It looked like Wolf intended to go and take a look.
Jiang Shu also nodded in agreent, "Planning is the start of a project. If the planning departnt is vibrant and creative, the company will also be more dynamic."
"Please, follow ," Ms. Han seed to have received instructions from the chairman, so she did not need to consult the chairman anymore. She then reopened the elevator, "Our Seges Building is divided into buildings A, B, C, D, and X, and the planning departnt is located on the fourth floor of Building B."
The three re-entered the elevator, which slowly descended to the fourth floor.
The elevator was located in the middle of the pentagon-shaped Seges Building and then laterally moved toward one corner of the pentagon.
Jiang Shu noticed that this transparent elevator was the only one of its kind, aning, besides the chairman, it was unlikely that anyone else could use this elevator regularly.
Others could only use the employee elevators situated at the edges of each building.
This really highlighted the chairman’s autocratic and domineering nature.
"Ding—" The elevator beeped again, and Wolf, Jiang Shu, and Ms. Han reached the fourth floor of Building B, where the planning departnt was located.
Exiting the elevator, they were t with two glass automatic doors. Beside the doors was a card and facial recognition device.
Ms. Han took out her employee card and scanned it on the device, and the automatic doors opened promptly.
"Can’t you enter without an employee card?" Wolf suddenly asked this out of the blue.
"Yes, the access of each employee card is restricted, and it is temporarily activated only when necessary for work," Ms. Han explained without hesitation, though curious about why Wolf asked such a question, "This is also to prevent employees from wandering around and wasting work ti."
"Uh-huh," Wolf nodded and did not ask further.
As the elevator doors opened, the three stepped into a highly modern company environnt. A long corridor connected the north and south, and several offices were distributed alternately to the left and right along the corridor.
There was a communal office area for nearly twenty people and private offices used by company leaders.
The communal office area was basically entirely transparent, devoid of doors, and many employees could be seen busily working inside, while the private offices were enclosed spaces with closed doors.
"This is our planning departnt," Ms. Han introduced to them, "Our employees receive at least several dozen orders for security systems daily, and during peak sales periods, this number could go well into the hundreds. These security systems often take one to three months to custom-design and install."
"One to three months?" Wolf repeated, then nodded slightly, "That is similar to our decoration tiline, it seems feasible to synchronize them."
"Indeed," Ms. Han agreed, "If the assembly of the security systems can be synchronized with the decoration works, it would certainly save quite a bit of ti and manpower resources."
"I’ll consider that," Wolf responded, seemingly disinterested in continuing the topic. He then looked around and moved forward, "Now if you could show us around at your convenience, Ms. Han."
Jiang Shu understood why Wolf cut off the topic. Like him, Wolf probably didn’t understand the nuances of high-end decorations and security systems. Continuing might risk exposing that.
Naturally, they couldn’t continue that discussion.
From behind, Jiang Shu observed Wolf’s commanding presence. Though lacking the elegance typical of nobility, he exuded a strong aura, showing no signs of timidity.
Throughout their walk, Jiang Shu barely noticed any employees turning their heads towards them. Only the employees crossing their paths would cast a glance and then stand aside in the corridor to let them pass.
However, he noticed sothing else: the employees weren’t really indifferent to their presence. Many sneaked peeks at them, making only minimal body movents, hard to detect.
It reminded Jiang Shu of exam cheaters he had seen in school, who would sneakily watch the invigilating teacher and quietly shift their bodies to pull out a cheat sheet.
There was a curious parallel.
This also indicated that even during work, Sages Group’s employees couldn’t act as they pleased, as if an omnipresent "Big Brother" watched over them.
Such a work environnt...
Jiang Shu shuddered at the thought; for soone like him accustod to slacking off, this was a nightmare.
At that mont, Wolf seed to notice sothing. He stopped in front of a huge company internal schematic map, scrutinizing the layout and planning.
Tang had not been able to obtain detailed internal structure blueprints of the Seges Building from outside sources. Wolf and Jiang Shu only knew the basic structure, unclear about the specific departnt locations, so they were quite blind within the building.
This map, ant for new employees, provided quite a bit of information to Wolf.
Nevertheless, it only had information about Building B, with no guidance for other building areas.
