Chapter 670: Chapter 7: Strongest Demon Exorcist
"Everyone shut up! Invigilate properly!" the chief examiner roared.
The internal line instantly went silent.
Tianmiao stood at the finish line, and an examiner had already recorded her information.
"You’re Tianmiao, right? Congratulations on passing the first round of the exam. Co and have a seat here," the examiner said with a smile.
"Huh? Isn’t this the examiner’s seat? Can I sit here?" Tianmiao asked with a smile.
"Sure, sure, this is a special privilege for the first place," the examiner nodded repeatedly. There were three chairs in total, one for each of the two examiners, with one left empty.
"Oh, I see, thank you," Tianmiao said nonchalantly as she sat down, pulled out two chocolates, and asked, "Want to try so? They’re delicious."
"Then, we won’t be polite, thank you," the two examiners accepted the chocolates happily. They noticed the chocolate hadn’t lted and guessed it might be related to this candidate’s superpower, but didn’t think much of it.
While Tianmiao finished eating ten chocolates, Lin Duoduo appeared.
Although she was sweating all over from running, her condition was fairly good, her breathing only slightly labored.
After the two examiners recorded her information, they sent the results to the internal line.
"Boss, it seems these two are much faster than the average person," they comnted.
"Boss, didn’t you say this was the worst group of candidates you’ve ever had?"
"Good thing the boss didn’t make any bold claims about what he’d do if this batch had outstanding performances, or he’d be eating his words again..." said the sa annoying examiner from before.
"Wang Er, you just wait, don’t leave after the exam," the chief examiner roared.
About forty minutes passed, and the third, fourth, and fifth arrived in succession. The fifth was a young man nad Mo Bai Ning, contestant number 72. He had black hair and black eyes, with handso features, yet exuded an unapproachable aloofness.
Tianmiao glanced at this youth, the third lucky one...
Sensing Tianmiao’s gaze, the young man looked over. He rely glanced at Tianmiao briefly before looking away.
Within the internal line.
"This round’s candidates actually perford quite well."
"Exactly, and the boss was saying..."
"Wang Er, shut up!!!" the chief examiner roared again like a tiger.
The internal line went silent as a chicken again.
...
"Only a few minutes left," the examiner at the finish line checked the tir and then turned to look at the crowd behind him. The candidates actually perford quite well this ti. There were several hundred who passed the first round. That statent about this being the worst batch of candidates was a real face-slap, haha.
"There are basically no more candidates," another examiner started to pack things up.
"Wait, there’s still soone," Lin Duoduo said as she saw a red blur running towards them.
In the last few minutes, a red-haired boy, exhausted like a dying dog, finally crossed the finish line. Then he just collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath. This boy was the one Lin Duoduo and the others had seen at the entrance of the venue. Lin Duoduo described him as a boy whose hair looked like burning flas.
The candidates who passed the first round went through a gate and a corridor, returning to the venue. The venue had places for accommodations and als, where they could rest freely for a night before continuing with the second round of exams the next day. Naturally, those eliminated in the first round didn’t get this kind of treatnt.
Tianmiao and Lin Duoduo were sitting in the dining area, eating their nutrition als.
The red-haired boy also ca over with a tray, imdiately spotting Tianmiao. He sat directly across from Tianmiao with his tray.
"Are you the first place of the first round exam?" the boy asked coldly, holding a spoon and taking a bite of his al.
