"Kong Hou said she won’t be back for dinner because Old Bai invited her to eat elsewhere," Dong Xiao replied.
"Alright then, that kid always troubles Old Bai," Tianmiao said, though a slight smile played around the corners of her lips. It was a blessing that Kong Hou found a companion with such a good nature.
When Xue Ziping entered the Heavenly Dao Sect, he beca entranced by the sight of the three characters. When he awoke from his trance, he saw Luo Yunyi standing in front of him.
"Ah, Brother Luo, you’re here at the Heavenly Dao Sect too?" Xue Ziping stood up and greeted him with a smile, "I figured you’d be here for such a grand occasion."
"Want to eat?" Luo Yunyi didn’t answer the question but asked calmly instead.
"Eat. I brought a lot of fine wine this ti and wanted to drink with you," Xue Ziping chuckled, throwing an arm around Luo Yunyi’s neck, whispering, "Your senior sister must be here too, right?"
"She’s here." Luo Yunyi glanced at the mischievous Xue Ziping and answered succinctly.
"Does that an I can dine with her?" Xue Ziping asked excitedly.
"Possibly," Luo Yunyi turned and walked ahead, with Xue Ziping hurrying to follow him. After a few steps, he turned to look at his disciples following behind, frowning with so difficulty. If he followed, what about these disciples?
Luo Yunyi signaled, and a little Daoist child ran over.
"Take these disciples to their residence," Luo Yunyi instructed.
"Yes." The little Daoist child hopped over to the group of disciples, "Everyone, please follow ."
Xue Ziping blinked, watching the little Daoist child lead the disciples away. He turned his head and saw Luo Yunyi walking away, quickly catching up. Just as he was about to speak, a large yellow chicken suddenly flapped its wings and flew out of Luo Yunyi’s arms, heading straight for his head.
"Stop, stop, Tuantuan, my neck will break," Luo Yunyi hurriedly caught Tuantuan, hugging it back into his arms.
"Hahaha, Brother Luo, what’s going on? Last ti I saw this little yellow chicken, it was as small as a fist. Now it’s grown bigger than your head?" Xue Ziping caught up, laughing and asking.
Luo Yunyi glanced at him, his expression sowhat complicated, "It’s a long story."
Xue Ziping followed Luo Yunyi all the way, exclaiming as they walked, "Wow, the Heavenly Dao Sect is really wealthy. Wow, Brother Luo, look at that flowerbed, it’s made of Jade Crystal Stone, right? That’s a precious material for artifact refining that’s hard to co by outside, and the Heavenly Dao Sect uses it for flowerbeds? Is that flower in the flowerbed... am I seeing things? Is that a Heavenly Grade dicinal Material?"
"You’re not seeing things, keep up," Luo Yunyi urged.
"Coming, coming," Xue Ziping hurriedly caught up. Finally, he followed Luo Yunyi to a quaint courtyard.
In the courtyard, he saw Tianmiao reclining on a rocking chair.
"Miss Tian, Tian!" Xue Ziping stamred nervously, blurting out a few words as he stood still.
"Co in and take a seat," Tianmiao looked up at Xue Ziping and smiled slightly.
"Coming, coming," Xue Ziping shuffled awkwardly into the courtyard.
"What are you doing?" Luo Yunyi placed the large yellow chicken on a chair and started a fire, "Co help, you think you can get a free al?"
"Coming, coming," Xue Ziping moved more briskly this ti, quickly running over, then whispering, "So you are Luo Yunyi, the one taken in as a disciple by the Heavenly Dao Sect. Then, Miss Tian is— the Sect Leader of the Heavenly Dao Sect?"
