Chapter 338: Chapter 45: The Elf Prince’s Wish
"This city is filled with an aura I hate." Dean frowned slightly, "It’s a kind of aura that repels light. You should feel it more strongly. Camille is a Fire Elent, and Xia Chuanyue is a Water Elent; they probably don’t feel it."
"Yes." Tianmiao said softly, "An aura that makes people uncomfortable."
"The Blood Clan wouldn’t be like this, even though they are creatures that cannot stand the light and can only live in dark corners." Dean still did not forget to switch to his sarcastic mode at this ti.
"Yes, the Demon Clan..." Tianmiao sighed gently, "Haven’t you always been curious about what I showed the rmaid Princess?"
"I didn’t ask." Dean looked at Tianmiao’s reflection in the water, paused, and then added, "Although I’m really curious."
Tianmiao chuckled lightly, "Are all White Elves so tsundere?"
"Tsundere?" Dean repeated the words. He had never heard these words before, but sohow, he instantly understood their aning. He coldly faced Tianmiao and said solemnly, "I’m not."
"Then I’ll tell you this ti. Do you want to know?" Tianmiao laughed again.
Dean’s gaze moved from Tianmiao’s reflection in the water to Tianmiao’s face. Looking at Tianmiao’s smile, he felt a bit complicated at that mont.
The little white cat held in Tianmiao’s arms was ready to bristle up again.
"Yes." After a long pause, Dean finally uttered a word.
"I showed the rmaid Princess what would happen in the future. That Black Tail not only coaxed her into enacting many laws favorable to Black Tails and detrintal to Golden and Silver Tails but also, in her most helpless mont facing a coup, told the rmaid Princess with his lover that he and his lover were true love." Tianmiao briefly explained.
Dean’s expression instantly looked like he had eaten shit. Although this comparison was very inelegant for a noble Elf Prince, it was fitting.
"Did the rmaid Princess later slice the Black Tail? Into many pieces, that is." Dean frowned and asked.
"She indeed did so. So in your case, you’d surely do the sa?" Tianmiao raised an eyebrow and asked.
"No." Dean calmly uttered a word and then added lightly, "I would also use the fish slices to make soup."
Okay, I see. There indeed resides a beast within you.
"What happened afterward?" Dean asked, "Is it related to this matter too?"
"You’re smart." Tianmiao petted the little white cat in his arms, "Yes, it indeed has a connection. Because a new species appeared, the Demon Clan."
"These creatures whose aura makes
feel sick?" Dean asked.
"That’s right. So, follow this aura, and you will find the cause of this matter." Tianmiao nodded gently.
Dean looked up into the distance, and understanding dawned in his heart.
"I’ll call Camille and the others." After speaking, Dean picked up a fallen leaf from the ground. The dead leaf turned into a verdant leaf visibly in his hand, and then Dean tossed it into the air. The leaf was carried by the wind and floated into the distance.
Dean said, "Let’s wait for them at the city gate. Let’s go."
Tianmiao followed behind Dean, but Dean suddenly stopped and turned to look at Tianmiao.
"Hmm?" Tianmiao was puzzled.
"Who are you?" Dean asked again, "Actually, there’s another question I want to ask."
"What?" Tianmiao asked.
