Fu Xing couldn’t help but chuckle at her reaction, then with a resigned shake of his head, he stood up. “You rest a bit more. I’ve already had Lina prepare new living items from ho for you. They’ll be sent over soon, then we’ll arrange to send you back to school.”
“Where is this?”
Lin Fu erged from the covers, looked around curiously, and only then did she realize that this wasn’t her ho, the environnt was very unfamiliar.
“My dormitory.”
“Oh!” Lin Fu suddenly realized. “So this is the dormitory where you locked in your house and wouldn’t let leave.”
What was ant as an offhand remark caused a shadow to pass through Fu Xing’s eyes. He then noticed Lin Fu had gotten up from the bed and was curiously inspecting the room barefoot, the shadow in his eyes lting away.
Lin Fu’s gaze wandered between the wardrobe, bathroom, and study, occasionally sniffing the air carefully.
“Very good, no scent of other won.”
This murmur stopped Fu Xing in his tracks as he was about to leave. He turned around, his gaze filled with surprise.
Half an hour later, Lina arrived with two chest-high boxes in tow, her eyes sparkling with admiration the mont she saw Lin Fu.
“Lady, it’s so wonderful to see you.”
Lin Fu was sitting on the bed, ntally preparing herself, and when she heard the commotion, she opened her eyes and asked confusedly, “Why are you so excited? It hasn’t been many days since I last left ho.” By her count, it hadn’t even been half a month since school started, and she had already taken leave twice.
That really wasn’t right.
She had to go back to school imdiately.
“I’m excited because you’re amazing, Lady. The butler had all of us at the Duke Mansion watch your performance in the Big Escape Killing. Everyone likes you a lot, and the butler also said your performance was stunning.”

Lina didn’t see it as a big deal; in fact, she felt fortunate about her choice. She had already changed her opinion about Miss Lin Fu and knew she was uncommon, but she had never imagined Miss Lin Fu to be even more formidable than she had thought.
