Even with the judicial system still intact, the chaos of order breakdown was far from touching the Fifth District.

And the second top trend revolved around Jiang Shu’s "Resurrection Magic" performance yesterday. As always, this magic act sparked imnse sensation, even surpassing those from his past in terms of impact.

Compared to the flashy tricks with fire and thunder, this resurrection act was practically a dinsion-crushing blow.

Life and death represent the furthest distance in this world, yet this magic seed capable of erasing the divide between the two. How could it not drive the netizens of Lonely City’s Fifth District wild?

Like before, there were skeptics of this resurrection magic, but their doubts barely caused a ripple against the execution of the performance.

The flies were alive; Koichi Kojima and Ooishi had verified this.

The chickens were also alive, a fact known to not only Kojima and Ooishi but also to everyone present in the morgue.

And Lu Yi’s body was also real, which was even confird by the head of the hospital; his resurrection had been witnessed by all spectators.

All things considered, no flaws could be found in this magic performance; Magician Jiang Shu appeared to truly possess the legendary Resurrection Secret Technique.

Of course, this unscientific phenonon was still questioned by so so-called experts and doctors. They doubted the authenticity of the resurrection, but in unison, their argunts amounted to nothing substantial beyond na-calling and theorizing.

Despite this, there were still many who chose to believe these experts.

"Hmm?" Jiang Shu’s gaze landed on a comnt beneath his magic performance video.

An Group’s CEO, Mr. An (verified): If the resurrection magic perford by Magician Mr. Jiang Shu in the video is real, my group is willing to pay thirty million Feather Coins in cash for a chance at resurrection!

Seemingly feeling that his initial offer was too ager, the CEO kept adding more to the deal within the comnt, mostly offering shares and real estate.

It seed thirty million in cash flow was already the limit this group could freely leverage, and the offer was decidedly generous.

It essentially ant that, with just a bit of electricity and ti, Jiang Shu could amass a vast wealth in the Fifth District.

"What a pity," Jiang Shu voiced with feigned regret, though his heart carried little sentint.

Of course, he wouldn’t actually perform such a feat for wealth, not even if it was easily within his grasp.

Jiang Shu did indeed hope his audience would see his magic as real magic, as that was the highest praise for his magic performance, but it didn’t an he would publically confirm his identity as a true magician.

First, it did not align with his dedication to the art of magic.

Second, so blatantly displaying "magic" would bring loads of trouble.

One could imagine how frantic the people and powers of Lonely City would beco if they knew he possessed the ability to resurrect, and such frenzy could spell disaster.

For soone like Tang with a grand family and deep roots, even if the Resurrection Secret Technique were to leak, aside from the Three Major Groups, no one would dare to make a move.

"What’s the pity?" Liu Tingruo, still engrossed in work, picked up on Jiang Shu’s sigh with her keen ears and imdiately turned her head to ask.

"Sobody wants to pay thirty million for a resurrection spot," Jiang Shu continued.

"A man who carries a jade is free from sin; he who harbors it commits the cri." Liu Tingruo shared the sa view as Jiang Shu, "We’re not short of money now, so there’s no need to reveal our tricks."

She rolled her eyes at Jiang Shu, with every move brimming with allure, "Besides, your money-making skills are not bad at all, Mr. Magician."

"That’s why I said it’s a pity," Jiang Shu sighed again, "Rich lady, I don’t want to try anymore."

Liu Tingruo returned to her work, too lazy to entertain Jiang Shu at the mont, and as Jiang Shu knew better than to linger, he stood up and headed towards the door, "I’m going to find Lu Yi."

"Go ahead, and bring back sothing tasty when you return," Liu Tingruo said as he departed, stretching her fair, long legs across the couch, reclining comfortably against the sofa’s right armrest.

Jiang Shu, at the doorway, putting on his shoes, responded, "Like what?"

"Whatever," Liu Tingruo glanced at him briefly, her smile as enchanting as ever.

The classic non-committal.

Jiang Shu sighed inwardly; he took a Human Skin Mask designed for rapid disguise from the hall cabinet, put it on, and walked out.

He was off to check on his upcoming Photographer – Lu Yi. Since Lu Yi was mostly associated with his public persona as a magician, Jiang Shu didn’t plan to involve him in the Deception Group just yet and had rented a place for him nearby.

It wasn’t much, just close by, so Jiang Shu wasn’t going to take a car.

Descending the stairs, a man with a tall stature waited by the street – Lang Tai.

Jiang Shu, donning a hat, approached him and whispered, "Let’s go."

Lang Tai nodded slightly and followed behind Jiang Shu as they moved forward.
