Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Prince of Unyielding Spirit

The pupils of Prince De suddenly contracted. What did he see?

A giant beast charged out from the vase in his hand, its figure growing larger and the golden light intensifying in mid-air. A gust of wind, with him at its center, exploded outward, sweeping around. No one could stand firm, and everyone was shocked as they watched the scene unfold before them.

When everyone saw the appearance of the giant beast, they trembled all over. They couldn’t help but throw down their weapons, kneeling on the ground, shivering.

"Qil, Qil, Qilin..."

"It is, it is the Divine Beast Qilin..."

There was still golden light around. Prince De silently looked around; with him at the center, everything beca an open space where nothing existed. Those who were chasing, the trees and stones on the ground, were all burnt to nothing by the Qilin’s fla!

By Prince De’s ear, the ethereal, slow voice of the woman nad Tianmiao seed to sound again.

"As you... wished."

The surrounding golden light gradually faded away. Darkness enveloped the surroundings once more.
