After they all left, I let out a relieved breath, then my hand went up to the bite marks. The feeling of my hands ghosting over them was making sparks flutter through my entire body. I still couldn’t believe they’d marked , and now they’re forcing to stay here in Landon’s room... seriously, didn’t they send off to the maid quarters themselves?
What’s their deal now?
I was so glad that I was smart, else I might have stupidly believed they rescued cause they cared about . After ntioning that they all did that because of what they wanted from , none of them denied it, further solidifying my thoughts. Fucking bastards, I hated them all so much.
I suddenly started to feel stuffed from the inside, like it was getting tight in there and I wasn’t getting enough breath in there. There was also a sinking feeling in the middle of my chest, and when I felt that feeling up, I was horrified to realize that the feeling was because the princes left. I didn’t want them in my sight at all, but it seems like that bite that all gave seed to have done sothing to my system, cause sothing within now wants them close. I felt so infuriated that I forcefully shoved those stupid thoughts to the deepest part of my mind just as the doors of the bedroom got pushed open.
I tensed up, thinking it was the princes who marked despite hating so much, but I was relieved to discover it wasn’t them. Instead, it was Ada and iris, and they all rushed to the bed right after shutting the door. They fell into the spots beside , bursting into tears as they hugged tightly.
"My lady, we were so worried about you!" Ada cried as she sobbed and they all hugged tightly again. I felt so touched and sothing squeezed tightly in my chest, making feel like I was cherished for once in my entire life, and weirdly, that made teary eyed as well.
"You both heard what happened to ?" I asked as I glanced between the two of them, and they both nodded at the sa ti.
"Yes, my lady. Everyone in the entire palace did, and it was rumored that you even died. We didn’t even know where you were, till we were instructed by king Damon to co take care of you in here." Iris explained as she wiped at her cheeks and I nodded slowly.
"Oh." I whispered as they both helped sit up, and pain shot through my entire body once again, but it wasn’t as bad as it was when I attempted to stand myself soti ago.
Ada and Iris gasped at the sa ti, and I realized they were both staring at the side of my throat. "My lady... the princes market you??!" They whispered with clear excitent but I scoffed as I briefly touched the mark.
"Yes, those annoying bastards. They really did!"
The two maids exchanged confused looks before glancing back at . "My lady, you don’t sound so happy?"
"Cause I’m not, those bastards really..." I continued just as Iris gripped my arm, appearing panicked as her eyes widened.
"My lady, you can’t bad mouth the kings! That’s treason," she explained urgently and I scoffed just as Ada continued, her eyes still on the side of my throat.
"Besides, the fact that they all marked you is proof that they clearly liked you! You should be happy about this, my lady. And rember that we both told you that they liked you?" She spoke but I begged to defer.
I didn’t bother continuing this argunt cause I could tell it wouldn’t lead anywhere. Instead, I sighed as I flopped back into the bed.
After that, they inford they were gonna help with my bath so I’d be able to fall asleep Betty. It was still midnight, but weirdly, I feel energized.
As they helped undress, they loooked over the wounds from the flogging and both gasped, making frown in confusion.
"What is it?"
"The wounds... they’re almost fully healed." Iris whispered, making so shocked that I almost lost my footing.
"What?" I muttered and they both nodded.
I frowned in confusion, that didn’t make sense to . Since I could rember, I always heal extrely slowly compared to other werewolves. But, even other werewolves still couldn’t heal this fast, it was unusual.
"Perhaps.., did the kings heal you?" Ada asked and I frowned, my heart jumping into my throat.
"What?" I whispered and she shrugged.
"I an... it does make sense, doesn’t it, right Iris?"
Iris nodded almost imdiately. "Yes, that’s logical right now cause it’s the only way we can think to explain this. No one can heal this fast... except the kings. We’ve heard their blood is quite special, so it makes everything about them enhanced— their strength, their stamina, all the way to their spit... so maybe they used their tongues too..."
My eyes widened and I instantly felt dizzy. "T- that couldn’t be!"
"Think about it, my lady! I an, you’re not in last night’s clothes anymore, which ans they changed you into this cloth themselves. Maybe that’s when they did it?" Ada supplied unhelpfully.
Those bastards... Did they really do that? And they saw naked on top of that?
Oh god.
When I swayed from too much shock, Ada and Iris scread as they hurriedly caught before I could fall.

After completing my bath, I was sitting in the large bed, while my two maids fussed over .
"Why are you two serving ? Are you forgetting that I’m now in the sa rank as you two?" I asked as they combed my hair.
"My lady, we’ve been assigned to serve you for now, till further notice." Ada gushed out, sounding very excited about that.
"We’re so happy to be serving you, my lady. We really love serving you, you’re so amazing, and so funny, and you never treat us rudely. That’s very rare to co by at all." Iris revealed this ti and I felt so touched that I felt my heart start to ache once again.
I was about to respond when the door suddenly opened. I glanced towards it and felt a lump instantly ford in my throat at the sight of Landon sauntering in.
"Leave us." He said and at once, the two girls got off the bed and bowed at him before slipping out of the room and closing the door after them. I tensed up in the bed, watching as he slowly approached the bed while my heart slowly climbed up till it was lodged in my throat.
Once he stood by the bed and ran his eyes over , sothing weird ford in my chest and I cleared my throat as I spoke. "So, um, are you all gonna sever this bond as fast as possible?" I blurted out, watching as a bunch of emotions frosted his face before he nodded almost jerkily.
"Perhaps," was his flat answer. I didn’t like it, I wanted more, but I guess it would have to do for now.
"Alright. I’m really really counting on it, and I hope it can be as fast as possible." I muttered with our eyes still locked.
After a few more seconds, he turned just as I spoke.
"What about my new set of mates?"
He clearly stiffened before slowly turning around, and now, a furious expression was across his face.
"What about them?" He demanded and I shrugged.
"I, well, I’d like to see them." I muttered and his eyes narrowed at just as I continued. "Which is why you all really have to sever this bond as fast as possible, cause I’d really like to leave with them once they’re gonna be returning back to their pack."
He barked out another grating laugh before leveling with a scowl. "You fool, you don’t even know them! And yet you’re so excited about the prospect of leaving with them? What if they treat you really horribly? Have you even thought of that at least?"
I rolled my eyes and squared my jaw. "Well, the certainly can’t be as bad as you and your brothers, I’m quite certain about that, so I think I’ll be quite alright."
He barked out another laugh. "Well, do I have so news for you, cause right now, instead of being worried about their mate, they’re presently fucking a woman as we speak."
My eyes widened at those words and a wave of pain washed over .
"What?!"
He snorted. "It really happened."
I frowned, trying to put two Together. That made Jj sense cause they seed like they really cared shit when we had dinner together, so, this was quite hard to believe.
"I don’t believe you." I finally inford him, my eyes narrowed.
