"Magician! Jiang Shu! We absolutely didn’t intend to steal anything from you, we just happened to be passing by," Kojima suddenly turned around, with the cara also pointing at him.
"Oh I see, you just got lost, right?" Jiang Shu noticed his cara, as well as the simulated light screen in front of him, instantly laughed twice, kept his hands behind his back, and adopted an innocent appearance.
Then he checked the ti, waved to Lu Yi, "You’re Lu Yi, right? Co here quickly, I know everything about you, follow , we’re running out of ti."
"Who are you? Why should I follow you?" Lu Yi was warily watching Jiang Shu, without making a move.
As Jiang Shu checked the ti again, he slightly furrowed his brow as if realizing ti was running out. Then he flashed beside Lu Yi, snapped his fingers, and Lu Yi fell to the ground on cue.
"It’s better to keep you here for now." Saying this, Jiang Shu glanced at Kojima and the other person beside him, but ignored the pair frozen at the side. His hands moved quickly, and within a few seconds, he had stuffed Lu Yi back into the body bag and shoved it back into the tal cubicle.
"Um..." After finishing all this, he stood in front of the cara, his expression slightly awkward, but he quickly regained his composure. He smiled at the cara, and earnestly said in his usual gentle manner, "Just now... the program, yes, the program. Whatever you saw, it was all just magic, and we should all believe in science, so... farewell!"
Having said that, Jiang Shu left briskly, as if sothing terrifying was chasing him.
anwhile, Kojima was shocked by the series of events that had just taken place within a few minutes. He seed to understand what was happening, but at the sa ti, he did not. It wasn’t until the chicken in Ooishi’s arms crowed again that he snapped out of it.
He rembered the flas and thunder in Jiang Shu’s hands, the transient high temperatures, and the crackling of the electric light...
You’re telling this dude is a normal person?!
Hence, Koichi Kojima handed the cara to Ooishi, and excitedly asked the audience in front of the lens, "Did you just see that fire and thunder? That stuff... can kill people, it definitely can kill!"
"You haven’t faced that thing, you can’t understand, just now if I had really said sothing wrong, I could have been burned to death or electrocuted!" Kojima was sowhat incoherent in front of the cara. He turned to ask Ooishi, "You saw it too, right?"
"Yes." Ooishi nodded but his reaction was more composed, simply looking a bit disturbed, "Just now... was indeed quite dangerous."
And the barrage on the screen confird this point.
"I’ve been saying that Jiang Shu can perform magic; just now that move... how are you supposed to prepare for that?"
"It feels like before and after he noticed the cara, he was two different people, one a demon, the other a gentleman."
"He was so handso just now, I couldn’t stand just watching."
"Was that fire or thunder prosthetics just now?"
"My family is in the prosthetics business, I can tell you responsibly, that it couldn’t have been prosthetics. He didn’t open any hand chanisms at all, the flas and thunder appeared out of thin air in the palm of his hand, that’s utterly unscientific."
"Does nobody care about Lu Yi running off?"
"I’ve seen this internet photographer in a ga before, I feel like it’s him in person, no one else can mimic that well."
"Does Koichi Kojima know the magician? I want to find out about this resurrection, I’ll pay!"
"I’m willing to pay, too!"
Audience mbers sent barrages of ssages in the live program video while, in reality, a group of people dressed in security guard uniforms rushed in. Their leader was a middle-aged man dressed in a white lab coat, who appeared to be a director of the hospital.
"Who are you? Why are you here? Are you here to steal the cadaver teacher?" the director shouted sternly, then ordered the security personnel beside him, "Take them into custody!"
"Wait, wait, wait!" Koichi Kojima exclaid imdiately, "We’re TV show hosts and reporters, we didn’t steal anything."
"How did you get in?" the director frowned, the underground morgue was clearly secured with a passcode door; how did these two get in? What was their purpose?
If there was one thing of value here, it might be the cadaver teacher (corpse specin) in the inner room; if that was the case, he could not tolerate it, he hated those who desecrated corpses the most.
After all, each person who contributed their body to dical science deserved respect.
His gaze fell on the live chicken in Ooishi’s hands, and he was sowhat surprised, "Chicken thieves?"
"No, no, no, it’s not about stealing chickens... Our program is tracking... a magician, and when he ca here, we followed him in," Kojima explained, "Check out my program, ’Kojima Chronicles,’ after watching this episode, you should understand."
"What show to watch!" the director rebuked loudly, and then instructed the security beside him, "Check the current situation of the corpses."
"Yes." A few security guards nodded; they brought up the preservation records of embalming room number one in their prosthetic eyes and, comparing with the preservation records, began to search the area.
"Wait, doctor, you should quickly check the corpse inside, soone just resurrected him?" Kojima quickly pointed towards Lu Yi’s tal cubicle.
