Hao Xuan's soul fell from the sky and his body ran through space to et it.
The nurous shadowy figures were forcefully pulled behind his body by so unknown force and when he suddenly stopped they were all forced inside, rging with his soul and body.
Hao Xuan opened his eyes which were filled with nothing but pure chaos. He was himself but so were the untold different lifetis that he had lived. They had all co true, brought to reality by the twisted cursed machinations of the gods.
Too many to even count, too many to even rember, but he did. He rembered them all because they were here, now, and forever.
Although he had broken free of the curse that did not an it would simply let him be.
Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands to uncountable millions of lifetis worth of experiences were all forcefully rged into one body.
In this mont he was all of them and they were all him and that made him more than just Hao Xuan.
He looked up at the ceiling but his vision went far past the boundaries of the physical realm. He could see past the veil, into it and past it.
The sky was different. It wasn't empty anymore because there were so many creatures and stars swimming within its inky darkness.
It was filled with nurous luminaries, so brimming with life and others waning into the ether. He could feel them, feel the beings that lived upon them.
It felt like he was connected to them in a way that could not be described by re words. As if he was standing behind curtain of creation itself.
And he wasn't the only one. When he looked into the darkness nurous eyes set themselves upon him from within its depths.
A few felt so ancient and powerful as if they had been there from the beginning while others were a little different but, one thing he knew for sure was that they could see and feel him just as he could feel them.
And a mont later several curious voices ca into his ears.
'Who is it?'
'A human! Or a demon?'
'Another god?"
'No this one is different!'
'Tell us! Who are you?'
'Hehehe, yes yes, we are all friends here, quickly give us your na!'
'I am-'
"Save her...please, save Eva!"
A voice scread in his ears, bringing him out of that state.
"Too damn loud!"
He looked around not recognizing anything or anyone but he could see the truth behind them, see the true forms of all those that masqueraded as sothing else.
That is until Wern ntioned Henrik and it started a chain reaction in his mind. His own mories ca bubbling up to the surface and all other beings were pushed out.
A flood of darkened hands forged by the chaos was released from his body and soul until there was only him left.
Gasping for breath Hao Xuan looked around him for answers, "Am...I back?"
He rembered his own self, the original him and realized he had returned but all was not well.
'Eva...help Eva!'
He could still hear that voice and see the truth of it.
Eurig looked like a fusion of hundreds of small snakes taking a humanoid form. One among these nurous serpents had a strange symbol on its head and it was located where his heart would have been.
"I am called Eurig, my lord. I was sent here for you by the savior."
"Hm. Take to Eva first, then I will listen to what your savior has to say."
He walked ahead and could not help but rub his eyes upon seeing these strange scenes because he was walking through the old ruins instead.
And yet, sohow he could tell what he was seeing wasn't all of it. The building was missing the roof and most of the walls were destroyed not too long ago.
The shadowy figures hid behind every corner, staring at him openly without any fear.
And after asking Eurig he realized no one else could see them either but they gave him an uneasy feeling. In fact, it wasn't the first ti he had felt it although he couldn't place it.
And when he left the confines of the structure the remainder of the figures ca into view. Far too many to even count and with their thousands of voices overlapping with one another it was unbearably loud.
He felt like he was completely alone even though it was anything but that.
And when he ca into contact with the first one it was absorbed into him without any resistance whatsoever.
Along with its mories ca his own and he began to rember everything. But this ti it was more natural, a lot more slower, slow enough for him to digest it without any repercussions.
