Chapter 325: Chapter 325: Fu Xing’s Inner World
Fu Xing’s handso brows and eyes relaxed as he heard her words and raised an eyebrow at his beloved little wife, “You’re just realizing that now?”
“Ah?”
Lin Fu was dumbfounded; she had only ant to say that as a joke, but she hadn’t expected to receive such an unexpected answer.
“So you really were pretending? Well, look at you, the big liar!”
Lin Fu imdiately beca upset and quietly picked up the nearby showerhead and sprayed Fu Xing, instantly turning the bathroom into chaos. Fine droplets of water scattered everywhere, soaking Fu Xing completely. His clean and fresh hair imdiately beca wet, and the half-open bathrobe clinging to his skin unwittingly revealed his perfect muscular curves.
Lin Fu was instantly stunned.
“Do you like it?” It wasn’t until the man’s teasing voice sounded in her ear that she ca back to reality.
Fu Xing leisurely took off his clothes, completely unbothered by being naked in front of his little wife, but Lin Fu couldn’t do the sa and quickly turned her back to him.
“What are you hiding for? You’ve seen what should be seen, and what shouldn’t have been as well.” Fu Xing walked into the bathtub, pressed on Lin Fu’s shoulders, and turned her around to face him.
The shy and pitiable look of his little wife once again struck Fu Xing’s heart. His breathing beca heavier, and his dark green eyes shimred with trembling desires.
“Ah Foo.”
Fu Xing whispered softly, pulling Lin Fu into his embrace, his handso face buried in her shoulder, “I love you so much, I can’t bear to leave you for a mont.”
Lin Fu’s body trembled slightly.
“Promise , Ah Foo, never to leave . Please don’t bring up divorce again, okay?”
Lin Fu didn’t know how to respond, feeling sothing indescribable in her heart, leaving her unable to speak.
“I wasn’t trying to pretend to be aloof before, nor was I intentionally so cold to you. I… I didn’t know how to like soone. From childhood, all I learned was how to be a qualified heir, and then at the Military Academy. Life was dull and uninteresting; I even lacked hobbies or interests. I never knew how to please others, open up my heart. Even though I’ve liked you for a long ti, I was unwilling to admit it.”
Fu Xing’s voice gradually took on a self-deprecating tone.
“I took over the family’s territory officially at sixteen, served in the military at eighteen, and went to war at twenty, all the way up to twenty-nine this year. I’ve never had my own ti. Half of belongs to the Fu Family, the other half to the Empire. Every decision I make must consider these two sides. I must be calm, rational; I can’t afford to be swayed by emotions or show any weaknesses. Yet, the more I tried to suppress, the more the backlash surged…”
Fu Xing’s voice took on a raspy and strained emotion, “When you ca into my life, I didn’t know how to fulfill my duties as a husband. I even wondered how much of belonged to my wife.”
“Stop talking.”
Lin Fu finally hugged him back, trembling as she interrupted him.
“No, I must make things clear today. If I don’t, there will still be barriers between us, and you’ll propose a divorce again.” Fu Xing’s voice paused, stopping for a mont before he continued, “I don’t want to hear it a third ti. I hope this is the last ti.”
“Then… then let go first, okay?” Lin Fu said, feeling embarrassed.
Fu Xing was startled for a mont, looking at his blushing little wife, and his mood instantly brightened, “Hahaha… Okay!”
