A normal band of Rhino exobeasts was not too daunting of a task for a 3rd rank high-grade rcenary to just safeguard her life, but these Rhinos were different, they moved and fought like they were being controlled.
The Rhino at the head of the formation headbutted lady treasure who was unable to react on ti, flinging her up like a ball being played by a pro basketball player.
Due to the impact of the hit, lady treasure let go, allowing the petite lady to wriggle herself away through the Rhinos, taking advantage of her superhuman agility and dexterity.
Despite being caught off-guard by the sudden attack, lady treasure reacted appropriately to redy it, displaying the full flair of a rcenary of her caliber.
As she quickly started stabilizing herself amid the Rhino attack, she saw sothing else, the other escaping tourists saw it too. They saw one of the most terrifying dangers to encounter in the Sahara, they saw pirates.
It was a dium-sized pirate group, consisting of at least 300 pirates. Most of the pirates walked on foot, but a portion of them rode on Rhinos. Clearly, they were the owners of the exobeast Rhinos.
Seeing this, not only the tourists, even Clark was shocked. At this current age, so humans already achieved the feat of taming exobeasts but these were a select few powers, hes never heard of pirates accomplishing the feat.
At the front of the group stood another Rhino, it was bigger than the others and on top it sat a man, a burly man on beast skin clothes who was clearly the pirate leader of this pirate group.
Behind the group was a group of people in chains, clearly tourists that they took as slaves. They hopelessly followed as the group moved through the desert.
To the astonishnt of the tourists, as they fended against the attacks of the Rhinos, the petite lady escaped towards the direction of the pirate group. In a few seconds, she was before the burly man as she bowed respectfully.
Theyve always been wondering about the identity of each other, and finally, the petite lady revealed her identity herself. She was a pirate.
Blood Lord, she has 90% of the treasures. Without twisting her words, the petite lady exposed lady treasure and what she had.
Hearing her words, the man raised his head, revealing a look of bloodlust on his face as he glared daggers at lady treasure who was battling against his beasts.
Slowly, he raised his red saber at her, then he spat out a word. Kill!
Yaah!!!
The excited pirates yelled like a group of barbarians as they grabbed their crudely made exotic weapons and started rushing at the group.
In just a glance, lady treasure already deduced that this pirate leader was a 3rd rank high-grade pirate so she had no plans of going against him, his subordinates, and his beasts all at once.
Without hesitation, she decided to escape. Kicking hard at the Rhino closest to her, she jumped backward while activating her rocket-like escape machine.
The rocket slowly powered up but it jerked before switching off the next mont. Astonished, lady treasure turned her head only to see a fellow tourist that she was familiar with, a tourist she felt contempt for and already saw as a lucky bastard.
Bam!
Clark released a fierce kick at the ladys face, breaking her jaw while still holding his jamming device with one hand. He didnt pull out his weapons, his hands were enough to do what he wanted to do.
After seeing and analyzing what was happening, he also made his choice imdiately. Though he could do it, going against two 3rd rank high-grade soldiers were a stretch even to him so he decided to just loot and escape.
Originally, his plan was to take everyones treasure but due to this situation, he decided to be satisfied with taking lady treasures alone.
Lady treasure tried to retaliate, but Clark restricted her every move. After observing her for over a month, he already knew her like a textbook.
He chained a combo of hits, not intending to kill her but to temporarily immobilize her. With the advantage given by his higher-tier gadgets, he temporarily incapacitated her in just a few seconds.
Under the unwilling glare from the rcenary, a shaless Clark looted her of all her treasure and hard work of the past few months.
As soon as the last treasure fell inside his bag with a gentle shing sound accompanying it, he grinned, winked at the rcenary before ducking to dodge a Rhinos attack, disappearing in the process.
Clark intended to escape imdiately as the angry pirate leader already started coming after him, but what he heard made him stop the next mont.
Clark!
Hearing this voice, Clark felt his heart freeze cold as an urge to massacre everyone on the scene sprouted in his mind. He was not about to let anyone botch his chances of getting his girlfriend.
While pulling his exotic sword out with a fearso look on his face, he turned to see who recognized him but what he saw made him freeze the next mont.
He recognized this face, he could never forget it, he spent a few years with this fellow under not too good circumstances.
Seeing this person and the expression on his face, a grin spread across his face as he understood the plan imdiately. Without hesitation, he turned and sprinted at the pirate leader.
At the back of the pirate group, as the pirates were preoccupied with catching their new prey, unknowing to them, a wolf in sheeps clothing was among the slaves that they took previously.
Arthur was surprised on seeing Clark here, but this did not prevent his brain from rapidly forming plans as he decided to ally with his old friend imdiately.
Like the hulk, he spread his hands, snapping his chains to pieces in the process as he retrieved his spear before sprinting towards the pirates.
The pirates were alard, one of them turned behind but all he saw was a white gleaming light. The next mont, he lost his head; dozens of other pirates experienced the sa thing in just a few more seconds.
They were horrified, they never knew they chained a 3rd rank high-grade rcenary as a slave. Unfortunately for them, ti could not reverse and they had to suffer the consequences.
12 minutes later, only 2 n were left standing.
