The fiercest ever recorded battle in the Sahara was between one of the 3 Pirate Gods, the Red Goddess who was the only female among them, and a 4th rank high-grade soldier.
Against all odds and beliefs that the high-grade system already brought to humanity, the Red Goddess erged as the winner, trashing the 4th rank high-grade soldier who intruded into her territory.
Though she was not able to kill the intruder, the fact alone that she defeated a higher-ranked soldier was enough to be placed in the history books.
These 3 Pirate Gods were the absolute rulers of the Badlands of the Dry Snake territory. And according to rumors, though it may not be obvious, the 3 Gods had control over every pirate in the Badlands territory.
If any pirate ever made the foolish mistake of deciding to beco a normal civilian after becoming rich enough, rumors said that the 3 Pirate Gods had ways to end the lives of these deserters.
Yes, they called them deserters because pirating was their life. Without it, they were like lions that have been starved of at.
This was the main reason why Clark was anxious. There was no record of any pirate surviving after deciding to leave, even when the target was other 3rd rank high-grade pirates.
Another fact was that surveillance was placed on the pirate leaders more.
Below the Pirate Gods were the Pirate Sages, and these were also mostly comprised of 3rd rank high-grade pirates. Only the lower rank of Pirate King and Queens welcod more low-ranked pirates.

Another 10 minutes later, they finally arrived at the pirate city. Compared to conventional cities, it looked deserted like a haunted land. Only the dry breeze blowing, and the sand swirling slightly could be felt.
As this was the first ti that Clark was coming to a pirate city, he let his curiosity roam though he tried to prevent others from detecting it.
As they went deeper inside the city, they finally started seeing pirates. Unlike in conventional cities, pirates dressed anyway they liked.
Most of them lived with the knowledge that they would probably die that day, so they lived an extrely carefree life. A few ters away, Clark saw an almost naked female pirate speaking with so male pirates.
As she spoke, the male pirates groped her on inappropriate parts and her face hardly had a reaction to it. On other parts of the city, even more extre things could be seen, Clark had to try hard not to reveal an over the top reaction.

Turning his head, Clark saw a pirate who was dressed in dirty rag clothes holding a huge device. Before he could react, Arthur already went close.

It was a long video, and it was from the pirate city of Pirate Queen Anal. This pirate queen was the direct rival of pirate Queen Cobra, their rivalry started 4 years ago when the Cobra just rose into power.
Seeing this womans venomous face, Clarks face warped involuntarily. Feeling the dead stare from his back, Arthur coughed to make the atmosphere normal and less awkward again.
It was rare to see Pirate Queens personally releasing intel from their cities. But this ti, this pirate queen suspiciously released a lot of information with one catching both ns attention.
They didnt know why, but this Pirate Queen released information about their target. According to her, a rival Pirate Queens subordinate stole a treasure outside the desert which she wanted.
She gave a mission that other pirates should help look for this pirate, and the one who retrieves the treasure from him would receive a reward from her.
This may seem like a mission for pirates, but Clark and Arthur knew that it was not like this.
No normal pirate had the guts to face the subordinate of a Pirate Queen, so this woman was definitely addressing the rcenaries that were going after the pirate in an indirect manner.
Though they didnt know which of her rival this pirate was the subordinate of, Clark and Arthur were glad to take advantage of it to fulfill their goal.
Not only did she leave detailed information about this pirate, his current location was also revealed and it was the next pirate city to their current one.
It may be a trap, but Clark and Arthur were ready to go into it. Even if trouble struck, they were confident of extricating themselves out with their strength.
Without hesitation, they left the city and continued their journey.
