"No offense, but I don’t want to stay with you, or here. I just want to be free, that’s why I asked if you could help." I muttered and he waved off.
"Don’t worry, you’ll be as free as a bird in my house, you’ll not suffer or be forced to be a slave. You’ll be able to go wherever you want." He assured , a warm smile on.
But at this point, I now know better, cause I’ve heard thiss exact words before, but where did it end? With being made into a fucking slave, and I refuse to leave one hell and get into another.
"I think I’ll have to decline, but of course, thank you for the offer." I breathed out and Hugo frowned, looking confused.
"You don’t trust ." He stated, like it was sothing he was certain of, then a dejected look settled over his face as he continued. "Is it sothing the triplets said about ? Sothing they claid I had done?" He asked and I chuckled softly while shaking my head.
"It’s not about that at all, trust . The princes never told shit about you, I’m just being retinal here, that is all," I explained and even though he didn’t look that happy, he still nodded in response after a few minutes.
"Alright, I respect your decision." He stated and I flashed him a grin, feeling relieved that this won’t put so problems between us, and this is exactly he’s he’s so different from the princes, cause if were to be then and I had just refused their offer like this, I wasn’t sure they’d ever let hear the snc of it.
"I’d still like to woo you though," he added, like he was reminding invsee I had forgotten and I felt warmth settle in my stomach as our eyes locked, then I nodded slowly while biting down on my bottom lip.
"I- alright, I’ve heard." I muttered, cause even though I was flattered, I didn’t know what to say right now.
He laughed a little then he stepped forward to take my hand in his, then he kissed the back of my palm.
"Alright, I’ll be gone now, but I’ll co post you a visit tomorrow. Be safe."
Once again, I felt my heart flutter a little and I returned his smile with one of mine, then he was dropping my hand and walking away, and I stared at him till I couldn’t see him anymore.
I remained in that position till one of the maids ca to summon , informing it was ti to serve the wedding congregation food, and there goes any other chance I had left to run away even if I had still wanted to.
Once I was back in the hall, my eyes first went to the front of the stage, where the princes were on once again, along with their new brides. They all look good together if I might add, only that the sight brought so much anger and hatred to and I didn’t even want to dwell on that right now, cause if I’m being honest with myself, I was feeling real Jealous right now, but that made feel quite stupid, so I hated to admit that to myself.
"Apparently the coronations will take place this evening." Ada nudged my shoulder as she revealed beside and I frowned. So tonight is when these vile brides would be crowned lunas? And the princes would be crowned kings?
Well, lucky for them!
"T- that’s good for them, it’s whatever." I muttered in response and turned away from the stage. If Ada was staring at with sympathy right now, I didn’t want to see it, but it was a little nice that her and Iris were feeling bad for cause it’s not usually that people feel bad for in a situation where I’m clearly suffering, and presently is an example, cause the rest of the people in this large crowd right now are all gossiping about and pointing out the fact that this was what I deserved for being the daughter of my father. I wonder how they’d react if they discovered that I was a hybrid, then they’d literally demand that I don’t breathe the sa air as them to avoid contaminating them.
I followed Ada all the way to the back, then we began to serve the food and drinks. It was beyond humiliating, cause whenever I serve people their food, they’re all staring at with condescending looks and laughing right in my face.
Soone even spat in my face and threw the food I served her right against my chest, saying that I must have poisoned it. The rest of the people around laughed, and they refused to accept the rest of the food I tried to serve them till another maid ca to do it.
"Don’t let it get to you," Iris whispered to , but I wasn’t even feeling like breaking down, at least not yet at least, what I felt like doing was to throw hands, to break soone’s nose or beat soone to a pulp, and it’s such a sha that I can’t do that right now cause it would undoubtedly cause a a eve and the king who clearly hates might see it as ab excuse to finally kill off, and I was certain I wouldn’t be able to get away with it like I got away with beating up Lyla.
Lyla clearly hadn’t reported that to anyone yet, and I wondered why. Since the princes regularly slept with her, I thought she’d have done so imdiately. She wasn’t here at the wedding right now, and I wondered if it was because she was mad that she wasn’t at the princes’ wedding with the princes right now.
The rest of the wedding passed by in a blur. I was gritting my teeth with anger as I watched the princes and their brides share a first dance. Although the sight was quite comical cause everyone could certainly tell the princes weren’t willingly doing this cause they kept glaring through out and kept doing everything fast, hence the dance barely lasted two minutes.
At so point, I felt myself unconsciously searching for my new set of mates in the crowd, cause I could sll them in the air every now and then, and when I found them, they were already staring at and I felt myself blush before averting my gaze when one of them flashed a grin and a wink.
My new set of mates were certainly sothing else. They’re as old enough as the crowned princes of this pack. They didn’t have that much deadly reputation, but they weren’t to be ssed with either.
They were known for being whores far and wild as well.
The moon goddess could have given a new set of mates that actually knows how to keep it in their pants at least.

After the wedding, later that evening, I remained in the Alaba quarters while everyone attended the coronation psrty, cause I definitely didn’t want to witness that happening. I was trying to force myself to get so sleep when Iris returned to reveal that I had a visit. I frowned in confusion as I sat up.
"Who’s that?"
"One of those princes that are your mates." She revealed and my eyes widened as I sat up even more, then I smoothed my hands down my dress and fluffed my hair as well, then I began to head out.
"You’re really lucky, my lady. From having three mates who are royalty, the heavens decide to grant you three more, and they’re all hot as hell!" She gushed and Ada who was just returning and had caught the end of the sentence nodded in agreent.
"I know, right??!"
I laughed softly as I left the room, unsure if lucky was the right word to use for my situation right now, cause I wasn’t exactly enjoying life right now or anything.
When I stepped outside and into the corridor right outside the maid quarters, I ca face to face with one of the triplets who’re my new set of mates, and I didn’t know this one’s particular na, but I just know the triplets are Tristan, Theo and Travis.
He flashed a warm grin as his eyes raked over . "You’re truly breathtaking, my lovely mate." He stated in b a warm voice that was deep and light at the sa ti and my cheeks flad a little just as he stepped closer and held his hand out for , which I accepted.
"Thank you, T—"
He kissed the back of my hand, and my stomach fluttered. His scent slt so good right now, and I wanted more.
