"Where is your promise?" Fu Xing asked, his voice hoarse. "What about your oath?"
Lin Fu was taken aback, suddenly rembering what she had once said to the butler, and fell silent for a long ti.
"I..." She hadn’t broken her oath; she would still love him, and for the rest of her life, she would do her best to protect him. But loving soone didn’t necessarily an marriage.
"Humph! You really are a liar."
Fu Xing’s voice trembled with a heartbreaking fragility, "You’ve fooled everyone, stolen the butler’s trust, and my heart, and now you’ve turned heartless."
Facing the accusation, Lin Fu had no response.
Thinking like this, she indeed was a heartless scoundrel.
But how could she explain the tornt inside her?
Lin Fu felt like she couldn’t breathe.
"Ding!"
The flying car stopped in Fu Xing’s dormitory courtyard, the door automatically opened, but neither of them got out.
Lin Fu struggled internally, fighting the urge to turn back and throw herself into Fu Xing’s arms. She pressed down on the car’s roof, ready to fly out, only to be grabbed by the wrist by Fu Xing and stumbled back into his embrace.
His arms provided such a sense of security, his unique scent entrancing Lin Fu.
"I apologize."
Fu Xing didn’t want Lin Fu behind his back, not looking at him. He held her, changing her position in his arms, sitting her on his lap, face to face, the two of them intimately close.
They could both feel each other’s breath, their heartbeats.
Lin Fu wanted to struggle, but Fu Xing held her down firmly, not giving her a chance to wriggle free.
"Don’t move." Fu Xing’s breathing beca slightly more rapid, crimson at the corners of his eyes, passion uncontainable leaping in the depths of his gaze.
Lin Fu was imdiately too frightened to move.
After a while, Fu Xing managed to suppress his urge, but his face still showed his passion. He hugged Lin Fu’s slender waist tightly, his voice husky. "I apologize. Please don’t be angry anymore, okay? I know you’re angry, feeling that because of , people always cause you trouble and make you unhappy. I’m sorry, it won’t happen again."
Lin Fu’s eyes instantly reddened.
Her heart grew even softer.
"Why are you apologizing?" she asked, hitting his chest in anger, "You clearly never think you’re wrong. Why are you breaking your own bottom line to apologize?"
"Because I don’t want you to leave ." Fu Xing grabbed Lin Fu’s hand and gently kissed it, fire burning in his dark green eyes, enough to incinerate Lin Fu’s soul.
Lin Fu felt even more sorrowful at his words, and tears rolled down, "Don’t you know that if you compromise with now, there will be countless more tis of compromise in the future?"
"I know."
Fu Xing pulled her into his arms, warm and soft lips landing on Lin Fu’s delicate red lips, a kiss full of all his passion made Lin Fu’s head spin, and she leaned bonelessly in his arms.
After a long ti, they parted breathlessly, their lips separating, and in the depths of Fu Xing’s eyes lurked a fierce beast.
"Ah Foo, I can’t hold back anymore, and I don’t want to."
"Well..." Lin Fu’s cheeks flushed unbearably, stamring without being able to utter a word.
"Will you give in to ?"
"But..." Lin Fu looked around, her voice shy and quieter than a mosquito’s, "Isn’t it bad inside the car? It’s still open-air with no roof."
Oh, help! This is just too embarrassing.
