Chapter 372: Chapter 372: Far from Enough
Lin Fu rolled over, her beautiful legs suddenly draped over Fu Xing’s body as she clung to him like an octopus, unconsciously rubbing her cheek against his arm.
The unintentional gesture of intimacy could soften even the hardest heart, and Fu Xing let go, embracing Lin Fu and closing his eyes.
Monger had been busy preparing all the ingredients for the barbecue and then realized that the Commander hadn’t co out of his room. Not daring to disturb him, he contacted Randall.
“Put the ingredients in the preservation room, the Commander might need them tomorrow.”
“Okay.”
There was an existing preservation room in the villa that could keep the ingredients absolutely fresh. After finishing up, Monger ca out to find Randall squatting by the roadside smoking, surrounded by a haze of smoke, with many cigarette butts on the ground, and a naïve-looking cleaning robot standing by his feet eagerly wanting to clean them up.
“Guard Captain Randall, good evening,” Monger greeted politely, then curiously looked around and noticed many familiar mbers of the Guard Team.
“Guard Captain, why don’t you go rest?”
“Can’t sleep.”
“Is there anything I can help you with?” Monger, who had been assigned to Fu Xing’s side not long ago and was a genuine newbie, was very aware of his junior position. “Is it because of Lin Qingfeng?”
Knowing of tonight’s operation against Lin Qingfeng as the deputy, Monger naturally knew about it but didn’t understand why Lin Qingfeng was let go by the Commander at the last mont after being surrounded.
That was strange.
“You’re curious?” Randall turned his head, scoffing.
“I am, actually. But I’m more curious about Lin Qingfeng’s real identity. He’s impressive, managing to evade us for so long.”
“You can’t know yet.”
“Oh!” Monger said, clearly disappointed.
“But I need to remind you that you should always have enough respect for the Lady.”
Monger muttered defensively, “I’ve always respected the Lady, it’s so others who don’t.”
“That’s not enough,” Randall corrected sternly. “Not nearly enough.”
“Okay.”
Monger agreed because he had never been swayed by the rumors on the Star Network; he knew the Lady ca from a remote star system and, in his eyes, as she was the Commander’s wife and quite accomplished herself, he would naturally respect her.
Monger was still too young to understand the depth of Randall’s words.

Lin Fu’s performance during the day had put enormous pressure on the other military academies, and even the First Military Command College, which had always been calm, could no longer sit idly by or use the old standards to judge Elbert.
“No, we must be more vigilant and change our previous strategy,” declared the leaders gathered in the lobby of the hotel of the First Military Command College.
“There’s an agreent between Elbert and the Military Court that if she doesn’t win first place, Lin Fu will go to Military Court. After her performance today, is there anyone who dares guarantee they can beat her?”
“I certainly don’t,”
Everyone instinctively looked at Qin Mo.
Previously lost in thought, Qin Mo was nudged by soone next to him and quickly ca to his senses, shaking his head, “If Lin Fu uses ‘Purple Moon’ during compulsory land battle login, I have no confidence either. We’ve never genuinely fought before and without Lin Fu’s combat data, it’s hard to predict her style.”
