At two in the afternoon, Jiang Shu entered the coffee shop nad "Shoreline" punctually.
He ascended to the second floor and stepped into a private room.
Two people were already waiting inside.
A young man dressed in casual clothes, sporting a serious hairstyle—hardly the look of a decent director.
The other person was unexpected: Li Yuntang.
She dressed plainly, with light makeup.
"Good afternoon, Director Ye, Miss Li," Jiang Shu had not used his Foreknowledge ability previously, so he was unaware that Li Yuntang would be there, but he skillfully concealed his surprise and shook hands with both of them.
"Hello, Mr. Jiang," Director Ye Zheng seed sowhat restrained as the other two present were the top star of Lonely City and another person who was currently the talk of the town.
"Hello," Li Yuntang also gave a slight nod to Jiang Shu, "I just happened to be in the Seventh District these days and ca uninvited. Please forgive ."
"It’s no problem at all," seeing her here in person gave Jiang Shu so reassurance.
It appeared that she was also satisfied with the script, otherwise, she would not have co in person.
Even with advanced virtual communication technology, face-to-face etings were always the most sincere form of negotiation.
Ye Zheng glanced at Li Yuntang beside him and directly addressed the matter, "The script Mr. Jiang has provided is quite good, and I am willing to take on this movie."

The female lead?
She dies early on; there is no real female lead.
She would only live on in the male protagonist’s mory and a photo on a gravestone; how could she be the female lead?
"The script is already perfect and doesn’t need much alteration," Li Yuntang smiled, continuing, "But if I’m not mistaken, Mr. Jiang, you probably don’t know much about the film industry, do you?"
Jiang Shu looked at the three Tablet Spirits following him and after hesitating for a mont, he nodded, "Indeed, I want to make a movie, but I really don’t know what needs to be done."
After a night of learning, the three Tablet Spirits had gained a preliminary understanding of the film industry. Although they still might not be very useful, they should be adept enough to avoid being deceived by insiders.
"In that case, I can beco the producer and investor of this movie, and I’ll buy the script from you," Li Yuntang nodded, "You can leave those troubleso matters to ."
Jiang Shu thought for a mont and nodded in agreent.
He was, after all, not an industry insider, and had never considered assembling a team specifically for making a movie.
He simply needed this film to appear on the silver screen, nothing more.
"But I have two conditions," Jiang Shu held up a finger, "First, the script has to be divided and kept completely secret; no one but us three should see the whole script, not even the actors."
"That’s possible," Li Yuntang nodded, she turned to look at Director Ye Zheng, "But if that’s the case, it will require Director Ye to put in extra effort."
This task wouldn’t be simple and would really test a director’s skill.
"No problem at all," Ye Zheng kept nodding.
Although he was unclear on the reasons behind it, that wasn’t the key point.
This movie definitely had the potential to be a blockbuster, and with Li Yuntang’s involvent...
It was absolutely a golden opportunity for him to soar to success!
"Secondly, I’d like to invest in this movie as well," Jiang Shu raised a second finger, looking serious, "The script can be considered part of my shareholding, and besides that, I can invest so money as well."
Li Yuntang did not hesitate and soon nodded in agreent.
For her, these were all small matters.
"Oh, one more thing," Jiang Shu continued, "Approximately how long will it take to complete the filming of this movie?"
"How long?" It was sothing Li Yuntang hadn’t really considered, so she replied based on her experience, "Probably... around six months to a year?"
