The two Tangs glanced at him simultaneously but said nothing; they had grown accustod to Clo’s neurotic behavior.

"So, Jiang Shu might have also mastered..." Tang One and Tang Two discussed sothing.

"Alright, he’s telling the truth; I swear this is my honest opinion," Clo raised his hand to swear as he saw the two ignored him, his voice booming loudly enough to interrupt the Tangs’ conversation.

The Tangs glanced at him again, still disregarding him, and Tang One continued, "We need to prepare in advance, the plan must not fail."

"What plan, tell about it, I know a bit about everything," Clo leaned in curiously again, "Or just let go out and have so fun, following you guys around is absolutely boring."

Then, the Tangs turned their heads to look at Clo once more, exchanged glances, and their eyes conveyed their mutual understanding; Tang One said to Clo, "Fine, now you can go out."

"I can go now?" Clo asked in surprise.

Since yesterday, the two Tangs had restricted his freedom, with a miniature bomb embedded in his neck which would automatically detonate if he strayed ten ters from them.

Although death didn’t scare him, he was all too aware that he would be resurrected after dying for such a reason, which felt quite helpless.

But what was he hearing now? The two Tangs agreed to let him leave?

"Mm-hm," Tang One nodded, his face wearing a smile, "From today, you have nothing to do with us."

"Do I need to do sothing? Not doing sothing to appease you, this freedom feels too sudden; I’m uneasy," Clo replied with a matching smile.

"No need," Tang One shook his head, walked over to the door of the observation room, pulled open the iron door, and gestured "please."

"Then I won’t be polite," Clo’s face lit up with a grin, and he called out loudly as he leaped out of the observation room, his cheers echoing down the corridor, "Jiang Shu! Jiang Shu! Yay! Yay! Yay!"

Apparently feeling that shouting loudly in the police station wasn’t enough to express his inner elation, Clo went on to open every office door along the way, not caring whether anyone was inside, and with each door he opened, he yelled, "I’m free!"

"I’m free!"

"I’m free!"

Such cries spread down the entire hallway, and the two Tangs in the observation room instantly wore somber expressions. Tang Two seed hesitant and asked in a low voice, "Are we really letting Clo go?"

"This ti I resurrected him, I modified more in his spiritual body, and without letting him out, we can’t verify if our control over him is effective," Tang One clearly had his own plan, "If it works, then naturally he can gain us plenty of ti for our plan, as well as secure more advantages. If it doesn’t work..."

"Just kill him."

Their conversation was hushed, almost inaudible.

In fact, if they wished, they could communicate through the network, but their behavior stemd from the original Tang, so under normal circumstances, they preferred direct conversation.

"Tap tap—" A knocking sound ca from the door, both Tangs looked toward it simultaneously; it was Clo’s silhouette. Clo was rapping on the door with his knuckles without actually touching it, the knocking sound simulated with his mouth.

"So, you really won’t consider selling a police uniform?" he asked earnestly.

The Tangs just stared darkly at Clo, while Clo’s face showed a wane of interest; he shrugged and turned to leave, waving his hand, "See you."

Once out of the Tangs’ sight, Clo instantly beca calm, adjusted the Red-Eyed White Crow badge on his chest, lifted his head slightly, and walked out of the police station with a steady gait.

Next, he had to find Jiang Shu.

That was the person Black Clo cared about the most. After committing suicide in Thirteen District, it seed as if that Clo had completely left this world, and Tang was resurrected twice, both tis it was him.

Red Clo.

No, no, no, he wasn’t Red Clo; that was the na Black Clo gave him, he hated everything about that person.

So, what should he call himself?

Musing, Clo lted into the crowd in the city district.

At that mont, Tablet Spirit, which had been stationed at the entrance of the police station, spotted Clo walking out, its eyes flashing with surprise.

That was Clo!

Clo hadn’t died...

Or was he resurrected?

---

A: If it cos to it, just make a Paperman body, huh? Papern are great, easy to destroy at any ti.

B:

"I want to see a feminized Tang, chant with , ’Little Miss Tang! Little Miss Tang!’"

C:

"Actually, monster girls aren’t bad either."

B:

"You’re thinking too small, why does it have to be human?"

Jiang Shu: "..."

Watching their heated discussion, Jiang Shu was at a loss for words, but unlike A, B, and C, he couldn’t be bothered to intentionally tornt Tang over such matters.

It was sowhat interesting, but not that interesting.

So he decided to try with a paper figure first.

Thus, in the vacant room of this secret underground chamber, Jiang Shu began the first round of resurrection experints. He took out the white paper he had brought, rolled up like a scroll, and swiftly transford it into a paper figure about an arm’s length tall, with fine craftsmanship that easily revealed Tang’s facial features.

He placed a hand on the paper figure and initiated the "Derivative Entry·Rebirth Technique."

But he gave up in just an instant.

"The energy consumption is too great, I can’t handle it," said Jiang Shu, turning his head to look at the three Tablet Spirits, "Your turn."

After drawing lots, the Rebirth Technique was passed onto Little C, who also connected to a power bank and was ready to go.

Without any fuss, Little C directly activated the Rebirth Technique on the paper figure, closing its eyes and dimming the screen to the lowest brightness, with its cooling fan spinning wildly to bring down its temperature.

A: "Little C’s computational power consumption is huge, it’s running on full load."

B: "I can sll the scorched scent of the CPU."

"Any problems? Can it be stopped?" Jiang Shu also noticed sothing slightly off about Little C’s condition, as none of the Tablet Spirits had ever encountered such an issue when using any derivative entry before.

Now this was...

A: "Not sure, let’s not disturb Little C for now, interrupting might make things worse."

Jiang Shu nodded seriously, keeping a stern gaze on the paper figure and Little C.

But his concern did not last long; soon, Little C reopened its eyes, and the anthropomorphized expression on its screen had disappeared, leaving only one line of text.

C: "I’ve been drained, quick, plug in, I need to charge..."

At the sa ti, the paper figure also stood up, blinking, scanning the room and the one man and three spirits underground.

Since the paper figure was only the size of a human head, it saw Jiang Shu and the Tablet Spirits in an imnsely large state, naturally arousing a sense of fear within itself.

It was as if afflicted with galophobia.

He glanced at his own body, made of paper, fragile, and easily broken.

"Jiang Shu... what have you done to ?!" This ti, Tang truly felt a surge of panic.

This situation completely exceeded his expectations.

Wasn’t he dead?

After dying, wasn’t he supposed to be resurrected in a prepared fake body?

Why did he appear here with Jiang Shu...

And as a paper figure?!

"So it can speak." Jiang Shu also picked up Tang in his paper form, using a toothpick to gently poke Tang’s paper mouth and throat, clicking his tongue in wonder, "You can’t tell at all that it has vocal organs."

"You! What exactly have you done to ?" Tang felt his life being toyed with at will and beca even more astonished, struggling violently in Jiang Shu’s hands, but it was futile; as a paper figure, he clearly could not compete with Jiang Shu in strength.

"? I rely invited you over as a guest," Jiang Shu placed him on the table, a mild smile spreading across his face.

Now, he finally held all the initiative.

"Don’t worry, as long as you cooperate with , I always value the art of hospitality," he assured.

A: "The Art of Hospitality"

B: "The Die of Hospitality"
