Tian Yuying swayed her hips seductively as she approached, her eyes greedily and unabashedly scanning over Mo Junhua’s body.

With broad shoulders, a slender waist, and a strong, muscular arm exposed, one could only imagine what formidable physique lay underneath his military uniform. This man was a pri specin, surely possessing incredible stamina in bed.

Thinking about the delightful pleasure, Tian Yuying unconsciously licked her lower lip, her gaze intensifying, almost wishing she could drag this man to bed right now for a wild ride.

Mo Junhua was not dead; he naturally felt Tian Yuying’s gaze. He was not a novice, and saw through the covetous look in Tian Yuying’s eyes, a hint of contempt flashing through his own.

After Tian Yuying finished speaking, the air seed to be charged with tension, Mo Junhua watched the approaching Tian Yuying in silence, his deep eyes unruffled. Suddenly, he took two steps forward and stood casually.

When Mo Junhua stepped forward, Tian Yuying stopped moving and cautiously guarded against him. Among the guests tonight, there were several tricky n, and Mo Junhua was one of them.

"Since I am already a prisoner under Miss Tian’s custody, I have so doubts I would like to ask Miss Tian. I wonder if you could enlighten , so I could die with understanding."

Tian Yuying twirled a flower, looking at the man who had given up resisting, a sneer flashing in her eyes, "Those who understand the tis are the true heroes, I like people like this. You say, as long as I know, I will tell you."

"Thank you then, what is the relationship between Miss Tian and the owner of this mansion?" Mo Junhua lifted his lips into a smile; for soone who never smiled, his sudden smile was like ice and snow lting, Tian Yuying stared blankly at him, unable to regain her senses.

"Well... A master-disciple relationship." Mo Junhua asked again, and Tian Yuying finally ca to her senses.

"You are cultivators." Mo Junhua statent was decisive.

Tian Yuying was shocked, blurting out, "How did you know?"

Realizing what she had said, Tian Yuying’s face turned pale instantly, fear flashing in her eyes. Her master had instructed that the identity of cultivators must not be revealed, thinking of her master’s thods, fear and panic overwheld her, looking at Mo Junhua’s cold gaze as if staring at a dead man.

Secrets could only be kept by the dead.

Wait, all the guests tonight must stay here, whether Mo Junhua knows or not doesn’t matter anymore.

Tian Yuying’s gaze shifted, and Mo Junhua imdiately sensed that this matter couldn’t end well. Taking the initiative, he stepped half a step sideways with his right foot, powering off like a cannon, his fist viciously smashing toward Tian Yuying.

Tian Yuying hooked her lips in a mocking sneer, the disdain clear in her eyes. How dare an ordinary mortal challenge the dignity of a cultivator? She flicked her hand lightly, cast a spiritual energy shield, and stood still waiting for Mo Junhua’s punch to arrive.

A cold glint flashed in the depth of Mo Junhua’s eyes; he might not have been capable before, but since being struck by lightning, his Body Soul’s strength, speed, and power were incomparably greater.

His intuition told him he could decide the outco with Tian Yuying, and he was not necessarily the one who would lose. Seeing Tian Yuying drawing a circle, likely casting a protective shield for herself, standing there waiting for him to fall into the trap, unfortunately, she miscalculated.

"Bang"

The punch hit Tian Yuying’s spiritual energy shield, the trendous impact rupturing the air, emitting a "whoo whoo" sound. Tian Yuying flew out like a rock, followed by a loud crash, with grass and fallen flowers scattering.

"Pfft", Tian Yuying felt a tallic taste in her throat, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

This was the consequence of underestimating the enemy.

"You... How is this possible?" Tian Yuying, in imnse chest pain, couldn’t utter a complete sentence, staring unbelievably at Mo Junhua.

Why could a re mortal injure her, a cultivator? Why? That defied all reason.

Mo Junhua clenched his fists, glanced at the severely injured Tian Yuying, and was equally shocked by his initial trial’s effectiveness.

Seize the advantage when your opponent is ill, eradicate them root and stem—no one understood this better than Mo Junhua. He clenched his fists and rushed forward.

Tian Yuying watched him in terror, the reflected fist in her eyes like a mountain pressing down upon her, the dangerous shadow of death looming over her. All pretenses of a cultivator’s superior identity, of being the proud Miss Tian from the Tian family, all beca utterly worthless as she murmured pleas for rcy, "Don’t kill , please don’t kill , I beg you..."

"Bang."

A dark shadow flashed through the bushes nearby, and as Mo Junhua surged forward, he suddenly fell down, cursing as he plunged into darkness. He had not noticed soone else hiding nearby. It was a despicable ambush.

"Worthless, you can’t even defeat a mortal." A person stepped out from the shadows; had Mo Junhua been conscious, he would know it was one of the unremarkable guides.

"Master, I was wrong." Thinking she was surely dood, Tian Yuying cried a ss, her tears and snot everywhere, clinging to the guide’s feet.

"Master, leave him to ." She vowed to drain Mo Junhua entirely, leaving nothing but a husk.

The guide crouched down, grasping Mo Junhua’s wrist and examining the peach chain—a magic artifact on a mortal, amusing indeed...

"This man could be useful to ." He dragged Mo Junhua towards the archway.

...

Ji Feng searched around the garden but could not find anyone from Lan Tian, nor did he see any of Mo Junhua’s people. Standing at the junction of the garden and the backyard, Ji Feng hesitated, looked towards the garden, then turned towards the backyard.

As Ji Feng walked further, the noise from the garden faded intermittently, and the deeper he went into the backyard, the quieter it beca, with only the sounds of insects and night birds.

Night birds? Where would there be bird calls in the residence?

Ji Feng halted his steps, turning towards where the calls emanated. There was a flower path, with vibrant blooms on either side, leading forward to a cluster of rockeries.

There were several lighthouses at the crossroads, their dim lights flickering, the tranquil path seeming untouched, the night birds’ calls growing more urgent and sharp.

Ji Feng glanced, then turned to walk back.

"Crown Prince, did you find the person you were looking for?" Suddenly, a woman’s voice ca from down the path.

Ji Feng’s pupils constricted, and he paused before turning around.

Unperceived before, a young woman stood on the flower path, wearing a crimson cheongsam that made her complexion appear even more fair and rosy, her graceful figure enchanting as she held a petite red lantern painted with figures.

Ji Feng’s eyes flickered—Sun Yingying, one of the Sisters i Lan had ntioned. In such an important occasion, those listed were sure to be present.

"Miss Sun, what are you doing here?" Ji Feng’s face showed the proper amount of surprise.

Sun Yingying blinked, then pursed her lips in a smile, "I’m honored that the Crown Prince rembers . I was waiting here especially for you, Your Highness."
