Three days later, after the official registration, school began.

Tianmiao closed the book, put it back in place, and turned to look at Dean: "Can I?"
"Yes." Dean said and then walked outside, Tianmiao followed him.
After the two left the library, they walked to a bench by the roadside and sat down.
"The White Elves, which is our clan, actually number quite few, possibly less than ten thousand. We live in the Elf Forest, which has a barrier. Other races cannot enter it. We have a Tree of Life that possesses great life force. It is said that it was bestowed upon us by God. We worship the Elf God." Dean explained the White Elf Clan to Tianmiao slowly.
"The Elf God also advocates peace and light. That’s why we White Elves belong to the Light Camp." Dean added, then turned to Tianmiao, "I know all the races on this continent."
Tianmiao tilted her head slightly, smiled at Dean: "But the only thing you don’t know is what race I am, right?"
"Yes. Who are you?" Dean asked the question again.
"Do you want to know?" Tianmiao chuckled, her laughter ethereal, like feathers brushing against the heart, causing an itchy feeling.
The little white cat on Tianmiao’s shoulder fluffed up again.
Dean nodded gently: "I do."
"But, I don’t want to tell you." Tianmiao smiled again, said this, got up, and walked away.
The little white cat smoothed its fur, owed twice, rubbed its small head against Tianmiao’s cheek, and then turned provocatively to look at Dean behind.
Dean was stunned, sitting in place, watching Tianmiao’s departing figure in a daze, not reacting for a while.
Just now, what did Tianmiao say?
He had explained everything, thinking Tianmiao would be frank in return. But he never expected Tianmiao to say such a thing.
Observing Tianmiao and Xia Chuanyue’s interactions these past two days, he thought Tianmiao was a friendly and easy-going race.
But it seed that was his illusion.
