"Thank you, Su Xiaoou, for bringing us such a wonderful magic performance." As the applause in the studio began to wane, Jiang Shu also stood up and addressed the audience loudly.
"Wait, there’s one more thing!" At this mont, Su Xiaoou suddenly jumped up and snatched the microphone from Jiang Shu’s hands, "This magic performance didn’t use any stooges at all, not Li Yuntang, not money, nothing was staged or props, it was all random! I guarantee it!"
"Yes, I indeed did not collude with Su Xiaoou." Li Yuntang also smiled and responded, then imitated Su Xiaoou’s tone, "I guarantee it too."
Beside them, Jiang Shu blinked and chuckled, "Although it has nothing to do with , I can also guarantee."
This type of prediction-based spirit magic was most afraid that the audience would suspect the use of stooges. After all, every effect was achieved through imagination. If soone stubbornly thought it involved stooges or props, then the spirit magic would lose all its aning.
Comnts:
"Okay, so this ans we have to believe it was magic, right?"
"I don’t care about the rest; I believe in Tangtang!"
"Does anyone know how Su Xiaoou did it? I an how she acquired such deep magical skills in such a short ti."
"Magic Girl Xiaoou."
And Jiang Shu addressed the audience, "Well, today’s program is about to conclude, the first episode is a complete success, thank you all for your cooperation, thank you."
The three bowed simultaneously, two good-looking adults flanking a charming young girl in the middle, creating a particularly pleasing sight.
As the curtain fell, the studio audience also started to leave following the instructions, while Jiang Shu, Su Xiaoou, and Li Yuntang finally relaxed behind the curtain, although the atmosphere between them was a bit odd.
"The first episode is over, congratulations, Jiang Shu." Li Yuntang laughed and congratulated Jiang Shu, her superficial complint or perhaps courtesy had beco her instinct.
"That’s all thanks to Miss Li as the guest, there must have been a lot of Tang fans in the audience," Jiang Shu chuckled in response.
"The show was spectacular, I can imagine, after tonight, you will probably beco famous again for a while." Li Yuntang nodded and then turned her gaze to Su Xiaoou, "Of course, you too, your magic was amazing, even more so than your teacher’s."
"Hey, are you trying to make look bad by saying that in front of ?" Jiang Shu exclaid, his eyes half-closed, pretending to be displeased.
"Thank you." And Su Xiaoou quietly thanked her, now quite different from her performance self just a mont ago.
Though usually loud and carefree, standing before Li Yuntang, in the presence of such a star, she couldn’t help feeling timid.
It’s normal; people usually feel this way when they et top-tier stars in real life; after all, the other person is worth easily over billions.
"Also, I’ll consider your advice, and be a straightforward person," Li Yuntang patted Su Xiaoou’s shoulder, "Thank you for your guidance, Master Su."
"Um..." Su Xiaoou’s face showed so embarrassnt, seemingly wanting to say sothing.
But Jiang Shu imdiately interrupted, "Don’t worry about it, they’re just polite words, feel free to ignore them later."
He spoke earnestly, trying to diminish the impact that mont of magic might have had on Li Yuntang’s thoughts.
"Are you a bit excited?" Li Yuntang teased, "You don’t think the ’JS’ I wrote was about you, do you? Of course, it wasn’t, just a coincidence."
"Uh, okay." Jiang Shu nodded slightly, not responding much, because if he did, it would make not just him but also Li Yuntang feel awkward.
Now, with his mind reading abilities active, Jiang Shu clearly understood that Li Yuntang’s ntioned "JS" was indeed him.
And...
[Destiny? Interesting.]
[Thinking back to the first ti I saw Jiang Shu perform at Black Currant Theater, it really felt like fate.]
[Maybe there really is such a possibility?]
Retracting his mind reading ability, Jiang Shu always felt the urge to sigh.
Initially, there was nothing special between them but, stirred by Su Xiaoou, it seed that there was a slight shift in Li Yuntang’s thoughts, starting to carry a hint of ambiguity.
Psychologically speaking, Su Xiaoou’s words just now likely inadvertently influenced Li Yuntang’s thoughts.
Fortunately, there wasn’t much communication after that, and following a brief farewell, Jiang Shu proceeded to the underground parking lot with Su Xiaoou to wait.
They didn’t wait long; a familiar sports car soon stopped next to Jiang Shu, and Liu Tingruo, wearing sunglasses, was at the driver’s seat.
Liu Tingruo’s look today was cool and elegant. At that mont, she slightly lowered her head, and the fra of her sunglasses slid down her nose, stopping at the bridge, revealing her large eyes, which were staring at Jiang Shu.
"Miss Liu." Jiang Shu called out, uncertain about Liu Tingruo’s expression.
Was it her usual aloofness in public, or was she upset by Su Xiaoou’s words?
"This is..." Su Xiaoou widened her eyes, looking at the stunningly beautiful and cool woman in the driver’s seat, blinked at Jiang Shu, discreetly tugged his sleeve, and whispered, "Are you being kept?"
