Chapter 336: Chapter 43: The Elf Prince’s Wish
After arriving at Oxenfurt City, before the two dragons were to return, Tianmiao cleansed the impurities within them, making their future cultivation smoother and bringing them greater achievents. The two younglings didn’t realize the benefits they received; they only felt comfortable and at ease. After bidding farewell to Tianmiao reluctantly, only then did the two dragons fly back to the academy.
The arrival of the two dragons prompted the City Lord to personally co and greet them.
Seeing that the Magic Academy sent four young students this ti, the City Lord did not underestimate them because of their appearance. Could it be that simple to control the Dragon Clan?
"Esteed Mages, we have long awaited your arrival." City Lord Buck looked very haggard, his eyes filled with deep sorrow, yet he still mustered the energy to welco Tianmiao and the others.
"Take us to see the corpses first," Xia Chuanyue said.
"Please follow ." The City Lord thought these Mages would want to settle down and rest first. Mages are often aloof, and many have quite a temper. He didn’t expect these few people weren’t planning on wasting any ti. This was great!
The City Lord led Tianmiao and the group to where several corpses were placed.
The white cloth was lifted, revealing five bodies, and everyone spread out to carefully examine the corpses.
Dean stood nearby, slightly frowning as he observed these bodies, from which emanated an aura that made him uncomfortable. It was an aura belonging to darkness.
Tianmiao naturally also sensed this repugnant aura. Both the Demon Clan and the Eastern Demon Clan have this type of aura.
Xia Chuanyue bent over to closely inspect the corpses, noticing the neck area, and exclaid, "Look here, there are two blood holes. But it’s odd..."
Everyone followed Xia Chuanyue’s gaze. The charred necks of the corpses indeed had two blood holes; these people died from having their blood completely drained. These two blood holes were still releasing wisps of black smoke, faint to the point of being nearly invisible, yet undoubtedly present.
"Blood-sucking at the neck, a typical mark of vampires. Could an unknown vampire have co to the city to feed? But this black smoke doesn’t seem like theirs," Camille pondered.
After examining all the corpses, Dean said solemnly, "They all have blood holes; it really seems like the work of vampires."
Xia Chuanyue nodded in agreent, "Indeed, but the vampire clan could never hunt during the day, and there’s a magic array outside the city that shields it. Ordinary vampires can’t co inside; they are nocturnal, disappearing in sunlight. How could they harm people and feed in broad daylight?"
Everyone fell into deep thought.
Tianmiao didn’t speak, just listened to the discussion between Xia Chuanyue and the others. She couldn’t interfere too much, affecting their growth. These are the three destined ones of this world. In the future, this continent must rely on them to lead the two camps in opposition to the Demon Clan. If everything were solved for them now, they’d only beco flowers in a greenhouse, not towering trees.
In fact, in the original world, Xia Chuanyue and the others resolved the vampire issue successfully, though it took considerable ti and effort. As for the rmaid Clan incident, they weren’t involved. Tianmiao’s arrival did bring so changes, but through Tianmiao’s deliberate guidance, it didn’t deviate from the path; rather, it increased the strength for future battles against the Demon Clan.
