the stone walls marked with scratches, he saw nails still stuck in them... the place where that bunch of idiots used to hang banners. Madara glanced over, the corner of his mouth twitching, then looked away.
He turned his head to observe other areas.
That massive stone bench... the place where the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path once stood, and the wall where his equipnt used to hang...
But now, everything was empty.
"Madara! Looks like they’ve already pulled out!" At this mont, Senju Hashirama also grew serious, observing everything around as if trying to gather useful information. "It seems like those guys might’ve guessed that you figured sothing out and would definitely co for them, so they evacuated in advance!"
This ti, he followed Madara not just because the village didn’t feel at ease leaving Madara alone, but also to gather intel for himself. After all, such a terrifying conspiracy still existed in the ninja world—
And even Madara had been deceived.
Which just showed—
How terrifying it must be!
However...
It looked like they had arrived a bit too late.
Just then—
"Huh?!"
Hashirama seed to have discovered sothing, which imdiately drew Madara’s attention. He turned his head suspiciously and looked at the figure crouched in the corner, frowning. "What is it? Did you find sothing? Could it be you know where those idiots hid?"
As the words fell—
Hashirama nodded seriously. "I did find sothing!"
"???"
Just as Madara looked over in confusion and irritation—
He saw—
Hashirama still wearing a serious expression, raising his right hand, and between his fingers... was a small thing, already turning black and starting to rot. "This is it!"
Now Madara was even more curious. He glanced over, furrowed his brow, and thought for a mont. "What the hell is that?"
"A bone!"
"A bone?!"
"That’s right! A bone!"
"If it’s a bone... then it can’t belong to Black Zetsu or White Zetsu." Madara eyed the tiny, pinky-sized broken piece and started analyzing, "Which ans soone else found this place before us and arrived earlier—only to be eliminated by Black Zetsu’s group. To be shattered this thoroughly... looks like explosive tags were used!"
However—
Just as he finished speaking—
Hashirama stared blankly at him and shook his head. "No~"
"??? I analyzed it wrong?!"
Madara was also stunned.
He—was actually wrong in front of this guy Hashirama?
No!
Impossible!
It must be Hashirama talking nonsense!
Just as he was about to retort—
"This isn’t a human bone~!" Hashirama shook his head with a serious face, then brought the bone close to his nose and sniffed. "This is a piece of chicken bone! Judging by the sll, it was probably from Yuto Milk Tea shop’s fried chicken! I’ve had quite a bit recently—I couldn’t possibly mistake this flavor, marinated deep into the bone!"
"..."
Chicken bone?!
Then what the hell are you talking about?!
Madara stared at Hashirama, who even looked like he wanted to lick the thing, with black lines on his face. He imdiately used a Wind Release to grind the chicken bone into dust. "Why even report such useless intel?!"
He’d even been misled because of it!
However—
Upon hearing Madara’s words, Hashirama still shook his head seriously. "This isn’t useless intel!"
"What? You planning to taste that bone or what?"
"No, no~ Madara, listen to !" Hashirama helplessly looked at the annoyed Madara and continued, "According to my deduction, this bone is no more than a month old—probably between ten to fifteen days. Which ans, those guys likely evacuated only ten days ago." His eyes glead with wisdom as he smiled at Madara. "And based on what I’ve found around us, there are traces on the ground where several tables had been placed—so before leaving... they probably held a banquet here!"
"..."
What the hell!
Even at a ti like that, those idiots were still having a feast?!
Hearing Hashirama’s analysis, Madara’s face turned green, then white—though... the suddenly high-IQ Hashirama didn’t notice at all and remained deep in thought, muttering to himself, "But why would they be having a banquet now? And even order fried chicken from Yuto Milk Tea shop. Madara, didn’t you say those guys didn’t need to eat or drink? How strange! Could it be they had sothing to celebrate? Or was it just so fried chicken while they gathered for a eting together?"
As he spoke on and on, he finally seed to notice Madara’s face twisted in bloodthirsty fury—even Hashirama couldn’t ignore it. He jumped in fright and looked at Madara nervously, blurting out, "Madara... what’s wrong?!"
"I’m fine!"
"Then your face..."
"Right now..." Madara’s eyes narrowed slightly, a cold gleam flashing through them, "I just want to kill that group of idiots!"
"???"
Didn’t you already say that before...?
...
The Chunin Exams had ended.
The village was gradually settling down again. Though a few accidents occurred at the beginning—like Konoha’s two star players being disqualified for cheating during the first exam—overall... everyone was quite satisfied.
Rumor had it that the Third Raikage was so thrilled by his village’s new generation that he stood shirtless in the stands, shouting in excitent!
And everyone even got to watch an amazing dance competition, leaving them deeply fulfilled.
So, all in all, it had been a pretty spectacular Chunin Exams!
Yuto rubbed his lower back and, after seeing Konan and the others off, made his way back into the village.
After all, the Chunin Exams were over. Although he’d asked them to stay a while longer until after the new year... as high-ranking officials of Agakure, they couldn’t stay away too long.
More importantly, the reason they had co with such a large group—besides escorting the new generation to compete—was also to keep an eye on Nagato.
For no clear reason—
That otaku Nagato had suddenly shown up in Konoha, and no matter how you looked at it, Konan and the others had felt sothing was off.
Especially with Uchiha Madara also in Konoha, they were worried sothing might happen. That’s why they tagged along, but unexpectedly... nothing happened at all, and Nagato had already left.
Still—
That shy guy hadn’t really co to see him much during this ti either.
Seriously.
What’s he being shy for?!
It’s not like he was going to pressure him about marriage or ask about his job!
This can’t go on!
At his age already...
When they got back to the Land of Rain, he’d definitely have to give Nagato a proper talk!
As their beloved Brother Yuto, he really worried too much!
Yuto sighed deeply, shook his head, and walked back into the village with both hands behind his head. Along the way... quite a few tourists still hadn’t left Konoha, so even though it wasn’t as lively as the start of the exams, overall... it was still fairly crowded.
But then—
He looked ahead in surprise, at that small figure with his head down, looking rather gloomy. "What’s wrong? You’ve already enjoyed a full childhood, haven’t you?"
But thinking a bit more~
Yuto sighed again and still walked toward that lost little figure.
As his biological uncle—
How could he just stand by when his nephew was clearly confused about life?
Now.
It was ti for Uchiha’s ntal health psychologist—Dr. Yuto—to take the stage~
Boy, got sothing on your mind?
