Chapter 301: Chapter 8: The Elf Prince’s Wish
Xia Chuanyue looked over it and exclaid, "You’re not staying in a dormitory, you’re living in a separate courtyard. Oh my, this kind of treatnt seems to have only appeared once before in the academy’s history. That formidable individual also startled the dean upon arriving at the academy."
Tianmiao blinked, "Oh, is that so?"
"You’ll even have an assistant specifically to tend to your daily needs. Ah, how nice. When will I beco strong enough to receive such treatnt?" Xia Chuanyue said with a bit of yearning.
"Do I need to pay wages?" Tianmiao asked abruptly.
"Huh? Hahaha, Tianmiao, why are your points of concern always different from normal people? Your focus seems off." Xia Chuanyue laughed heartily upon hearing Tianmiao’s words. "Of course not. The academy just wants to forge a good relationship. That ans, um... to establish a good rapport with you, making things easier to manage in the future."
Xia Chuanyue finally brought Tianmiao to a place sowhat distant from where the students lived in dormitories. It was a standalone house, with a verdant lake in front of it. Unfamiliar, slender plants swayed in the wind around the lake, presenting an exceedingly beautiful scene. Many swans were graciously swimming in the lake. Behind the house was a fruit orchard. Flowers bloom in spring, and fruits ripen in autumn.
"Oh, this place is really beautiful," Xia Chuanyue marveled, "Tianmiao, do you need a helper? I can co and help you."
"Sure, you can move in anyti you want." Tianmiao smiled. She said this, but she knew Xia Chuanyue absolutely wouldn’t agree. She had her pride and perseverance.
"I was just joking." Sure enough, Xia Chuanyue waved her hand, "Alright, let’s go. Let’s settle in first, and then I’ll take you on a tour of the academy."
"Okay." Tianmiao agreed.
Upon reaching the courtyard’s entrance, there were indeed a steward and a servant responsible for the house waiting. They initially wanted to ask Tianmiao if there were any luggage she needed help with, but seeing her empty-handed, they swallowed their words back. The steward was rely pondering that it seed more preparations would be necessary.
After showing Tianmiao around the house, Xia Chuanyue took her for a campus stroll. As they walked, she introduced the campus layout and various legends within the academy to Tianmiao. Thoughtfully, she also bought two cups of juice, handing one to Tianmiao.
"This tastes pretty good. The academy allows students to set up stalls to make money, but on the condition that it doesn’t hinder people’s passage," Xia Chuanyue clearly knew the academy inside out. Although she was a newcor, she had done plenty of howork in advance, "This juice is freshly pressed. Ah, it’s about ti, let’s head to the school gate to wait for Camille."
At the school gate, Tianmiao t another fortunate person in this world, Dean, the Elf Prince of the Elf Clan.
At the mont, Dean’s eyes were filled with impatience, as standing at the school gate attracted too much attention. His sleek silver long hair shimred with a soft silver glow under the sunset, his erald green eyes were as beautiful as gemstones, well-defined lips, and exquisite perfect features made him the focus of everyone’s gaze. Clearly, he didn’t enjoy being noticed like this.
Though the academy had quite a few elf students, a remarkable elf like him was appearing for the first ti.
"Xia Chuanyue, Tianmiao, this way!" Camille saw Xia Chuanyue and Tianmiao, happily waved, signaling them to look over.
Dean slightly frowned, looking towards the direction where Camille was waving. First, he saw Xia Chuanyue, glanced over and shifted his gaze, then noticed a girl with black hair and black eyes beside her. His gaze froze.
